  1. Exactly - I couldnt live with myself by selling it on eBay to have them come back a few days/months later and say listen I have this problem..
  2. Will try underclocking it when I get back from work - it is a factory overclocked version. I still cant believe they can take a card for 4 weeks and fail to have the problem show at all. No unfortunately - He told me to keep the toaster out of his system
  3. Problem: Within the last 4 months (Under 9 month old card) I have had artifacting and crashing to blue screen. I see horizontal lines that flicker all over the screen and then the driver crashes repeatedly then recovers. This can occur after 5 mins or even start after a solid 2 hours. The problems have been in game, desktop idle, browsing the web etc. I have come back to my computer and its restarted itself after (I assume blue screen) crashing whilst I’m away. I have a consistent track record now for having my display driver crash mid task… No other parts seem to be having any problems that I have seen. Steps Taken: I used "Display Driver Uninstaller" to clean up the drivers then tried re-installing the drivers again, I updated the BIOS on my motherboard, and finally this month swapped the card with a friends. I swapped my card with his GTX 780 (reference card) and the computer runs fine and smooth. I have tried all the different cable connection types to my monitor. Tried re-seating the GPU. Tried re-plugging in the power connectors. Drivers have been re-installed in both Stable and Beta versions from AMD. Returned to Store: RA’d the card - PCCaseGear received the card and immediately sent it across to the Manufacturer for testing. (I assume they never tested it themselves) Card is returned 4 weeks later…including no report and no apparent problems. Manufactures Response: No Report - Apparently all clear on their side of things… - Full Build List: CPU - i7 4770K Motherboard - MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard RAM - G. Skill Sniper 16GB (4x4GB) GPU - Gigabyte Radeon R9 290 OC 4GB Windforce Edition Case - BitFenix Ghost Silent Tower Case Black Case Fans - Noctua NF-F12 (Front, Top, Base, Back) Storage - Samsung EVO 120GB + Seagate Barracuda 2TB x 2 PSU - Corsair RM-850 Display(s) - AOC 24" 144hz Cooler - Corsair Hydro Series H100i - If anyone can help with tips to troubleshoot this problem I would be more then greatful! Its literally ruining any ability to use it. Pretty desperate now so I’m trying not to get the urge to just buy a new GPU and hope its the problem child.. Posted to Reddit Tech Support also but no help as far.. http://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/2vczr8/gpu_flickerbsod_manufacture_says_cards_fine/
  4. God I just skimmed down this thread and laughed as soon as I saw this.. And your from Sydney! Ma Brother!
  5. Amazing, outstanding cooler setup and if your into clear sided cases its an absolutely beast looking card. I have a fairly warm room and at the peak of the aussie summer it was doing just fine and breezy under heavy loads in Metro
  6. Just had to RMA my R9 290 Windforce Edition today due to flicking artifacts all over the joint no matter what PC it went into.. Was a great card for 8 months, hopefully you get a good one. Their very "cool" cards.
  7. Basically they have the choice to reject based on the app looking straight out of the box ugly. IE. they haven't had a design team look into it and its basically an ugly Dev Art style App.
  8. If its running software and utilising a processor people are going to test it. Looks like pretty horrible battery life though.. Will not buy one of these "Tier One" watches until the battery life is on par or close to what my Pebble can do.
  9. I swear that is the biggest Eff up on there behalf. They should of waited until they had the technology assets to create a full circular watch display. Ruins the look completely its like a monitor with a fat bezel thats uneven!
  10. God, people like Summit are going to get wrecked on this playing music over the background!
  11. So its released in the countries where their not going to infringe on the IP of the other Bolt App? - https://bolt.co/
  12. Cant complain about extra meat to score against?
  13. Dont worry modders will find the hidden MAGIC and release it for the world of PC gamers..
  14. I feel it will just fill the gap between the development of the next war setting battlefield title and the development of battlefront. Having two development companies on the battlefield schedule will be good for the end users I rekon.
