my wife keeps sending me beauty products to buy on Amazon (I have prime) ... my suggestions are slowly switching from RAM, cases and cooling PC products to face creams and beauty masks
-
is she lowkey suggesting that you're getting ugly?
-
Nah, I think it's because I just spent over $800 to upgrade my PC to 8th Gen, so it looks like she's trying to tie my spending!

should there be secrets?
There should be secrets. Some things, i.e. my purchases (if you follow my updates you'll know what I'm talking about), I would hide from my wife if they're entirely personal and non-destructive. Other things, i.e. buying a motorcycle, are passed by her before or after doing research to see how she feels about it.
Trust also means allowing the other to hold secrets.
-
I don't know, personally I don't have a problem with that.
She knows my email passwords and a few other accounts (including Amazon). I personally have nothing to hide from here (even trivial purchases). But it's the same on my side, I also have access to her accounts and emails but I trust her and I don't see why I would go and pry in her things.

When I look at something on Amazon, my mom will usually get an ad somewhere online for the same product.
Because of that, I refuse to search for certain things through Amazon.
She literally saw this today.
Actually, scratch that. It's a lewd Neptunia figurine.
Not sure if I should link it or not.
Anyway, yeah.
Awkward
SpoilerAnd yes, she did text me about it.

It's alright. I was looking at a few mannequins for costume making and... let's just say they were mannequins with a few more... "realistic" features...
-
@ARikozuM Umm, did you reply to the right status update?
-
Yes, I did. Letting you know some of my Amazon blunders. Sara likes making costumes and asked me to buy a mannequin. Unfortunately, what flooded my "recommendations" were "mannequins"...

And thus, @wkdpaul put the book down and set it to the flame.

Maybe thinking about "my mom seeing my search history" lit his fire? The world is a vast place, after all.
