Hey guys, first ever post on LTT forum  Long time LTT viewer though. Been folding for the team for the last week anyhow so may as well sign up. 

I see you're giving out keys for the prizes, I have a bunch of Humble Bundle keys sat in my library on there that I either already have, or flat out do not want. is there any way I could donate them for prizes?

I was wondering if i'm getting maximum performance.. All machines are using Windows 10 with just the GPU running as I was seeing better numbers in the last 24 days of messing around. but I'm seeing the average PPD on each card as follows.

I know this event is nearly over but just interested how other people are running systems out there ie LINUX vs Windows etc or there figures look about right.

I have researched a way to solve one of my issues with two routers. Essentially I need a load balancing router. As i understand, the main function that I want is that if one connection goes out, the other keeps going and the computers don't know any difference. 
 
The other issue with not being able to access the server PC because it is password locked and the person who set it up is not answering emails or messages. I don't want to reset it as that will erase all the settings. I don't know of any way to do it at the moment.

No... I have also experienced it in Edge, but then it worked in Chrome again.

When it comes to folding there are many of us that are running gpus that are easily 4x the value of the entire rest of the system they are connected to let alone running multi GPU setups that aren't even sli compatible. We really aren't worried about "balanced" systems. I get just as excited about the person who found a way to rig up a 2080ti to a Pentium 4 as i do about the guy throwing a 750ti into a 24 core server.

He said he has been really busy the last few days so it might be a bit. He is also working on the tracking info and sheet we are going to use to track stats and info for all of the folders and due to the huge influx of signups I imagine that is a decent amount of work in itself. So just give him some time there is plenty of time before we start the event anyways so don't worry too much.

The increase in folding output after the TL shout out is insane; in the last 48 hours our folding production has doubled.

I was folding a lot a couple of years ago for the Barnacules Nerdgasm team. The problem was that I did it in a small student apartment, in the middle of the summer. It was about 20-25oC outside, and 35-40oC in my apartment, so i know this will work ?

Those usually use unleaded solder, which is a lot trickier than leaded solder. Also, depending on the PCB and what components it has on it, it may be soaking up the heat from your soldering iron and it may take a while for the solder to then get hot enough.
 
Tip: apply fresh, leaded solder liberally on those pins. That'll help them flow faster. Then clean up the mess once it's flowing with solder wick and only then begin to solder new wires in.
