wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Folding Month VI Awards Ceremony
It is a great day, the day where you all find out where in the ranks you found yourself at the end of the event. I know there are a lot of new people in the team so I thought I would take a minute to explain the delay. Usually, after Folding Month ends I take a few days to look after myself. I'm a disabled guy with several chronic illnesses and although I love hosting Folding Month every year it does take it out of me, so having a few days to rest before I need to start handing out prizes is something I often do.

I think it's fair to say that this is the first event with Den-Fi that we can clearly say he has been surpassed on a large scale. On the one hand, I'm really happy to see the team doing so well, but on the other hand, it is a little sad that he is fading in common knowledge of the event. I suppose it is only natural when someone leaves the team that they would be slowly forgotten about. But I remember!

I would like to thank those who helped with the event this year, we have the usual thanks to @leadeater who continues to maintain and manage the script that is vital for the smooth running of these events. @cbigfoot does a lot of the leg work, validating point totals, inputting them to the spreadsheet and generally doing all the small odd jobs that need to be done. We also have @IkeaGnome and @TylerD321 who helped out along with others, so a massive thank you to everyone who makes these events happen.

Please can you all make sure we donate a few dollars to Jason over at EOC, his servers must have taken a beating with all the traffic we have thrown at the guy over the last month or so. You can either use this PayPal link or find the PayPal donation button on the EOC Website on the left. Don't forget to include a note thanking him so he knows it's from team LTT.  My personal go-to is, 'From LTT with love' but you are free to write your own.

In first place, we have @Mxyzptlk, who did not skip a beat at all during the event. He was one of those people I could not stop looking at throughout the event as he pushed forward harder and harder taking the team to new rights. Breaking every record set for a single participant for any folding event so far, he takes the rank of first and is crowned the king for the next year with an incredible 4,968,894,133 points. Folding through an equally incredible 8,457 Work Units over the 35 days of the event I think you can all agree with me when I say he certainly deserves the throne.

In second place, we have @jakkuh_t, even with all the power of LMG behind him, he was unable to challenge for first place, which I'm happy about as it would be a little sad if he was the one to take the crown by the end of the event. He managed to be another person who broke the last events record and if it wasn't for Mixie he would certainly be the new record holder. He takes the rank of second with 4,198,415,473 points produced from a total of 5,309 Work Units.

In Third place, we have @Shlouski, who managed to hold on and take third place after being displaced by the LMG participant for this event. He managed to come in second place last event and if it wasn't for Jake I'm sure he would have managed to take second in this event as well, but it was not on the cards with Jake doing what he does. He takes the rank with 4,036,060,417 points being produced from 6,058 Work Units.

In fourth place, we have Justaphf, who for those of you who don't know is the number of man on the team overall. He managed to take fourth which just goes to show that consistency can get you very high in the project even if you don't have the most folding hardware. Fold for a long time, consistently day after day and you can gain some impressive ranks overall. He takes the rank with 3,728,232,321 points, meaning he is the last of the people to surpass the 3.7 billion point record from the last event. He managed to fold through 4,827 Work Units.

In fifth place, we have miker07, who won the last folding month event so to see him fall off the podium is a little sad, but hey that's the way it goes. He actually produced fewer points than the last event too by about 100m so not too far behind but it is still an incredible feat. Taking the rank with 3,673,278,709 points produced from 4,919 Work Units.

6th place is filled out by Alex Atkin UK, who only managed to take 10th during the last event, his wide-ranging upgrades to his folding hardware certainly helped him to take a better rank during this event. He takes the rank with 2,845,561,746 points through 3,987 Work Units.

7th place is Gorgon, who funnily enough was also filling out 7th place during the last folding month event. He takes the rank with 2,452,071,785 points produced from 4,310 Work Units.

8th place is _Rlocke who actually came in fifth place during the last event so technically he managed to do worse than his last showing. he takes the rank with 1,621,684,056 points produced from 2,883 Work Units.

In 9th place, we have vsteel who was filling out the post of gatekeeper for a small while during the event but in the end, managed to take over his final rank with 1,288,657,478 points, these points were produced by folding 1,598 Work Units.

Finally, we have 10th place, Baha managed to take over Firedfly by the time the final whistle blew and managed to secure a place in history. He took the rank with 1,148,598,346 points and folded through 1,521 Work Units throughout the event.

Usually, we just go through the top ten for the final post but I want to mention three others who managed to pass the billion-point mark during this event. For the first time in the history of folding events, we have had not only the whole top ten break that barrier but 13 people.

So in 11th, we have firedfly who managed to take his rank with 1,148,598,346 produced through 1,521 Work Units.

in 12th place, we have ShampooTime who takes the rank with 1,142,848,757 points from 1,924 Work Units.

Finally, the last person to produce one billion points we have Favebook who takes the rank of 13th with 1,018,925,665 points from 1,876 Work Units.

Well, who would have thought it, only 24 hours are remaining, I don't foresee any crazy changes before the final bell but no matter what happens you should all be proud of what we have done together. An incredible amount of scientific work has been worked through and it is always good to remember why we are doing this. Thank you to every single person no matter how many points you have produced during the last month or so.

Let's see how the team is looking overall, it's been an insane event on a calibre we have not seen before during Folding Month, over the last 24 hours the team managed to produce 2,119,843,990 points, for this last week of the event that number goes up to 12,863,997,363 points and for the event as a whole the team has produced 72,960,395,478 points. On the Work Unit front the team folded through 5,819 Work Units over the last 24 hours, that goes up to 34,536 Work Units and the event total so far is 194,432 Work Units. Over the event as a whole, we have had a stupidly massive 9,789 days of activity, not a metric I report often but I just thought it was worth looking at today. As for the daily breakdown, the top ten produced 41.99% of the total, the top 50 managed 71.92% and the top 100 took on 87.08% of the points for today. Those percentages as numbers are 890,214,948 for the top 10, 1,524,615,881 for the top 50 and 1,845,962,792 for the top 100.

