  1. No doubt the story will be changed to have been a targeted attack my North Korean hackers to disrupt freedom!
  2. Was watching it live... bloody hilarious
  3. Will certainly make scenes like this one from Avatar a reality. Bring on the tiny apartments that have at least one whole wall as your media portal... joy....
  4. My first PC that I owned myself was 486 DX2-66 with 8Mb of ram, 14" CRT and 540Mb HDD. Of course I'm an old bastard but that cost $2500AU in 1994 I think calculators are faster then that now
  5. I'd have to go with the Kova, would be a good second mouse to my Roccat Kone XTD+.
  6. I just want to know, is it going to rain in Southern California today at 4:29pm??
  7. and much more space, how about giving Luke a collection of LTT T-Shirts to have on hand for when he is making videos? I would say the most common thing I remember from any video he is in is the line : "... you could support us by buying a t-shirt, that isn't like this one" If he had a wardrobe of t-shirts to choose from, we could see them in videos. Now they have the space, what other options could they do?
  8. And now thanks to a cringe-worthy advert, everyone is talking about MSI and their products. Getting your brand into the minds of people - SUCCESS! --------- The truth is the only adverts that truly work are the Awesome ones and the Terrible ones... they are the adverts people remember. Every thing else just gets blurred out.
  9. Luke repeated himself a few times, "Plug it into a library.. no wait, not sure if you can do that" 1 min later, "plug it into a hotel screen or a library monitor" . Hate to say it, not a very interesting video. Sounds like a paid advert you get in late night tv or just a filler episode while you make an iwatch review.
  10. If you to get a RED "first" shirt, just don't go on any Away missions....
  11. You're insinuating that it is dirty and something that they have to hide. And to people that would pay that much, they would probably display it on their couch or on a chair near their bed. That aside, I think the main thing most people would need to accept first is that some people will have that much money to throw around on "luxury" items. In fact, forgetting about "sexdolls" in general, there are probably a heap of people that do have the $$$ to spend on a range of items that most of us would consider as being weird or crazy but for them is quite natural. I'm sure there are collectors of knick-knacks and other stuff that would have no problems spending that sort of money on what ever they want. It is just for the most of us, we wouldn't see that much money at one time to be used in any way we wanted so the whole concept is weird. Now forgetting the $$$ value of it, would we consider a woman that has her own sex toys as being a weird thing? I'm sure there are plenty of people with partners that have sex toys and that they use it with their partner on a regular basis. So if we can accept that sort of option, why would a sexdoll be considered a 'taboo' item and something that needed to be hidden? Hell, their girlfriend/wife/mistress/sex partner may be into it or even be the one that suggested it as being the first step into allowing another "person" in to their sexual play (albeit, a fucking expensive one). So again, for some people it may even take pride of place in the lounge room. The other thing is that in the future, a sexdoll like this could be supplied to people working in remote areas where the ability to have another person is just not feasible (sexdolls don't consume resources etc) and the ability to have one with an AI that will converse with you could be just enough to keep you sane enough and to stop you from blowing your brains out because of loneliness. I'm sure there are other reasons that people could think of a use for them but I can't at the moment. Sexbots just seem like a logical first step into making robots and androids that will be used for all sorts of reasons in the future. We just need to get over the "taboo" thoughts.
  12. I don't understand the reason for locking the movement keys. Not everyone uses WASD and the only way to change it is to modify the input.settings config file manually. No doubt some bright spark will create an interface that allows us to change it, but you have to wonder why they didn't include it themselves.
  13. All those un-sleeved power cables in there. I understand that as a server device it is not going to be on display and to cut costs when being built the company that built it wouldn't do that, BUT this is a LMG system! We have certain expectations! Where's the bling???
  14. Only 2 patches.. it is now saying ready to play. When you guys get there, have fun!
  15. It boggles my mind why they never stagger these releases by date/time. Even a few hours apart (rather then full days) would have to be better then trying to cram everyone in at the one time. A steady stream of updates rather then a mad dash HAS to be the better option. Through RSC I've already had one 54mb which had troubles and now on to the 2nd patch of 354mb which is also having download problems.
