I figured I'd share some of my mining results from my new 270x with you guys seeing as it's quite a bit faster than what I've been seeing elsewhere (around 450 - 470 ish) and I'm getting 485kh/s
My card is the Gigabyte GV-R927XOC-2GD with an ever so slight bump of 1150mhz on the core clock and 1500mhz on the mem clock, a pretty below average overclock to be honest. I guess If I keep buying tickets I'll win eventually
I'm running Windows 7 sp1 64bit, and the Catalyst 13.12 whql drivers.

I guess the Idea here is to share with you guys, who have the 270x, my config... so If you're a bit short of ideas as to how to improve your hashrate on this card by all means try this! I was getting only getting around 450kh/s stealing configs from the mining hardware comparison thingy. I wish you luck with your future mining endeavors

Perceptible as in I have perceived (which lead me to measure) an improvement in certain tasks with faster memory.
 
Haven't seen any studies on AMD systems but on Haswell AnandTech | Memory Scaling on Haswell CPU, IGP and dGPU: DDR3-1333 to DDR3-3000 Tested with G.Skill determines that improvements of 5%+ can be realized by faster memory.

not that the chipset is over-rated, but what potentials the chipset can do for the CPU.
the H81 is mainly for locked multiplier CPUs or owners that have no intentions on
modifying the BIOS code to increase power output. they essentially do the same
commands, but the Z87 has a bit more for the enthusiast more so than just a
workstation client.

I'm assuming you mean a 4770k ? And h81 will not have overclocking , it won't be able to have multi card config. And of course less USB 3 ex. It won limit performance of the chip ,

Especially that "homophobic" thread. Linus clearly made the wrong concluding decision. We watch Linus because we like how Linus is in general. If he gives in to every wimp with sand in his vag, it's not going to be what the majority expects of his content. [There was a huge discussion about TotalBiscuit about pretty much that - I watch TB because I want to hear his uncensored oppinion / humor and so on, not him giving virtual BJs to everything he encounters.]

I have recently built an A10 Richland based system, and it absolutely rocks.

The only reason they make Titans and 7990s is to make other models' prices look reasonable :D