The top ten isn't really all that exciting today so we will do the usual zoom through them, Mxyzptlk has certainly got himself a crown, and although the event is not over it is just not possible for him to lose the throne. He takes the rank of first with 4,796,669,557 points. I don't think he will be breaking into five billion points before the end of the event but he sure as hell will be getting close. jakkuh_t may be outproducing the soon-to-be king but there is just not enough time left for him to take the throne. He takes the rank of second with 4,059,680,877 points. Shlouski is the last on the podium and like those ahead, he does not look like he will be failing to take home a medal before the end of the event, he takes the rank of third with 3,913,671,161 points. Justaphf is filling out number four on the table, taking the rank with 3,604,735,996 points he certainly has something to celebrate even if a medal is not on the cards for him for this event. miker07 is in fifth place and takes the rank with 3,556,653,593 points, following him by a great deal of distance is Alex Atkin UK who is in 6th place and takes his rank with 2,738,371,966 points. A few paces behind him is Gorgon who takes the rank of 7th with 2,373,687,065 points. _Rlocke is taking a nap today but even with that, he takes up the rank of 8th with 1,619,653,301 points. vsteel is taking up 9th place with 1,242,682,919 in the bank and finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, firedfly is taking up the post today but he may lose out on a top ten rank by the time everything is said and done, right now he takes the rank with 1,148,598,346 points.

Looking for some action we don't have to go far, with both Schnoz and Conman1700 gaining three ranks each to take over 32nd and 33rd, they take their ranks with 455,862,667 and 451,961,045 points respectively. IkeaGnome gained six ranks to take over 80th today, I see him climbing further over the last 24 hours of the event but for now, he takes that rank with 193,595,568 points. will0hlep has been mentioned a number of times during these blogs but he has yet again climbed a further five ranks to take over 90th with 172,589,009 points. sazrocks is really sprinting for these last couple of days of the event gaining another massive 14 ranks to take over 104th with 146,280,002, I truly believe they will be taking home a top 100 rank by the time the event closes.

The last 48 hours are upon us, and it's time to see who will gain those last precious few ranks and who will lose out. Only time will tell that, but for now, there is plenty of movement in the lower ranks and it will be interesting to see how @TVwazhere is going, we haven't checked up on him in a few days.

The team overall did lower than average today producing only 2,024,819,842 points over the last 24 hours. For the week that number goes up to 10,744,153,373 and for the event as a whole the team has outputted an incredible 70,840,551,488 points. Even with the lower output, the teams' Work Unit count looks pretty decent at 5,598 WUs, for the week that number goes up to 28,717 Work Units and for the event as a whole that goes up to an incredible 188,613 Work Units. For the daily breakdown, the top 10 produced 43.11% or 872,982,683 points, the top 50 produced 73.08% which goes up to 1,479,757,557 points and for the top 100 that is 86.86% or 1,758,757,518 points.

The top ten are another snoozefest so we are going to zoom through them. Mxyzptlk is in first place with 4,643,647,589 points to his name, he could end up very close to the 5 billion point mark but I think he's going to fall a little short unfortunately. jakkuh_t is in second place with 3,878,746,849 followed up by Shlouski who is filling out the last of the podium with 3,803,448,691 points. Justaphf may be the number one person on the team but he has failed to secure a medal during the event so far, he takes the rank of fourth with 3,492,272,384 points. miker07 is taking up fifth place with 3,452,269,263 points. The number of people past the 3 billion point mark in this event is unprecedented. Alex Atkin UK is in 6th place with 2,640,228,666 points, followed by a few strides by Gorgon with 2,301,171,592 points. _Rlocke is in 8th with 1,600,721,551 points followed by a little distance by vsteel who takes the rank of 9th with 1,203,084,902 points and finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, firedfly is filling in that post with 1,148,598,346 points.

Lee B may have only gained a single rank today but he did displace our beloved @cbigfoot, the main data handler for this event. He takes over 23rd with 565,393,921 points. sazrocks decided now was the time to go to warp and has gained ten ranks to take over 118th with 120,935,837 points, they were one of the people who caused @TVwazhere to fall yet another rank. theonly500 is a name I don't think I've brought up yet during this event, they gained an impressive six ranks to take over 149th with 76,924,307 points. piano007 just slightly further down the table gained four ranks to take over 154th with 74,371,936 points. Finally, Kilrah gained five ranks today to take over 181st with 53,088,549 points.

Day 31 has come and passed and it will be interesting to see if we are seeing a final sprint among the ranks or if it is business as usual. I know no matter what way you guys go that I'm so proud of how far the team has come in the few years I've been in charge. I want to point out that November totals on EoC are here and last month the team as a whole managed 95,543,781,491 massively passing the 47 billion we managed last November.

Going to be brief again today because I really need to sleep. Baha moved up a rank to take over 11th, that's about the closest we have to entertainment in the top ten. He takes his new rank with 1,011,589,326 meaning he and ShampooTime have both passed the billion point barrier. Incredible to see so many of you passing that mark. Conman1700 took over 34th after climbing three ranks, taking his place on the table with 407,469,254 points. JonDraggy gained four ranks to take over 79th with 175,377,514 points in the bank. IkeaGnome, one of the guys helping with the event, has gained five ranks to take over 96th with 145,245,373 points. will0hlep gained an impressive eight ranks, with those gains he can find himself in 108th with 126,987,381 points.

wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Thirty - A Brief Look
Well as you may or may not know, I'm flying solo tonight so we will see what my energy levels are like after I run through the verification and hopefully get a full blog post out. The day has come, the clock has ticked over to day thirty and there are only a handful of days left of the event. But that doesn't mean there won't be any excitement left for us to look at. No matter what day of the event it is there is something to look at so let's get to it.

