I never saw a popular competitive game with a good community. and I admit, I was part of the problem: I havent played dota 2 in 3+ years because it is unhealthy to me, for real.

Not a bottleneck. You are MAYBE limited, but there will always be a limiting factor in a build. You can overclock your CPU and maybe RAM to get better performance. Also, if the GPU usage is too low, try to do a clean driver install

Something is strange on this video, why is the GPU usage not near 100%? I may be wrong, but I never saw RAM bottlenecking in this particular manner, and also in none of the tests the GPU usage is at 100%. Also, when talking about ryzen, its true that RAM makes a big difference (and even then I dont care about it that much), but on intel? I dont think its worth it to spend a lot of money and have the hassle just to upgrade RAM and see minimal gains. what you can do is try to overclock your RAM, or set better timings. check out gamer nexus video on that subject, its very in depth and it may help you.

Mine didnt have any time changes, unlike the computers in my workplace. Meh, I just was happy to see it was close to lunch time, just to be sad within seconds when I noticed the clock was just wrong.

Gog is literally a store: you get the game FOR REAL. No drm, no nothing. And its run by CDPR so its very trustworthy.

Facebook gaming? I was confused because this is SO obscure that I even forgot I tried to watch it for a bit, on some exclusive dota tournements. If THAT is more popular than mixer, well, thats a bad sign. I would think Ninja alone would be bigger than facebook gaming or even YT gaming

I wanted to play Fallout 4 when it launched, but I knew my GPU wasnt going to cut it... Because of that: I was so noob at the time that I assumed my pc would run anything, because why the hell wouldnt It? I found out that my gpu was pure trash when J tried to play skyrim and it was a slideshow, even on 900p low settings... Tought it was a bug, found out about fraps and figured out my fps was 8-15... But how?! I played skyrim before - as it turns out my pc had a decent GPU at some point, but it was changed after it "broke" (it could also have been stolen by corrupt technicians, I will never know). So in the end I found out I had a gt210, and it was maybe even worse than my integrated graphics. That was fine because I only played dota at the time. Fast foward to Fallout 4 launch: I knew I had to get a gpu, had no money. Asked for a gtx 450 as my bday present (because it was listed as minimum requirements). I was lucky my father got me a gtx 750ti instead of the old 450 (which was almost the same price), and after that I started learning bit by bit

It admires me that it is ""common" to see people here begging for hardware. I find it extra sadfunny when they ask LINUS for it.

I share the family plan with my ex and some it her friends. And by share I mean they share it and I got the last slot for free, which works fine for me.

AFAIK, trypophobia is not a "real" phobia. It is something that a lot of people have (me included) but its just a bad feeling - and the new iphone DEFINETELY does not bother me. If the whole back of the phone had irregular holes, MAYBE people could feel bad looking at it, but still the whole situation is ridiculous. For ppl that are confused, just google trypophobia in google images that you will see what this is about.

True. Everybody hates when stuff changes, even if it is for the better. Sometimes the changes are BAD for legitimate reasons, but I havent tried it yet. I remember some changes Youtube and Twitch app made that were so bad that I was sure they would be reversed (and they were. Thinking about it, they might have been bugs even)

I loved The Perfection on Netflix. Also I liked Apostle, but it can be too slow for some people. El Cuerpo and The Orphanage are very good.

Had a similar experience, I was too busy to play in the last month, so when I started playing Prey it felt flat. Halfway through the game I just wanted to finish it. This can happens sometimes, but now im playing witcher 2 and enjoying waaay better, you just have to find a game you want to play at this moment and enjoy it for what it is.

Its not a myth, but also not entirely true. Every person has different needs and tastes, so it is 100% subjective. I would say that for A LOT of mac buyers, the mac is not worth it - because of marketing and other stupid reasons, ppl just think its better or are just used to it. some people would say "paying $100 for a book is stupid" and then they go and buy a $300 painting. If you have the money and you spend it wisely, you can get a ton of value from something that others would never understand.

Let me rephrase the question: " Does running your hardware at maximum power eventually hurt your pc in anyway i have always wanted to know. " the answer is yes and no. yes - because everything dies, and running at max 24/7 will make stuff die sooner. no - because hardware lasts a loooong time. if you are using proper voltages/cooling, you can run stuff at max for many hours every day for years and years and probably your hwardware will become obsolete BEFORE it dies. ofc it depends on the parts, but processors for example last FOREVER. other eletronic components have a rated life, like mosfets and capacitors, and they are rated for a specific temperature, so if temps are higher their life spam lowers significantly.

1080p FOR SURE. 1440p I would guess yes too, but maybe you have to tweak a few settings. Also im considering hairworks to be off or at least not maxed, because it just cuts so many fps that its never worth it.

Just like Fallout 76 has "16x more detail than Fallout 4!" Sure, its easy to say this bs when there is no real comparative... It can be 4x faster under "X and Y" but only 20% faster average on AAA games.

I will get it on GOG, more money for CDPR and you get the non drm version. Also good to see regional pricing, that means a lot to me. I dont mind preordering this game, because I will play it no matter what. But I will wait when its near launch to pre-order.

Cyberpunk 2077 is less than a year away...this is going to be AWESOME Also looking foward to the outer worlds, looks really good. Baldurs gate 3 and Elden ring loom like they are FAR from being delivered, but they are on my list for sure.

Divinity original sin 2. Turn based rpg, AMAZING story and characters, great combat, endless possibilities. Its a dense game and has a kinda steep learning curve, but its SO worth it

I dont think so, a guy in the US (I think) tried this on a massive TV and got prosecuted. To be fair, he was notified of the error and asked to return the TV, which he didnt do. Maybe if they never notice it would be "ok", but not really ethical.

I say m dot two and I HATE IT. There is no reason to say it that way (well, there is the dot but also you really dont have to say it), but every techtuber says it like that so it just became burned into my brain. But nothing bothers me more than the way Riley says OLED. Also, why people say LED as "el ay dee" and not just led? But when saying OLED they do say oled instead of "o el ay dee"?
