Bloody Spirit Halloween shops popping up everywhere

Seriously, what Financial Hibernation shelter do they crawl under for the other 10 months of the year? How they manage to stay in business is more pondered than Arby's. 

@TVwazhere Maybe they sell illegal fireworks year around. I'm just saying, they're a popular purchase for any occasion not just Halloween.  

Story time:

We have a chain around here called I Love NY Pizza. Me and my sister were driving by one one day and she turns to me and says "How the FUCK do they stay open? We've been here for over 10 years and I've never once seen anyone get pizza from there?????? How are they still open? Where are they getting their money?"

"Well [sister], they're franchised so I mean there might be more successful locations than others..."

"No. You know what I think? It's a front for the Mafia"

".... The Mafia? What, do you think they just have a pizza oven and glass racks for displays, and then in the back are six guys in pinstriped tux's smoking cigars, playing poker with hand guns in their back pocket?"

"Yes. Exactly"

"Okay well next time we want pizza we will get it from there"

*Two weeks passes, we order pizza form there and we go in to pick it up, just so we can see what's inside.*

*Older Man with silver hair and European accent is the only one there doing a majority of the work besides a teenager with slicked back jet black hair*

*Me whispering to my sister* "Okay you may be onto something here"

I think some open businesses to become citizens, seen lots of restaurants change names but still fling same food genre. It is probably how they can bring in their entire extended family.

Other times its a front business to launder money as rent is not cheap!

I often wonder how places stay open with crap food, example a pizza place started off as typical pizza, but then it was never busy so I asked the same Q why are they open. They probably got a 5 year lease, and most people dont want to diss big corporations with lots of rentals so they bite the bullet. This pizza joint however switched it up and started making east indian food alongside their usual pizza place offerings.