I'll be honest I'm feeling a little not great tonight, probably due to lack of sleep and being unwell so I'm going to make this one quick. When looking at the top ten the only change in ranks to be had is Justaphf leapfrogging miker07 to take over fourth with a difference of less than half a million points. SuperSamitch had a good day today producing over 8 million points and gaining four ranks to take over 80th on the table. Moving further down the table WaffleMachine had another impressive gain of five ranks to occupy 107th with 120,568,082 points. Bluebadge produced over ten million points today, gaining eight ranks to take over 117th. Finally sazrocks gained six ranks to take over 147th with 72,058,417 points.

wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Twenty Nine - A New Hight Of Four Billion
Well, today is a day where you may see lower point totals due to the nature of a late pull on the data yesterday. With that said we are in the end stage of the event with the final tick over of the weekly clock. It will be interesting over the next week to see if anyone has a last-minute mad dash or if things shall remain calm.

Right well I was trying to take out @TylerD321 network but it seemed I killed my own instead /s But with that over let's get back to it, the first day of the week, I don't tend to give it much thought but it could be a clean sheet for someone to shine. For today the team produced 2,164,887,885 points, now as we said before this may be lower due to the late pull yesterday. The week would be the same and the event total is 62,261,286,000 points. On the Work Unit front, the team managed 5,497 Work Units over the last 24 or so hours, the week would be the same and for the event overall the team has folded through 165,393 Work Units. I am in awe of what we can do together. As for the daily breakdown, the top ten produced 41.06% while the top 50 managed 70.47% and finally the top 100 outputted 85.70% of the total. That works out as 888,902,919 for the top ten, 1,525,698,718 for the top 50 and 1,855,376,804 for the top 100.

Mxyzptlk continues to sit on the throne for this update, the soon-to-be king is enjoying a level of performance that leaves him untouchable for anyone else in the event. He takes the rank of first with 4,017,683,772 making him the first person ever to pass four billion points during a folding event. Shlouski, whom I had a lovely voice chat with on Discord this evening, has managed to keep fold of the silver for now taking the rank with 3,335,910,801 points. jakkuh_t is truly welding the full might of LMG atm outproducing everyone on the table. He takes the rank of third with 3,152,420,584 points. If I did my maths right he could very well take second by the time we reach the finish line. miker07 has managed to last yet another day without succumbing to the number one man on the team. He takes the rank of fourth with 3,039,635,455 points. Justaphf is consistently outproducing the man ahead and it is only a matter of time before he moves up, but for now, he claims the rank of fifth with 3,032,805,302 points. Moving on from the top five we can see that Alex Atkin UK is continuing to perform well and takes the rank of 6th with 2,264,904,792 points. There is a massive void in front of him and I do not see him moving up in the ranks with the little time that is left. Gorgon is trailing behind with quite some distance behind, he takes the rank of 7th with 1,999,921,551 points. _Rlocke certainly won't be advancing either, he fills in the rank of 8th with 1,467,875,908 points. firedfly may be dead in space but he continues to rest on past glories to retain a top ten rank of 9th with 1,148,598,346 points and finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, vsteel is taking up the post once again with 1,044,599,988 points.

Now we have had a boring update so far, but I'm sure we can see some action if we are willing to look a little further down the ranks. We do have to look quite a fair way down to see any real good action, parzival0741 has gained 6 ranks to take over 148th with 67,461,519 points. sazrocks is another person who has had a good day, gaining a massive ten ranks to take over 153rd with 63,393,553 points. theonly500 gained 12 whole ranks to climb up to 173rd with 50,093,480 points.

wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Twenty Eight - The Top Ten - All In The Billions
Well, I'm back, hopefully, there won't be any more missed blogs for the last week of the event but as I'm sure you can understand my health has to come first. I want to make a point that due to an issue with Google Drive, the points may be higher than a true 24-hour period by a small amount of time as the data had to be gathered at a slightly later time than usual. This should not affect the event as a whole but it is something to be mindful of.

The team produced 2,613,776,589 points, a higher number than expected and likely at least to some degree is down to the late data pull. For the week that number goes up to 15,290,705,079 points and for the event as a whole the team has produced 60,096,398,115 over the last four weeks. On the Work Unit front, we can see that the team worked through 6,564 Work Units today, for the week that goes up to 39,635 Work Units and for the event as a whole we have worked through 159,896 Work Units. For the daily breakdown, the percentages are 41.09% for the top 10, 71.51% for the top 50 and 85.15% for the top 100. That works out as 1,073,891,362, 1,868,987,841 and 2,225,605,727 points respectively.

Mxyzptlk is certainly going to be crowned this event, taking up the rank of first with 3,870,656,917 points, although it is not likely to break past the 5 billion point barrier but I'm sure he will far surpass any previous record set during an event. Shlouski is once again sitting in second place with 3,215,810,211 points, he may be able to keep that spot but it is going to be close. That is because jakkuh_t has gained two whole ranks to take over fourth with 2,982,952,757 points. Jake could possibly snatch a higher podium finish at the last minute, but only if everything goes right. miker07 is one of the people to miss out to jake, falling to the rank of fourth with 2,939,564,965 points followed very closely by the other person who missed out to jake, Justaphf may be the number one person on the team but he isn't for the event. Regardless he takes the rank of 5th with 2,922,809,580 points. Rather distantly following up next is Alex Atkin UK who takes the rank of 6th with 2,177,276,767 points, Gorgon is a few strides behind with 1,930,227,008 points to take 7th. _Rlocke is in 8th with 1,420,106,622 points and we have the idle firedfly sitting in 9th with 1,148,598,346 points. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, steel is taking up the post with 1,007,450,407 points. Meaning for the first time ever we have all of the top ten breaching the billion-point barrier.

Ir8munk33 is the first person we are going to look at, it seems he has decided now is the time to finally break into a sprint, gaining seven ranks to take over 44th with 315,076,103 points. SpaceRazor gained four ranks to take over 104th with 118,367,472 points and ImWilly also had a gain of four ranks to take over 117th with 99,606,619 points. Bluebadge gained an impressive eight ranks to take over 126th with 86,285,225 points. Moving further down the table we can see event veteran sazrocks who gained ten ranks to take over 163rd with 55,715,000 points. We have a small group from 173rd to 176th who all had impressive gains, jerry_a_h, I_Gots_Dis, Bashman100 and UncleLlama can be found filling in those ranks with totals all around the 47 million point mark.

