    - your phone is 1440p - setting it 1080p renders 1080p and upscales it to 1440p - Battery wise, you will see a slight decrease but overall, everything looks better at 1440p, the GPU has to work a bit harder.

    unlike Linus OP is poor,so replacing hardware if it's a scam/ defective will be very hard. That looks good, you can throw in a PCIE 1050 and make it a good work/gaming station.

    Not really, if you know what your doing and don't buy things that are too good to be true, it could be a good place to find cheap parts.

    What is your budget? What do you plan to do with it? Do you have peripherals/ monitor? if Op is going for pure price to performance, whare every dollar counts, Xeons are the best CPU for the task.

    I would replace the cap. Keep in mind unlike high end boards where they have lots of extra caps for power delivery( few dollar won't matter, 3080 sells for a hefty profit), they cheap out on bottom tier cards like the 1050ti. It's natural the manufacturer will cut costs to make the more profit/ sell it the cheapest price they possibly can.

    Nope. Would it be worth the sacrifice? i am thinking about an all around headphone, don't want to annoy people around me.

    What DAC would you suggest? if i go for DT 770 pro. My mobo can handle it, but i want an alternative. would this be better overall? compared to something like Sennheiser HD 569. Thank you for your help, really appreciate it.

    also most people who buy macs are general consumers, who wants features like the apple ecosystem. For devs, Xcode being able to make apps for Iphones and macs are one of the main reason they need OSX, hackintosh is not stable as real OSX. Overall Macs are still a better option for most people who wants a macbook due to - Better support/ warranty - Ecosystem, some people love it. - exclusive apps like FCP, Xcode

    yes, If you want to play with RTX on at native res with good settings. Overall not worth it, i would go for a 144 or 240 hz or 4k, if you play story based games like Red dead.

    Does it have to be a mac? i would wait for ARM macs or get a Ryzen flex 14.

    yeah, first gen always sucks. - they have to make it thin to appeal to masses. so smaller battery, shitter camera due to space limitation. ( folded, it's thick as the 11 pro) - Older SOC due to pandamic (how long it took to design this) - bigger bezel because it's a tablet, formfactor like this needs bezels. - Aspect ratio is due to productivity focus so most apps don't work out well. - dual screen needs a lot of work overall, concept is cool but they needed more time to fully polish it. Hopefully the 2nd gen can be much better. MKBHD was not joking when he talked about how good the hardware is, whoever built this deserves an award.
