Try and make a computer out of a potato.
Or you could see how clock speed affects computer performance, your teacher would most likely have no idea what you are talking about and give you an A.

madscientist56 reacted to UltraNeonGaming in Will this Ram Fit
@niofalpha Yes it will fit, but do you really need dominator platinums? They are insanely overkill for 90% of people.
I think you can save tons of money buy getting other options for corsair or any other memory brand, You probably are building a budget minded system if you are getting a 212 Evo, don't get dominator platinums, get the Corsair Vengeance Pro or Hyperx Fury or Hyperx Savage (Better than Fury about as good as the Vengeance Pro)

madscientist56 reacted to hodge22 in Linus' latest video's animations (How much ram do you need)
Great video again Linus and team! But am I the only one that noticed all the smooth transitions between graphs as opposed to just flashing them on the screen? I found this way to be far more appealing and would love to see it in more videos. It felt far more proffesional and well done as opposed to flashing the benchmarks on the screen like in some other videos. Love to hear what you all think and if anybody else agree or disagree?

Here's a quick one,
So in U.S. History today we were studying businesses in the 1920's and my teacher was trying to think of examples of Oligopoly's, or markets dominated by a small number of large companies, I gave the example of the operating system market because i think its just Windows, osx, linux, and solaris (which might be a type of linux). Then the teacher, who was in his mid thirties by the way, gave the example the cell phone market listing 2 companies apple, and "galaxy", I said what about htc? or microsoft? he says he never heard of htc and thought microsoft just made tablets, as the rest of the class stares at me like I'm stupid or something. I was surprised to say the least.

wow, he's missed a lot of companies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mobile_phone_makers_by_country
While they aren't specifically stated as smartphone makers, they more than likely do, if they're still around today