Well... what an event it has been so far, with only ten days left it is hard to imagine that there will be any major upsets this late in the event. But, even if the top of the stable is mostly static, the rest of the table is in a state of constant flux and I don't think there will be much clarity down there until the end of the event. I guess what I'm saying is thank you for folding, but now is the time to throw everything you have at it, a Raspberry Pi, an old GPU, Google Cloud credit, your smart fridge that has been hacked with Linux... anything you have, I want it.

Now, how are we looking as a team? Today has been yet another average day for the event after producing 2,172,153,659 points over the last 24 hours. It is going to be interesting to see how that changes as the event winds down, will people start to reduce their output as their resolve wavers or will we see a last-minute spurt of action as people vy for the best rank they can muster? Only time will tell. As for the week so far we can see that the team produced 8,519,940,719 points, a very respectable showing to say the whole team isn't included, only the event participants. Finally, for the big number, the team has managed an incredible 53,325,633,755 points over the event so far. On the work unit front, the team has folded through 5,759 Work Units today, which seems to point to a higher yield per WU than earlier in the event. For the week the Work Unit count goes up to 22,410, which is beautiful, Work Units are the real metric to look at when trying to see how much simulation has actually been produced and for the event that number goes up to 142,671! Beautiful. When looking at the daily breakdown we can see that the top ten produced 43.65%, a massive increase over other updates, the top 50 managed 71.79% and the top 100 covered 86.35% of the day's total production. That works out as, 948,058,141 points for the top ten, 1,559,439,907 points for the top 50 and 1,875,751,698 for the top 100 participants.

I'm going to declare it now, Mxyzptlk can not be caught, it is just unfeasible for anyone to catch up at this point. He is sitting on the throne with 3,427,799,034 points. I have to say I would love for him to produce even more and hit 5 billion points before the end of the event but maybe that is asking too much of the soon-to-be king. Shlouski is filling in the silver spot on the podium, he takes the rank with 2,839,816,704 points and although he will be a challenger to the throne I'm sure he will be pleased. miker07 is the last on the podium, taking up the bronze post with a total of 2,583,712,082 points. But if the man in number five has his way he will be losing that rank before the end of the event. Justaphf who may be the number one man on the team overall is also in danger of the man behind. But for right now he takes the rank of fourth with 2,570,272,974 points. jakkuh_t decided he wanted to take some of the LTT hardware for a walk today and produced an incredible 174,325,455 points, meaning we have a new record for the most points produced in a single day, it was only a few days ago when our soon-to-be king set the record and it will be interesting to see if he will try to break the record once again or if he will relent. Jake takes the rank with 2,465,004,290 points. Alex Atkin UK is in 6th with 1,891,244,279, he has been a very consistent performer during the event but despite that consistency, it seems he won't even manage a top 5 rank. In previous events, he would have been fighting for the crown so that must leave a bitter taste in his mouth. Gorgon is up next filling in the number seven spot with 1,686,698,443 points followed rather distantly by _Rlocke who takes up 8th with 1,240,191,023 points. firedfly is napping on the job, but even if this nap continues I think he will manage to keep a top-ten spot by the end of the event. He takes the rank with 1,148,598,346 points. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper. vsteel is once again taking up the post with 887,965,160 points.

Now that we have that out of the way why don't we find some excitement in the ranks? Aaron128l gained three ranks, which usually wouldn't get you a spot on the blog, but managing to gain them to take over 51st is quite a feat, he takes his new rank with 242,414,296 points. WaffleMachine gained three ranks today, it looks like he will be overtaking TVwazhere by the time we next have a blog, he takes his current rank of 120th with 85,626,277 points. Oestle is a name I don't recognise and don't think has made it into a blog post yet during the event, they gained four ranks to take over 143rd with 63,523,598 points.

So I do want to be straight that there is no prize announcement today, but that won't stop us from having a great update. We are in the end game of the event, many of the ranks are relatively stable and the changes of major upsets fall sharply with each passing day. But there is still a little time left for the fights over key ranks like the top 100 to continue so I'm sure going to be keeping an eye around that part of the table. For personal reasons today is one of the hardest days of the year for me, so please forgive my brevity on this post. We will skip the top ten and daily breakdown, but I ask for a helping hand in comments, make up your own little blog posts, your own little stories, and share your thoughts on the event so far.

So with us skipping a lot of the fluff, we will be going right to the juice! dogwitch is up first, gaining a decent (5) number of ranks to take over 106th with 97,080,503 points. p3ll3 is not a name that I think we have looked at during the event so far but they had a solid day gaining four ranks to take over 113th with 88,373,783 points. WaffleMachine, AGAIN, really? Well yeah, gaining five ranks has got them back in the blog post once again taking over 123rd with 77,564,839 points. MatchMaker22 has not yet found the love of my life but they have found the love of folding, gaining a further six ranks to take over 134th with 67,195,484 points. TMan95 gained five ranks to take 144th with 60,070,510 points and finally, we have TVwazhere UncleLlama who gained an impressive 8 ranks to take over 193rd with 31,962,685 points.

That's all folks, I have an AA meeting in 4 mins so going to leave it there, have a good night everyone and remember, never leave things on bad terms with your family, you never know when they won't be around to apologise to later.

wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Twenty Three - Take A Moment
Good evening folks, I am the first to admit that I am not at my best and unfortunately today is one of those days. For reasons that are not needed here, I'm struggling a wee bit. But the event, the event marches on and waits for no man. So here we are, another blog in a long line of blogs, both past and future. But first, we have yet another message of prizes, this time it comes from LTT themselves! They are offering a UniFi Dream Machine Pro (lightly used) and a surprise unifi switch to the prize pool. It is incredible to see all the support we have gotten this year and I hope it is a sign of further support for future events and for the folding team as a whole.

Today I wish to take a moment for us all to take a pause, to appreciate the beauty of the world, the beauty of life and the beauty of humanity. I wish to take a moment for us all to think of those we fold for, to think of those we love, of those who are battling to preserve their life, to think of those we have lost. For many of us, the reason we partake in the project that is folding, in these events, in the team is to try to help other families not feel the pain and loss that we have. We fold in their name, now and always.

