Meanwhile in Canada ;

 

Ontario provincial police received a court order to breakup protests, so to help ease tension, they brought maple syrup as a gift to the protesters.

 

I'm not kidding, this totally happened this week ;

    Apparently it was a limited time offer, there are new protests, but no maple syrup gifts from the OPP ?
