  1. Damn i know that feeling OP, its always nerve wracking building the first fairly expensive build
  2. Is it weird that I'm turned on by that
  3. imo you're spending too much on the ram kits. Better DDR4 3000 2x 8GB kits are available at 80bucks
  4. Well to be honest I don't know what to think of this phone, I already have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, I can barely see this phone getting the better of my Note 5 at anything except synthetic benchmarks. Nothing special here I guess? (Still would love to use it tho, Smartphone master race )
  5. I use the standard clunky keyboard of my HP laptop which is paired with a Logitech B100 mouse. Obviously not the best but it works
  6. I kid you not, but I'm using an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 with a 1GB Point of View Nvidia GeForce 8400GS. My laptop is an i5 6200U with a GT940M. I know the RX480 will easily bottleneck my E7500 but it'll be an incentive to upgrade to a newer rig, been waiting to jump on the AMD bandwagon anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It'd really be nice to get a head start in the graphics department
  7. How about this-http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/nuc/change-the-game-with-nuc.html http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856102166 The integrated Iris 580 is roughly as powerful as the Nvidia GT940M, so rest assured you can play a few more demanding titles than the League of Legends, And later on you can get a graphics amplifier if you need more gfx oomph thanks to the tb3.
  8. Well to be honest I don't know what to think of this. Or any projector as a matter of fact. I don't really have a benchmark to judge projectors. The only time I've used projectors were at school for smart boards. Let's just say it wasn't an amazing experience for me. This product looks interesting as it's a short throw one, so pretty compact not just in size but setup wise too. If it works for Linus, it works for me too. (Although it's sponsored ) I'd really like to get my hands one on thanks to you guys. I know I have an abysmally low chance of actually getting it but whatever, I tried. It'd totally make me THAT guy when I go to college this fall
  9. Yup, I'd go for the 6800K. Would run the GTX1080s at 8x though, not that it matters since they won't even bottleneck at 8x
  10. but do you think it'll be worth spending 200 bucks for a 10 fps increase?
  11. So a new i5 4590 costs 200usd and a good mobo would be 100 more on that. Whereas you could get a new better am3+ mobo with the noctua for less than 200 and OC your Fx8350. And reuse the noctua later on. All comes down to you.