Now, with that passed, we shall move on to looking at how the team has performed. As a team, we have managed to produce 2,071,475,100 points over the last 24 hours, which that means although it is on the lower side, it is still very much a massive improvement over the last event. For week four of the event we have produced 4,173,695,853 and for the event as a whole we have bagged a massive 48,979,388,889 points. Honestly, I can not stress enough how proud I am to see the team doing so well and to see the number of people who have not only signed up but have gone on to actually fold. As for the daily breakdown, the top 10 did 39.53% of the total, the top 50 produced 68.39% and the top 100 managed 84.83% points. When looking at what that reflects as points it looks like, 818,863,944 for the top 10, 1,416,771,986 for the top 50 and 1,757,313,164 points for the top 100. On the work unit front, we managed a total of 5,434 Work Units, a marked decline from my last blog post. For the week thus far that goes up to 11,018 Work Units and finally, for the event as a whole, we have managed to fold through 131,279 Work Units. A truly incredible number that represents hope for many, that represents the slow march of process.

Now how are the team looking, The top of the table is rather devoid of any sense of excitement or thrill so we will promptly report the stats and move on to something more juicy. Mxyzptlk is in first place with 3,151,808,926 points. Shlouski is in second place with 2,600,910,338, followed by miker07 who is the last on the podium with 2,349,594,647 points. Justaphf continues his slow march on the podium with 2,334,878,111 points followed somewhat distantly by jakkuh_t who is sitting in 5th place with 2,132,372,317 points. Alex Atkin UK is in 6th with 1,699,827,916 points, Gorgon is up next in 7th with 1,519,421,592 points. firedfly had his worst day on record but takes 8th with 1,148,598,346 points and _Rlocke seems to be gunning for his rank, taking up 9th with 1,111,097,217 points. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, Fun fact with my dyslexia it took me 3 years of these events to be able to consistently spell honourable. vsteel is taking up the post once again with 807,007,575 points to his name.

Now let's find us some excitement to look at, we have MatchMaker22, who takes the rank of 140 after climbing 6 ranks, he has managed an impressive 62,087,464 points so far during the event. I have to say I'm disappointed they have yet to reach out with the love of my life, a pretty poor matchmaker if you ask me. TMan95 is another person who gained six ranks to take over 149th with 54,015,149 points. He is outproducing everyone around him and is likely to keep up his claim through the ranks going forward. JustComputerUnit, a name I don't think I have mentioned yet during this event gained five ranks to fill 175th with 38,023,184 points. parzival0741 gained an incredible ten ranks to take over 191st with 31,809,109 points. sazrocks, a name I'm rather familiar with has had the biggest gain today of 12 ranks to take over 225th with 21,120,918 points.

So, @GOTSpectrum is playing Hookey and having me write this.

First off I want to say how disappointed I am in the top 19 sooo Boring up there, ok not disappointed just a not much to cover up there, though the point gaps don’t help too much for excitement. I do want to Congratulate Mxyzptlk for crossing 3Billion points, LMG jakkuh_t on crossing the 2Billion mark, and congratulate _Rlocke for crossing 1 Billion points this event.

The first bit of excitement is @nextalcupfan Passing LAR_Systems who is currently taking a nap I seem to think he may be on the dark side of mars currently causing him to not be able to fold only time will tell if Mark Watney will find him intime to get his event badge! Down at 38 we have jasestu who is trying to make up for lost time and gained 4 spots he has a chance at enterint the top 30 at this rate. Down at 82 we have woldemort who has passed 8 of their Neighbors, We also have at 103 Livin who has gained 5 spots. And Sir SpaceRazor has cut past 8 more people @SpaceRazor did you cut Lars internet connection? The we have Waffle Machine playing blocker for Nicnac and SerrikVorrik passing 11, 8, 10 Respectivly. We also have Match maker making 3 matches to pass 6 people, Tman95 Gaining 10 spots.
So with that being said here's a message from our sponsor... Ubiquiti…

wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Twenty One - Captains Log, We Have Been At Warp For Three Weeks, But We Can See The Destination On Sensors
    Good Morning Everyone!

I've got something good for you today, we are three weeks into the event and things are as exciting as ever, we are going to get into the ranks but first... a message... from our Spenser hardware prize donator. Can we all give a massive thank you first, to the Brand who donated the prize. Sabrent! And also thank you to the LMG team who I promise have worked hard on this, I've been kept up to date really well and had prompt answers to my questions. But now, to the prize, we have 2x Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB-G. So make sure you drop them an email or tweet to say thank you. I know that this prize may not be the Camino server we all wish it was, but it is yet just another little celebration for us to have as a team. It is nice to finally feel that the company (LMG) is "proud" of us as a community.

A little message written by me and signed off by my contact at the company. LMG continues to work with brands to support community efforts such as Folding Month, meaning even if there ends up being no more hardware prizes for this event the future looks bright for our events and prizes.

Now, with that gone it's time to have a look at these stats, but first, how's the team looking? The team had a slightly lower but still massive day today after producing 2,058,534,282 points. But after the end of week three of the event we can finally see the last 7 days reflected in the stats. For the week the team produced 15,098,559,519 points, which gives us a truly incredible daily average of 2,156,937,074 points. For the event as a whole, the team have produced 44,805,693,036 points. When looking at Work Units the numbers look also just as impressive. For the day we folded a total of 5,730 Work Units which means we are still getting those more juicy WUs, for the week that number goes up to 40,299 and finally for the event as a whole, over the last 3 weeks we have computed an incredible total of 120,261 Work Units. Honestly, I can't begin to thank you all for every single one of those Work Units. As for the daily breakdown, well things are looking pretty familiar I have to say. The top 10 managed to produce 39.15% of the teams' output today. For the top 50 that goes up to 69.87% and for the top 100 they managed to produce 85.96% of the teams' daily output. When we look at the points those percentages represent we see, 805,977,778 points, 1,438,198,302 points and 1,769,551,848 points respectively.

