I Get the Dislike of him posting a specific video about it on LTT YT Channel just Tweeting or Wan Show announcement is enough. Though have you tried to watch the video on vessel i was just able to for free since vessel allows you to watch videos there but not until after the early access Period. So its not actually behind a paywall anymore then his current videos Which is also confusing. my end opinion is it is not one of the 3 main channels that the content was from and is not a channel subdivision of Linus's its just him being featured on someone's channel basically so its far enough away from his promise in my book

i Don't get the Vessel nerdSports and the huge amount of negative comments people have about it. It is not something linus was planing on doing or would have done. Vessel set it up paid for it and is going to use other people/ Video creators besides linustechtips team aswell cause its there series made by vessel they were just the first to be featured. its not like linus started a 4th Vessel only channel.

The government probably wouldn't bail them out somebody would buy them. But all big buyouts of stuff like that has to be approved like ATT tried to buy tmobile a few years back for around 38 billion they both agreed on the price but the government decided it would make the carriers too much of an monopoly if they passed it so it was not aloud.

Im in the business world to an extent but not tech wise. But them getting 300 Million of dollars in revenue is not the same as them getting 300million of cash especially buying bulk and making a deal like that it will most likely be much less profitable then selling 300 million dollars of Consumer GPUs. something like this is what you use to manage overhead and keep going and cash in the profits on more lucrative deals. Though no one knows what they will make from this deal yet im sure there actual profit will be nothing compared to the debt there in quick google shows they pay 180million on intrest alone each year to debt but any profit helps. Ive seen some take deals at cost when there failing Just so they stay alive to live another day just getting by with overhead paid no profit AMD can be doing this or they could be making 150 Million no idea yet.

I Think the General Rumor is that it will be based off the PS4 so that the hardware is compatible and will run the same OS so all games will play on both. But they are suppose to create a profile called Neo Mode same thing as saying very high vs medium on PC same game but two different graphical settings. which older games do not have and ones in development so all older games will not see improvement but maybe a Frame rate increase??TBD unless specifically developed for the PS4.5 and ps4 will run the game identically

Cricket will always be 8 Mbps capped at the start where T mobiles unlimited data plan (not one of the 6gb lte and unlimited 2g after that it) is full speed until 25GB. Then they might if your on a network that is overloaded at the current time pick you to be slower then someone who isnt over there cap. In my experience this has been unnoticeable i use to Game,stream,torrent Ect over LTE and use up to 150GB a month. I travel all over my tristate area for my job so i have been in many areas and towers and they don't seem to servery cap you in my experience it was Never under 8Mbps and i would think someone hitting 5 times the 25GB limit is on the higher up list to Slow down but my torrents and downloads were still going in excess of 30Mbps easily. I use to see speeds of up to 70Mbps but average was 25Mbps. Though it is a little less clear what they will do unlike Cricket being Straight forward Unlimited LTE 8Mbps i give them credit just throwing all info out there no ifs and buts. ( If that is how it works out) Edit: Read the actual Article and Pricing is aggressive but No tethering at all? Tmobile you get 14GB full Speed tethering and this Quote would worry me in the future "Cricket may consider reasonable network management practices." I Live in the northeast NYC,NJ,PA,CT, long island area where T mobile is actually a good carrier when i go further away they seem to be okay nothing great but they seem to advertise this has changed and they cover a lot more then in my past experiences has shown but its been over a year since my last bad experience with service.

i don't think they'll go full on dedicated GPU either it most likely will be a custom designed APU. The 970 price was an example of how a semi decent price point can be reached at least in the US where since Pricing of hardware is much cheaper we don't learn punctuation and just mindlessly stare at the tv/computer while downing a supersized meal from McDonalds Good Old USA

I do agree its more likely that its a regular refresh with small differences maybe 4k blurays and upscaled games being high on the possible list but on the other hand PS4 is pretty weak for VR and 4k 30fps at the same settings ps4 plays 1080p games at is no where near 1500 dollars at all... a 970 and 390 which can go for 250 if your looking for a deal can do this and obviously Sony would buy it cheaper but on top of that it would probably be based off the new GPUs coming out and changing resolution for 1080p to 4k doesnt affect CPU usage much so the rest of the system cost shouldn't be crazy more either also it being a few years since the last CPU they should be able to get more power for same price

