Personally given your situation, I'd remove Norton all together. Windows Defender is actually very good now and the less load you have on an older system like that the better off you are.

Wild Tangent is pretty much just malware, I wouldn't just stop it from starting up, I'd remove it.

Hard drive can be a victim as well. I just looked up what you said you had, my apologize I should have done that before, and now realize what you're working with.

Your laptop is definitely outdated and is very slow according to reviews. I don't think upgrading windows will improve your state. In fact, I think it'll make your speeds worse. I don't know what your budget looks like but I recommend getting something of higher spec (I recommend something in the $500-1000 range for laptops if it's just for work). Your laptop you have now just isn't worth the hassle anymore.

And the one announced last year from Dell never materialized. They don't talk about it anymore.

IPS : Glow and BLB issues
TN : Terrible colour gamut, vertical gamma shift issue and poor viewing angles
VA : Too bright, colour quality can't be IPS and viewing angles not good

I was looking for articles about this and last thing I read is that Samsung built or already building a new facility/ies to cover the shortage and people were expecting decrease in price start from November/December which is not happening, some people are expecting it in March and some people say it will be gradual so to reach same prices as before, maybe a year and since DRAM 5 is on the way am not even sure we'll see a decrease in DRAM 3, the suggestion is buy and don't wait, who knows really.

Thank you for the info, I was looking at the settings and explanation from startpage and I am impressed, a lot of nice features and it saves settings with no email or signing in but having the same results as google is not interesting to me, google filters a lot of pages, I want more results not less.

I thought encrypted google had something with more secure connection but it seems to be the same as https google except for more control on leaking info to http sites or going to http ads, still good to know, thanks again

StartPage is just another private search engine just like DuckDuckGo, but it gives similar results like Google. (I personally like this one, and has built-in proxy as well, but it's slower to load compared to both DuckDuckGo and Google)
DuckDuckGo always give different results to me but it's more consistent, what you do on the internet doesn't really affect the next search result.
Sometimes I just use Google, but using this URL (https://encrypted.google.com/).
I personally use DuckDuckGo mainly because it has !Bang so I can access sites quicker like for example I want to open YouTube I can just type !yt *name of video* and it will directly go to YouTube with the name of the video searched already.
I still can't say what's the best one, that's why I still compare search results from these three.

The results from StartPage and Google are similar, but not for DuckDuckGo.

AFAIK they only switch places when there's major updates. So one solution is to make updates manual. Also have sorting style set to custom.

I can't really say for sure, no idea where you're at or what the state of affairs is in retail or e-tail for your area. Depending on your area you may have cheaper options from other regions than the US.

Depends on the retailer. It accumulates coupon and promo codes, but it also tracks price histories and cross references listings. So it may tell you that it has been cheaper on Amazon so you should wait for the better price, or it may say that Newegg has it at a better price than Amazon, or it may say some third party site has a coupon code right now that beats the pants off of either big name retailer. All depends

I think Honey gets a kickback from the retailer when you use them to get the discounts and the promo codes for signing up give the person you signed up through a portion of the kickback. Like the affiliate links.

And i am also Not sure if that is a mousepad though.
I have my G402 lying around somewhere in my room and i've not using it for a long time after i upgraded to Castor.
I would give it to you if u lives around here
    I am serious.

That probably wont happen unless a lot of people really demand it and by a lot i mean at least 1 million.

I mentioned it but forgot to say why I did, beside being heavy, missing feet, it's not bad when you fix the sensitivity, I felt a lot of control, but the laser mouse is light and flies compared to it but flies recklessly, the ball does not work well with extreme speeds, you literally lift it a little from the surface which doesn't register movement, this means working with some lift is needed so zero jitter on lift is important I guess, the laser is 10.4cm x 5-6cm not that tiny?

Here they are, now the mouse pad is probably the real granddaddy lol

Those old mouse with BALLS? that think is obsolete
I still remember using it when i was in junior high in 2010 at school in our computer LAB.
There is this 486 computer still working on the corner with its buckling springs model M keyboard and Ibm mouse with a trackball in it.

Well only buy Laser mouse if u want to use it at any surface that is the only pros of laser sensor compared to optical.
65Grams? that is pretty light i bet its a small compact mouse.

Owhh that is the lift off distance.
Yes the PWM3310 implementation on the G1 is not perfect but i am sure people wont lift their mouse that high right?

Well the choice is yours AM010 is a good sensor for casual fps player and daily use.

RAM will help, an SSD will help too. I suggest 8GB RAM as a starting point now a days, but if you want a PC thats blazing put aside a little money for an SSD. They still aren't cheap but they are getting darn affordable.

Watch at 7:22, he puts it on 2 stacks of CDs and it jitters, my current mouse is even worse, first time it jittered it was on the the surface and not elevated so the computer screen turned on from sleep, I thought someone hacked my PC

I am afraid the difference with sensor will be minimal (taking into account my crappy hands/nerves) and nothing compared to using a bad mouse pad lol

    What? really?
I think he didnt though he just said it will spin out if u tilt and slam the mouse.
I'll rewatch his review on the G1 again.
Well its $30 mouse with 3360 so dont expect sturdy build quality If u want a sturdy build quality but inferior sensor then maybe G402 would be a better choice after all AM010 is not that bad.

    Dont praise me.

rocketjumpninja is the one who mentioned jitter, an amazon reviewer mentioned jitter in clutch, even this one (Revel) few mentioned rattle, it won't be perfect at 25 dollars, I don't need buttons just hope I don't get a defective one.

Thank you for the help Hiya!

I dont know about the other Fnatic mouse but the G1 doesnt have a jitter problem.
Have u seen the review by rocketjumpninja on that mouse?
PWM3310 is indeed have an acceleration but its consistent and hardly noticeable unlike Most laser sensor.
Nixeus Revel is much better than G402 but it lack of extra button only 2 on the side.
It use PWM3360 sensor which one of the best optical sensor with no acceleration,it use omron switches and has decent build quality,Suited for all grip style for medium to small hands.
Its a great budget mouse. i dont think u can find a mouse for $30 with 3360 sensor if u can let me know.
I'd choose that over G402 any day of the week.