Now for the ranks, we are going to shoot through the top ten and get to something more spicy! We have an impressive total of 2,879,908,026 at the top of the ranks and there are no prizes for anyone guessing who it is. That's right it's Mxyzptlk! Truly the man to be crowned by the time the finishing bell rings. Shlouski is in second place with a rather distant 2,367,001,316 points. Even if he is quite far from first it is still an impressive total to say we have two whole weeks remaining in the event. Occupying the final spot on the podium we have miker07 who has had a bumper day total and looks like maybe he could keep that silver all to himself if he can keep that up. He takes the rank of third with 2,134,091,988 points. Justaphf may be the number one man on the team as a whole he certainly isn't the number one man on the team only managing to bag himself fourth place with 2,106,377,897 points. jakkuh_t, The LMG prodigal son himself is sitting in fifth place with 1,974,162,670 points.  Alex Atkin UK is in 6th place with 1,524,967,250 points. He certainly is cruising along nicely and can't seem to put a foot wrong with such consistent performance. Gorgon is a little ways behind Alex taking the 7th rank with 1,367,477,961, he is followed by yet another sizeable gap and then firedfly who takes the rank with 1,115,855,596 points. _Rlocke is behind the man ahead but he is faster... the only question is, is he fast enough? Either way, he takes the rank of 9th with 996,151,538 points and finally we have the post of the honourable gatekeeper. vsteel is once again filling the post with 730,165,604 points.

Heats with Nvidia overtook two ranks (Including @TVwazhere) to take over 117th with 74,487,681 points. after producing over four million points I have to say I can see them climbing ever higher in the coming days. SpaceRazor, who is keeping all his laser-based top secret space razors to himself gain an impressive nine ranks to take over 134th with 57,904,963 points. WaffleMachine is up next, gaining 8 ranks. I do have a question though, do you deliver? I only ask because I will be rather stoned soon and some waffles would definitely hit the stop. He takes the rank of 143rd with 53,793,062 points. TMan95 gained six ranks to take over 165th with 41,888,351 points in the bank.

Well we have made it, for those of you who have folded every day so far, you now meet at least one of the minimum requirements, but the chances are unless you are folding on a core 2 quad or a pi you are almost certainly qualified at this point. Congrats to you all, and for those of you who will be upgrading your event badge this event, here's a cookie 🍪.

So for the team as a whole, things are looking pretty "fine" today, It is a very average day and I have to say the ranks are very boring. Nonetheless, we will have a look into it after first checking out the totals. The days production for the team as a whole is 2,220,965,890, meaning we are about where we were yesterday. For the week so far we are up to 13,040,025,237, it is really crazy to me who has commented on every folding event here for the last 6 years, that we can produce such numbers in less than a week. The event as a whole is already breaking every record we have ever set for a folding event so at this point it is all just icing on the cake. Over the whole event we have put out 42,747,158,754 points. On the Work Unit front things look a little low for the day with only 5,730 Work Units, but like yesterday the teams points have not taken a hit so we are getting bigger or higher-yielding WUs. For the week we have computed a total of 34,896 Work Units and finally, for the grand total of the event, we are up to 114,858 Work Units. *insert "Apes Together Strong" meme* As for the daily breakdown the top 10 people managed to produce 38.61% per cent of the points, the top 50 gave us 69.41% per cent and the top 100 makes that up to 85.69% of the points for today. Noice. That works out to 857,557,587 for the top ten, 1,541,511,577 for the top 50 and 1,903,086,295 for the top 100.

Honestly, the ranks are pretty boring across the board, so take a look for yourself and point out some of your favourite moved in the comments below. Please, Please, PLEASE don't shout out yourself, spread the love guys.

Well, today marks a point in the event, where we advance out of our teenage times, move out of our parents datacentres and strike it out to do our own thing. We have been doing pretty well lately, but I have to say guys you are making this a little boring. Why don't you buy some 4070tis and make this a little more interesting for the spectators out there? Regardless we will have a look at the ranks and see where people are at. On the writing front, I managed almost 2000 words today but I'm going to need to do more if I'm to meet the target. I have moved past my own target of 25k but the target of the event is 50k so a long way to go.

The team as a whole had a good day with an impressive increase over yesterday's tally. Managing to pump out an impressive 2,275,962,382 points over the last 24 hours it has certainly been a good day. For the week that brings us up to a total of 10,819,059,347 points. Adding it all together we have a total surpassing 40 billion points with a total of 40,526,192,864 points. On the Work Unit front, I have to say it is not as impressive as the points total tells us. This means we have been working through higher productive WUs and there are no concerns about the reduced number. for today we folded through 5,995 Work units, for the week that adds up to 29,166 Work Units. For the event as a whole when looking at the numbers we can see that a total of 109,128 have been folded by the people of the event alone. with the LTT team overall doing significantly more. As for the day's breakdown, the percentages work out as 39.01% for the top 10, 70.12% for the top 50 and 85.77% for the top 100. As for the point totals, they work out to 887,875,643, 1,595,792,246 and 1,952,015,420 points respectively.

Now onto the team ranks which are less than exciting all things considered. Mxyzptlk continues sitting on the throne with 2,594,182,561 points. That means we have yet another record-breaking total from a single participant. After producing 163,315,703 points today he has broken the record set by himself only a handful of days ago. With each passing record break, I struggle to comprehend how people do such numbers. What kind of hardware are you folding on to manage such levels of production? Shlouski has produced 109,459,099 points today, only a couple of years ago it would have been unthinkable to manage such a feat and now it has moved from impossible to mightily impressive. He takes the silver rank with 2,144,585,086 points. miker07 is looking less than great atm, not because his production is somehow lacking in principal after producing 99,571,828 but in reality, he is at risk of dropping a rank. For the moment he gets to stay on the podium with 1,929,310,761 points. Justaphf is flying forward at maxing warp, after producing 117,789,405 today I have to say he really could end up taking home a medal by the end of the event. He takes the rank of fourth with 1,893,942,174 points. jakkuh_t is up next filling in fifth place with 1,787,945,481, he had a good day today producing a bumper 101,845,529 points. Alex Atkin UK is taking up post in 6th place with 1,362,792,171 points, after producing a strong 87,341,783 today he is certainly showing us why he deserves his ranking thus far. Gorgon is continuing to pitch his tent in 7th place with 1,219,369,786 points, I have to say he has had a solid day today producing 81,249,310 points, but I fear it will not be enough for him to make any gains. firedfly is keeping his rank in 8th with a total of 1,052,788,955 points to his name. But his production has been lacklustre for quite some time and maybe he should look into a remedy for that. _Rlocke is in 9th place with 888,534,198 points and finally we have the honourable gatekeeper, taking up the post is once again vsteel who is keeping his job with 659,173,308 points to his name.

