Blood4guts's Achievements

  1. Wow, this would be great for a cool side-of-dorm building projection setup for movies and the likes. Really cool!
  2. I'd love to win this SSD so I can partition it and make some portable VMs. With the high speed connector it would be like a portable internal SSD.
  3. I'd love to enter. I'd use this as a rig that I could bring back home during break that I could just plug into a monitor and have a desktop-like gaming experience.
  4. Stenciling your back plate could make for a more unique look. I don't know about your experience with Plastidip, but I'd suggest just painting the back plate, otherwise you have to go through this:
  5. If you're not dead set for Swiftech you could probably get an ek waterblock
  6. I just went over TweakTown's review of the s340 and it looks like that could work (http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/6814/nzxt-source-s340-mid-tower-chassis-review/index3.html). The front cable management bracket might have to be modified to fit such a large radiator, but it looks like you can just drill out the rivets holding it it place without much fuss. Another place the h140x could go is stacked with the 280 in front. Whatever you have to do, the case looks sweet and the hardware you're getting is awesome.
  7. Hmm it looks like the h140-x won't have an easy time fitting at the top of the case--probably clearance issues with the motherboard (looking at pictures of the case and the s340's compatibility checker led me to believe this). You could, or course, mount it in front, but that wouldn't work with the radiator space you have to work with. If you have the case already, make a mockup of the radiator and see if an adapter would work so you could mount the radiator on the back.
  8. Please have some sort of backup for your drives--even if you're not doing raid 0 you're still going to lose about half of your data with a drive failure.
  9. My favorite item in this giveaway is the Kuhler 1250 because of the unique fan placement and because I do love my Kuhler 620
  10. There was this guy wearing glasses in my recommended subscriptions for months. I subscribed and never regretted it.
  11. My favorite feature is its super-large screen-- something a little different from an iPhone.
  12. I'm also going into college next year for mechanical engineering. I'm hoping to get a surface pro 3 (the $999 version) with a touch cover in addition to my desktop (w/ a student discount from Microsoft that's basically a free touch cover).
  13. Very nice build, can't wait to see it done. The one thing I think you might revisit is the sleeving on the back panel once you've made everything else perfect :P
