  1. That is seriously F*cked up doing that to that 10yr old kid. Someone invite "FaZe Noodlz" here so we can show him some love. Me too. Is this the real FaZe Noodlz channel? It says he last made a YT video 5mo ago, Apr. 18, 2015.
  2. Video Request #1:  [samsung Galaxy Note 5 VS Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus] or [samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (9.7") VS Samsung Galaxy Note/Tab Pro (12.2")] (I currently have an SGS5 and want to upgrade my phone as well as buy a 2nd device (tablet) to transfer non-essentials to.) --- Video Request #2:  What are the top 10/20 android apps for your phone? (games excluded) (I am curious what other people use their phones for & what the best apps are out there, excluding games & messaging) --- Video Request #3:  Part 1) Are there any ways to install 'OPP APS' again to my android phone to toggle on/off app permissions? Do I have to download a 3rd party app and learn how to root my phone? Any suggestions on what is the best way? Part 2) Are there any good android emulators to run my (game) apps on my desktop computer (Windows 7) Would you recommend Bluestacks, Andy, or ? Thanks! --- Video Request #4:  Linus pimping out his Honda. (by Nicky V Customs) (or fixing that leak by the pedals finally) Pimp my Ride: --- Video Request #5:  Scrapyard Wars #4+ (once a month, with guest stars: (NCIX: Esther, Keys, Jack, Julia), & other YouTubers) or More "Moving Vlogs" --- I found that I have a high idle-drain on my phone that drains my battery fast because I have a lot of apps that auto-load at startup. So I am going to use a 2nd device (tablet) to move my non-essential apps (games) & video/movies also so they are easier to view. Currently using Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android OS 5.1.1 (upgraded i think from 4.4?, Waiting on  Marshmellow 6.0 next week)
  3. I noticed that battery life dies faster if you have more installed apps that auto-start. High Idle drain is a problem if you have lots of utilities or virus scanners that constantly watch your device. When I first got my smartphone I downloaded and installed about a dozen virus scanners to test them all out, since then I've deleted most of them and noticed that my idle drain is lower and the battery life lasts a lot longer. For this reason I am going to be using an android tablet for all of my apps that are not necessary on my android phone. I have a question tho, is there a way to get 'APP OPS' for Android 5.1.1 Lollipop so I can toggle on/off application permissions? (I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android Lollipop 5.1.1, waiting on Marshmellow 6.0 next week.) I understand that App Ops used to be pre-installed, but is no longer unless you download an app & root your phone? --- Video Request: Will Linus be doing a review comparing the: [samsung Galaxy Note 5 VS Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus] or [samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (9.7") VS Samsung Galaxy Note/Tab Pro (12.2")]
  4. I found some cool videos about how to increase battery & storage for SGN5 phones & wanted to share them. External Memory SD card reader for phone: External Memory USB storage: External Storage w/ Micro SD
  5. If you are serious about being a software engineer, I suggest a Multi-Boot setup so you can be more productive no matter what job task you are working on, you will always be prepared. Example: If you were designing a web page, and you want to see if your 'frames' look good on different browsers & different resolutions, etc It's also possible to triple boot: iOS, Windows & Linux by using multi 'boot loaders' like Xboot, etc. (Boot Loader's can be installed directly on HDD or USB flash drive's) You can also run a 'VIRTUAL MACHINE' to run Linux from a USB drive without installing it on your HDD. If you want to do programming, what about: 1. Android OS 2. Linux Kernel Programming 3. Linux Shell Scripting 4. Assembly Code 5. C++ 6. PERL With people all around the world owning smartphones, even at young ages, Android programming has a good future ahead. 'BLUESTACKS' & 'Andy' are emulators for running Android OS app's on Windows if you need that. I hope this is helpful, I posted a few YouTube video links below as 'how to' tutorials to get you started. --- NCIX Linus: Multi-Boot SSD + HDD LinusTechTips NCIX Tech Tips Multi-boot ISO's on 1 USB How to dual boot Windows 10 & Linux Mint Windows 10 vs Linux Mint Linux (Ubuntu vs Mint) Android Programming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzCDyNqRzHU Android OS emulator for Windows: (Bluestacks vs Andy) by: Android Authority

    Feminism...

