For playing music 44100 @16bit is all you need. Rest is good for marketing purposes mostly and can even makes your sound worse in some cases.

I personally use an Apple TV as I'm basically allergic to Google products so I can't say anything useful from personal experience  

Can't find anything on that model at all on LG's website. Seems like you're SOL. It's likely some budget model that's dumped on the market as is.

it has its own built in soundcard that works over usb so unless there is a 3.5mm out on the yeti the answer is no

I think I'll just sell the cards and game codes , make %200-%300 profit and figure out WTH I've done wrong with my life.

Sell off one card if you want to, a single RX 580 would be sufficient for most games at 1080P. Two RX 580 in CF would be good for max ingame at 1080P if the VRAM is sufficient, I certainly had no problem maxing or near maxing out all the games I had playing on my 2x R9 290X 4GB rig at 3440x1440.
 
I was pondering about getting 2x RX 580 8GB in CF mode, but decided against it as my case airflow isn't as good as I'd have liked. I decided on a RX VEGA 64 instead, a single card isn't hampered by nerfed gaming performance should the game 'dislike' CF.

Unless you know that all the games and programs you'll be playing/using with the GPUs work well with SLI, don't bother with it.

You both just managed to voice my concerns. 
I bought the cards in Australia , where I'm from it's marked up by heaps. Wondering if I'm better off saving them for resell value or just deal with it.

I'm with @Skullbunny here, why buy used at all on something like a mouse. You don't know how true e-bay listings are and also if you buy new, you don't have to worry about previous germs on the used mouse. 

Decisions were made, purchases happened.

Avoid MSI GL series. N870 and Dell 7577 also have their own issues.

You missed out some options:
1. N950TP (CFL-H desktop, i5 8400+1070)
2. P950EP (CFL-H) - thin and light
3. Dell G5 (CFL-H) - entry level IPS (FHD)
4. Alienware 13 (7700HQ+1060, on sale)
5. Dell G3 (CFL-H) - entry level IPS, OKish cooling (need undervolting, repaste and optional modding)
6. Dell Vostro 7570 (Inspiron 7577, 7700HQ+1060MQ)
7. Lenovo Y720 - entry level IPS, may need repaste, quite bulky
8. N850/870EP6 (CFL-H) - OKish overall quality, mediocre cooling (need undervolting, repaste and some modding)
 
I suggest upgrade RAM/storage yourself, usually cheaper. Max-Q 1060 usually can be tuned to match a regular 1060N. Every laptop needs undervolting IMO

First of all.. do you NEED a soundcard?

It wouldnt necessarily make anything better, the MSI Z series have really amazing on board sound processing that can even drive pretty demanding high impedance audiophile grade gear

Yes, buy quality headphones/speakers. Soundcard is the last thing u want to invest in.

Try vmoda cables, but really anything with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm will work.