Long time participant GOTSpectrum lost out today, after being struck down by... well Struck he is certainly going to be worrying about keeping a spot in the top 20 after this loss. Struck takes his new rank of 18th with 448,631,042 points. ChaosTCN is someone I don't think I've talked about in one of these blogs before, he takes the rank of 38th with 232,402,507 after gaining three ranks today. SuperSamitch also had an impressive gain today taking rank 93rd after climbing five whole ranks. He takes his spot with 89,461,440 points. woldemort is once again coming up in a blog gaining 17 ranks to take 104th with 76,956,966 points. Finally we have Livin who gained 8 ranks to take 112th with 69,718,818 points.

Once again it is that time of day where we look at the stats! I have to say after sleeping 14 hours last night I am feeling incredibly groggy which is not great, being unwell sucks. Now, on the writing front, I have done none, the joys. On the folding front, I had a sorry day myself after Foldatron went down during a power outage and I didn't notice. We are back up and running now though so that's good.

As for the team as a whole, I have to say we had a lower-than-average day overall producing 2,087,476,427 points. It does fluctuate and we have seen reports of systems hanging without being given a WU so it could be that it is affecting more than the couple of people who have mentioned it so far. Something to keep an eye on for sure. For week three of the event the team has outputted 8,543,096,965 points, so certainly something to celebrate and an incredible 38,250,230,482 points for the event as a whole. As for Work Units, the team folded through 5,692, a marked decrease from yesterday and certainly below average, for the week that works out to 23,171 and for the event as a whole we have passed the 100k mark with 103,133 Work Units. Incredible to see that massive number written down. And to think we are only around halfway through the event.

So with another day of no movement in the top ten, this part will give major Deja Vu to many of us but it is the standard format so let's get into it. Sitting on the throne we have Mxyzptlk who has shown us throughout the whole event why he deserves that crown. Taking the rank with 2,430,866,858 points he is slowly moving towards a new record for the event if he can keep it up. Shlouski is up next filling in the number two point and gunning to take silver. But he has had a less-than-perfect day today and will need to get his production back up if he is looking to stay there. He takes the rank with 2,035,125,987 making him the second person to pass the two billion point barrier. miker07 had a good day today producing 113,071,064 points taking his total to 1,829,738,933. Now moving on from the podium we have Justaphf in fourth place with 1,776,152,769 points, followed by jakkuh_t in 5th place with 1,686,099,952 points. Alex Atkin UK is in 6th place with 1,275,450,388 points, Gorgon seems to have pitched his tent in 7th with 1,138,120,476 points. firedfly is in 8th and becomes the second person in as many days to pass the billion-point mark. He takes the rank with 1,016,356,940 points. At the end of Folding Month V, we had 9 people pass the billion point mark, so it is interesting to see how many people already have even though we are nearly pass the mid-way point. _Rlocke is in 9th place, he has some way to go to reach one billion points but he is well on his way. He takes the rank with 828,616,860 points. Finally, the post of the honourable gatekeeper is filled once again by vsteel who takes up the task with 628,219,675 points.

Looking through the ranks, I bring good news. TVwazhere has seemed to have stopped his fall for the moment taking up rank 115th with 64,696,346 points. Even so, there are dangers below him and looking into increasing production may be helpful for him. woldemort gained 18 ranks to take over 121st with 60,536,475 points. They are throwing around points like they are some sort of meaningless internet points right now and if they can keep it up I think they will be climbing much higher. Looking back at someone we seem to have talked about a lot during these blogs Spee had a good day once again gaining 5 ranks to fill 69th... notice. He takes the rank with 124,385,411 points. kinglamos is filling in 141st after gaining seven ranks, he has 47,572,790 points in the bank so far. Somerandomtechyboi, love the name btw, I too am a random boi into tech, gained 6 ranks to take over 241st with 561,520 points.

Another day another one billion point user. It is truly amazing to see that we had nine users who passed the billion-point barrier at the end of Folding Month V. So we are definitely going to pass that matric by the end of the event. It really is crazy to think how much has changed in the last 12 months on the folding front. With the roll-out of 40 series cards to more people and having a higher number of participants things are looking good. I'm going to try to work more closely with LMG next year to attempt to get even more of an uptake. On the writing front, I have to say, I have done very little lately. I just can't seem to get in the mood for it.

How are the team looking overall, well I'm pretty sure everyone will be as pleased as I am that we have had a bumper day. Managing to produce 2,200,567,106 points, it is certainly an impressive day. For the week that brings us up to 6,455,620,538 points. Looking solid, we did fifteen and half billion points last week, so if we keep it up at this rate we may surpass that. For the event as a whole, we have produced 36,162,754,055, surpassing the total of the entirety of Folding Month V. On the Work Unit front, things are looking just as pleasing, today the team folded through 6,087 Work units, also a bump from yesterday. For the week we have folded through 17,479 Work Units and for the event as a whole, we are rapidly approaching the 100k mark with 97,441 Work Units. As for the daily breakdown, we can see that the top 10 produced 37.58% of the team's total, the top 50 did 70.55% points and finally the top 100 did a slightly lower 85.77% of the points. That works out to 827,025,852 points for the top 10, 1,552,482,176 points for the top 50 and 1,887,444,985 points for the top 100 of the event.