He was just trolling. I'm moving to the other thread, ty for the link.^^
  7. Its the OPPRESSION OLYMPICS! It should be 'EQUALITY' not 'FEMINISM' that women fight for. Modern day 'FEMINISTS' in the USA, do not fight for EQUALITY, it's Misandry. Feminism is supposed to be for women's equality, but what happens when women have equality already in USA? Women are actually the gender that is more 'privileged'. They should focus their complaints at countries that actually are oppressing women.

  10. New DDoS attack uses smartphone browsers to flood site with 4.5bn requests Researchers have found that smartphone browsers can deliver a powerful flooding attack. --- Researchers suspect a mobile advertising network has been used to point hundreds of thousands of smartphone browsers at a website with the aim of knocking it offline. According to distributed denial-of-service protection service CloudFlare, one customer's site recently came under fire from 4.5 billion page requests during a few hours, mostly from smartphone browsers on Chinese IP addresses. As CloudFlare's Marek Majkowski notes, browser-based 'Layer 7' flood attacks have been viewed as a theoretical threat for several years, but haven't become a reality due to difficulties in efficiently distributing malicious JavaScript to force a large number of browsers to make HTTP requests to a targeted site. Security researchers have previously suggested web ads as an efficient way to distribute malicious JavaScript. Analysing the log files, Majkowski found the smartphone browser attack peaked at over 275,000 HTTP requests per second, with 80 percent coming from mobile devices and 98 percent from a Chinese IP address. The logs also reveal mobile versions of Safari, Chrome, Xiaomi's MIUI browser, and Tencent's QQBrowser. "Strings like 'iThunder' might indicate the request came from a mobile app. Others like 'MetaSr', 'F1Browser', 'QQBrowser', '2345Explorer', and 'UCBrowser' point towards browsers or browser apps popular in China," Majkowski said. Majkowski speculates that the attack was made possible by an ad network, and believes the reason so many mobile browsers visited the attack page hosting the malicious JavaScript was due to ads shown in iframes, either in mobile apps or mobile browsers. "The user was served an attack page containing a malicious JavaScript which launched a flood of XHR requests against CloudFlare servers," explained Majkowski. The attack site itself hosting the malicious JavaScript included instructions to launch an XHR in a loop. http://www.zdnet.com/article/new-ddos-attack-uses-smartphone-browsers-to-flood-site-with-4-5bn-requests/ (Copy & pasted for those who don't trust external links) <_<
  11. That only protects data that you send & recieve on your network? What about if you have file sharing on your C:\ on multiple computers? I was not aware they recently added or already had AES encryption. In the video I linked (earlier post), the neighbor was able to view the folders & files, just like it was his own computer. I am assuming that he could copy them to his own computer and view them, I don't know if he had all permissions tho.
  12. It's totally 100% legal for 12hrs, indoors, outdoors, by friends, family, strangers. I hope your parents aren't mad at you about something, or your siblings... how could someone sleep at night during this? I would be so tired staying up all night, I would sleep the rest of the next day, no work, hopefully its a national holiday to "clean up". (please view my earlier post with video links) PS: There are certain 'A' list people that are exempt of the Purge, like govermental figureheads, etc.
  13. I sure hope you have a bank vault to hide in for 12 to 24hrs, & call in sick for work the next day. If this ever became legal, I would move to another country the very next day. The Purge: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Purge
  14. If its in your yard & spying on you (hovering, not moving, with a camera on), can you use a net to catch it, then burn it with fire to melt it into a slab of plastic, then throw it away? Maybe the issue with using a shotgun is the danger it poses to nearby civilians, obviously you want to use bird/buck-shot not slugs. A high powered watergun also sounds like a good idea, I've also heard of jammers (jamming devices), anti-drones, etc. Here's a fun video just for lulz... Birdshot will do fine most of the time, except against this drone.
  15. Now that you got her into gaming, you have a new common interest and more to talk about & do together.^^ By the sound of the other posts on here, its a little high, but you can check for yourself at the link I provided. (prev post) In a way tho, its still 'worth' it since it provides you hours of entertainment for "free" & time together with your g/f at home.