With graphic cards out now quadrupling a PS4 Graphics card isn't hard but it will be more then the 399 the ps4 launched at i could see them going for like $600 ish they really just need a 970/390 maybe a little more to run 4k at high 30fps or close to the settings ps4 runs games at in 1080p might be using something custom from AMDs new line or nividias new line that would help costs heat and wattage also they could take a loss on the console by a bit as the PS4 and Xbox one were the some of the first consoles they actually didnt straight up loose a good sum on

I would say those looking to buy used probably look for deals on new as well and you can find some good prices on new ones the MSRP is 350 and almost always comes with a 40-60 dollar game. Jet.com yesterday had a new xbox one at 269.99 with GOW UE. I paid back in September 309 no tax or shipping from monoprice and during christmas it was $299 for a good while at like every retailer. i would think around 200 would be fair but obviously selling always varys depending on how much you want to get rid of it and how much the buyer wants it at the negotation time i would say on the lower side 175ish high side 225

in the US the standard plan allows for 2 streams at the same time but you can upgrade and i think some regions they were offereing slightly cheaper plans with single but you should be able too and to keep track of where you both left off i would set up 2 profiles

Every product ive bough from anker has been good quality at a great price compared to others there not the cheapest brand but they seem to only sell decent stuff unlike some of the questionable lower priced items by others. There my goto for anything battery related.

Yeah but it does have a 3800mah battery you know so it gets you through the day... and its not meant for someone who wants a slim slick phone its meant for thoes that buy otter box for there phones and such thick and heavy cases but then you dont get the nice sized battery with it

that was the xbox 360 and you cant directly compare clocks like that from years apart and different architectures it does not work like that the Xeon 1231 v1-3 is way more powerful then the 360 processor. Same reason an 4 core i5 6600k at 4GHZ is not slower then a AMD 8350 8 Core at 5GHZ

For someone with 400+ Posts on a Tech forum i would of expected a much better understanding on why you cant build your own xbox and why you cant install full windows on one Realistically its not something you can spend a week or two and do. There's a reason people build emulators and not just run the systems OS. but in some fairness these are the closest to PC any consoles have really been but still if it was easy as copying the HDD and turning the computer on you defiantly would of seen some news on this. Microsoft would not make it that easy due to being scared of priated games and many other reasons console makers want there systems locked down

They actually have a 4 lines 10gb Each running right now so a total of 40GB for $120 dollars and they have 4 Lines Unlimited data for $150 but these are call in and limited time promo they arent saying when they will stop offering them but in the past they have kept deals like this around for at least a month They used to have the family deal of 4 phones 2.5GB each for just 100 a month also but i dont this that one is running right now.

@Derpologist With Linus's Code my account says it expires in March and thats around the Time Vessel launched publicly from quickly googling it. so the year is not up yet but will be soon i just clicked account-settings and it listed that in my vessel account btw.

If you signed up with linus around the start of when he started uploading to vessel you got a free year subscription i still have my free one i think its only a few more months left though

Whenever my Computer gets a bunch of installs and files i have no use for and i just feel its Cluttered so i start fresh guess its like spring cleaning but other then personal preference you only need to if you have an actual problem with the current install.

i Just said that ios/iphone updates is a reason id recommend them but the case is how many people buy a flagship phone to use it for 6 years. Honestly buying 4-5 $250 dollar phones every 2 years would get you a much better experience overall even a longer time span then the iphone for 6 years could. and if you wanted to get 3 $400 ones... if you were to go for the 6 year mark he was talking about $1300 for 6 years

Instead of Bricking the Entire Phone they could just Stop all features associated with it............ and android is simple to use no one said you had to flash 80 different roms and try em all out. my 75 year old grandma uses a Note 4 and doesn't find it confusing. The whole argument that Either os is harder to use is such a old BS both are very easy. But if your planing on keeping your phone for 6 years which is very specific use yes IOS updates will keep you going longer security and such updates and i would recommend an iphone but what % of users do this .01%? very niche of a client i dont know anyone who uses a 6 year old phone and espically one complaining about how much time is wasted on android os which is absurd but then says they want to use a 6 year old Iphone 3gs go load a few webpages and apps and then do it on a current android or iphone and see how much time is being wasted using obsolet products LTE wasn't even a thing then.
