The camera bump in the back is very very ugly and the extra vertical screen space on left and right in useless. Also Control Center now can be accessed only from corners. On the stage the Face ID stuff did not work on the first try....

The problem with these results is hackintoshing and how extremely easy it is to fake everything.
 
Seriously using clover and some hex editing I could make my Sierra install say any CPU I wanted too and altering the system definition is as easy as editing a line in a text file. In actual fact CPU spoofing is how hackintoshers have had Sierra running on Kabylake for so long (for those who don't know real Kaby support is coming in High Sierra), Skylake & Kabylake are so similar you can spoof a Skylake in Clover and with a few kext edits (for iGPU and 200 series Audio) you can get a fully working hack install on Kaby showing as Skylake.
 
I'm not saying they're not real but be aware that faking a CPU on a Hackintosh is stupid easy.

yes, but the point is that it does work and it is stable enough to run a cinebench or geekbench, which could be used as proof that the iMac Pro will have one (i really doubt it, easily could've been faked)

We really need to boycott AMD for this. From my personal point of view Vega is a fail release on all fronts.  I see absolutely no reason to buy Vega 56 or 64 now, AIBs will pump up the prices, you need a thermonuclear plant for power and with two Vega 64 Liquid Cooled you can heat up a Siberian house in winter with no problem.

Just to toss another review out there, Techgage ran Vega 64 through some Workstation/Compute testing...

While still power hungry, some of the results on the workstation side appear to be stronger than NVidia cards for a lot cheaper of a price.

AMD certainly isn't dragging behind by choice. According to statements made by Raja in the previous year, AMD effectively shut down their serious graphics development in expectance that high-performance gaming was phasing out. When Raja left Apple and returned to AMD in 2013, AMD had been only releasing minor refreshes of the same GPU for the previous 3 years. Raja said that he really pressed AMD to start making graphics development a focus again, but that there was a lot of ground they had to cover to catch up with Nvidia - and that they wouldn't be able to do it in a single GPU generation. The first AMD GPUs released by AMD since Raja returned is Polaris - and Vega's architecture was finalized around the time that Polaris released.
 
So, Polaris and Vega are both partial steps during the process for AMD to close the gap between them and Nvidia.
 
Boycotting AMD isn't going to help, since they're already doing what they can to close the gap, and just have to deal with the concessions until they've full managed to do so. AMD hyping their products is likely a necessity for AMD's graphics division to be able to survive financially long enough for them to get back on their feet.

This needs to stop. Waiting for the next thing needs to stop. AMD Radeon devision needs to be punished for over hyping and massively under delivering. I hope in compute Vega will be compatible, and those TFs are real [or "gigaflops" how JayzTwoCents knows them] and not another marketing BS.

All I am saying is if Vega works for you and you are fine with it using more power then go ahead and get it. just don't avoid it at all costs.

So, it is ok to buy a semi failed product just to keep the company from bankruptcy? What would stop the company from doing the same thing over and over again knowing that the money will be there every time? I'm not saying that it will be better without AMD on the market, on the contrary. The product was nowhere near the hype AMD created regarding Vega. This is what we need to boycott: the hype that AMD is creating regarding one product and then under delivers with no consequences. Remember the game preordering boycott?
