biascoblix got a reaction from LollerManiac in Looking to upgrade some components in my PC. Need some help.
Thanks for board suggestions. I've seen one that are more at the 300 400 mark which is really high for me. I'll check out the one you mentioned.
Well, I rarely have everything under load. When I'm gaming, I'm using a single card. If I'm doing something CPU heavy, usually again I'm not using any of the GPUs.
Although when both of the GPUs are under 100% load with the CPU getting taxed as well, I've had a few full shutdowns so the PSU is probably getting squeezed hard here. That's why I'm changing it for the 850w when it eventually arrives.

biascoblix reacted to Damascus in Is my H80i dead ? If so, alternative ?
the pump on the new one will be nearly identical in power consumption and fans are basically nothing when it comes to power consumption.

Sounds like a dead / dying pump.
If it's not covered under warranty, then yeah, you need to buy a new one. Nepton 280L seems good, but make sure your case supports it. (most do, but just to be sure.)

Sure, go for it. Should keep that CPU nice and cool

Looks like that's what im gonna be doing. Thanks
I have the H440 from NZXT. It can handle 140mm radiators at the top and the front according to the manual. So i guess that should be fine.
I should not be bothered with the increase in power consumption, right ? I have a 750W power supply. That should be able to handle that ?

I guess so, most forums now are responsive, and they adapt pretty well to different screen sizes.

biascoblix reacted to ALwin in Will that MIC/Stand combo work for me ?
Know that most mics come with a small mount which fits that particular mic, the mount can be screwed on to any mic stand so that you don't have to worry about whether a mic will fit on the stand or not. Most usually look like this.

biascoblix reacted to Phaewryn in Recommend a mouse and a keyboard
Yeah, all my partners have always hated using my computer because of that trackball. Everyone's different, hands come in all shapes and sizes, and such. If you've been using $10 cheapos, basically any decent Logitech is going to be a luxury experience.

i think the M510 well do just fine, it's a best seller on amazon.

Okay, WTF GOOGLE !!
My system is 64bit... The 64bit version is the one having issues while the 32bit version is working just fine.. WAAT !!

biascoblix reacted to vanished in Chrome Only works in -no sandbox mode
In most programs it would allow it to access more than 4 gb of ram, which could be a big deal but because of how chrome is designed where every tab is its own process, I'm not sure it would matter.

Could you try a different bit one? Like 32 if you've been using 64 and 64 if you were using 32. Check which one you have now before trying a different one; it may not be the one you think. -

that's sound pretty good...
I'm gonna go ahead and buy the " G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) "
and install them with the " G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) " one that i have here...
both of them are quad channel kits, and they are identical in specs...
thank you very much for your fast replies...
