  1. Ebay, a store with 97% positive feedback at nearly 1000 sales. I've always preferred having a physical copy of software when available. I'm pretty sure it was shrink-wrapped? Regardless, the factory seals and scratch-off were still intact. OEM, the factory seals and scratch-off were still intact.
  2. I recently bought an unopened Windows 10 instillation DVD but when I went to use it, the activation failed because the key was supposedly already used on another system. I have tried both the online and phone support for Microsoft and neither has been any help. The phone support, in particular, just hangs up on me when it can't figure out a solution rather than offering to talk to a representative. I'm convinced there's not a single human left outside of the C-suite.
  3. WOOOO!!!! Show some love to the devs and mods that have worked on this lovable disaster over the past decade.
  4. His money, yes. However announcing it to the world before doing it could land him in some hot water.
  5. USB4 is expected to come out between Q3 2020 and Q1 2021 with supported phones hopefully arriving in time for the holidays. As if having a USB4/Thunderbolt 3 hybrid port with a sturdier connector design and a huge leap in data speeds wasn't great enough, it will now also support DisplayPort 2.0 at 16K 60Hz; 80Gb/s. 6. If that was the case, how the hell did Linus get Yavone? He's short and pale as a ghost with bad hair and a bank account that seemingly just keeps up with the expenses at his business.
  7. I have a feeling it was a combination of traveling with them (often times just draped around my neck) and over-flexing them to put them on. I had a few with metal bands too, but the plastic would crack where the bands are attached.
  8. I just figured Logitech used their RomerG on all of their mechanical keyboards. I've the 910 and love it.
  9. AVC is not the same program as handbrake.
  10. The company went bankrupt, but there are a few new pairs still floating around. the spring steel wires that connect them are VERY well padded and are fairly flexible. The adjustment for the ear cup position can also help looses it a bit. The only downside it the stock cables. They are really thin and wore out after about 2 years. There is a custom cable company that did a redesign and produces sturdier replacements. I love these headphones. They have next to no plastic, the leather is nice and soft and the sound quality is really good. I would always break those plastic frame headphones in about a year, but I've had these since just about the time they came out and aside from having to change out the cable, They are still in near mint condition.
  11. As I said, it will kill resale value and will likely degrade sound quality, but you won't blow the driver.
  12. I have no use for cloud storage, myself, but I've heard great things about backblaze, not just from LTT.

  14. Glasswire has some tools that you might find helpful, but they are only available on the paid version.