We are now going to look at the ranks like we usually do, but with the top 21 having no rank changes it's going to be in the form of a list with little to no commentary. Mxyzptlk is in first place with 2,285,130,417 points. Shlouski is in second place with 1,936,880,957 points. miker07 is in this place with 1,716,667,869 points. Justaphf is in 4th with 1,669,318,652 points. jakkuh_t is in 5th with 1,590,865,667 points. Alex Atkin UK is in 6th place with 1,193,288,742 points. Gorgon is taking up 7th with 1,065,939,621 points, meaning is the latest person to pass the billion-point mark. firedfly is looking to be the next person to join that club taking the rank of 8th with 985,372,374 points. _Rlocke is next up taking the rank of 9th with 774,066,674 points. Finally, the honourable gatekeeper we have vsteel, who takes his post with 591,496,989 points.

Frugivore8894 is the first person we will be looking into across the ranks, after gaining four ranks and overtaking TVwazhere he finds himself in 112th with 61,686,623 points, after producing 5,069,064 points he will surely be claiming further up the ranks in the coming days and weeks. woldemort had an incredible day, gaining a massive 31 ranks to take over 139th with 45,118,798 points. Blackfish11 gained 9 ranks to take over 153rd with 39,638,213 points. Producing almost seven million points he is another that is likely to keep climbing. SpaceRazor is keeping up his his production and has been rewarded with a further 20 ranks increase taking him to 168th with 32,212,877 points. Finally we have Lacho who gained 16 ranks to take over 208th with 20,045,534 points.

Well this is going to be a slowly written blog post, the kitten is very demanding today.  So first thing, if you have not yet started folding, you are officially disqualified from gaining a forum badge or having a chance at getting a prize. But, if you have folded already you have a chance, just make sure you keep folding and as always be wary of the minimum requirements for these events as I don't want to see you guys missing out just by a day or two.

As we like to do the first stats to look at are that of the team as a whole. Over the last 24 hours, we produced 2,060,478,551, a notable reduction from what we have been seeing lately. For week three of the event so far we have made 4,255,053,432 points and for the event as a whole, we continue pushing ever higher with a total of 33,962,186,949 points. As for the breakdown, well the top produced 38.76% of the points today meaning they produced 798,563,675 points. The top 50 managed 70.92% for a total of 1,461,322,277 points and the top 100 gave us 86.28%, or 1,777,877,086 points. As for work units, today the team folded through 5,531 Work Units, and for the week that number goes up to 11,392 Work Units and for the big number, for the whole event we have folded through 91,354 Work Units. Which to me is the best part, yes points are great, but when you see the sheer number of Work Units we have computed I hope you feel as proud as I do.

Mxyzptlk is the usual suspect to be on point for the fleet and as we can see he is once again sitting on the throne, he takes the rank with 2,141,501,167 points after producing 141,415,520 points today, for week three of the event he has given 286,815,416 points to the team. Shlouski continues to take up the silver spot on the table taking the rank with 1,829,889,985 points, for today he produced 110,452,810 and for the week he is up to 220,556,226 points. miker07 had a sorry day today after only making 84,811,637 points, still an impressive number but he will need to get back on track if he wants to stay on the podium. He takes the rank with 1,617,542,652 points and for the week he has bagged 186,165,167 points. Justaphf is continuing to gain on the number three spot today, He takes the rank of fourth with 1,562,202,764 points, for the week he has 210,058,332 and for today that works out to 102,612,168 points. jakkuh_t is keeping up appearances so far after producing 90,321,946 points, bringing his tally up to 1,497,859,984 points, for the week that works out to 188,476,456 points. Alex Atkin UK is looking a little lacklustre today, he takes the rank of sixth with 1,113,423,227 points, for the day he managed 77,097,642 points and for the week he has 160,134,607 points. Gorgon is going to be passing the one billion point mark tomorrow unless something goes very wrong for him, he takes the rank of 7th with 996,555,426 points, for the day he managed 65,821,317 points and for the week he had done 133,738,142 points. Taking up 8th place we have firedfly who is lacking in production right now and it has to be said I can see him slipping down the table. He takes the rank with 951,883,629 points, for the week he has 80,145,052 points and today only outputted 38,146,728 points. _Rlocke is up next, he could make a gain if he manages to produce just a little more or the guy ahead falters even further. He takes the rank with 716,976,395 points, he managed 53,249,172 today and for the week he has 105,420,622 points in the bank. Finally, we have the post of the honourable gatekeeper, once again vsteel is taking up the post with 554,166,881 points.

So now to have a look at a few people throughout the ranks, we will miss @TVwazhere here for this update, the title says it all. Spee has been in quite a number of these posts and today is another one where we look at their continued climb through the ranks. He takes the rank of 76th after gaining seven ranks, he takes the rank with 98,530,020 points. NeutralChaotic I don't think we have looked at before during a blog post, but they gained 6 ranks to take 102nd with 64,250,390 points. kinglamos had a great day gaining 11 ranks to take over 155th with 35,031,137 points. Finally we are again looking at SpaceRazor who gained a massive 25 ranks to take 188th with 24,256,453 points.

People love "battlestation" pictures. Some love their battlestations....others; apparently not to much. I'm collecting and showcasing set ups that people clearly put no effort into presentation. I've tried to not grab ones that were posted satirically. It's like a discount 'we roast your worse setups' series that LTT did.

If your set up appears on this list....that's your fault, take it as a hint to clean it up!

Hey guys just a quick first point, please try not changing your forum names during an event, now I'm going to name names here, but you know who you are. 😉

I am exceptionally tired tonight after a busy day, but here I am, once again writing that blog that you all love. So what's going on in the life of Spec... Well I am certainly unwell, but I'm going to get my new kitten in the morning... well later this morning. Some of you know I'm doing NaNoWriMo well I'm behind but I've written just shy of 17k words. Which is pretty nice IMO. Send me some motivation in the comments below to keep me writing.

Here comes my favourite part, looking at the team as a whole so far. We have seen a little bit of a lower day overall today, I don't know about anyone else, but on my end, it seems like maybe we are entering a WU shortage a little bit. Today, we managed to produce 2,165,062,185 points, which is still amazing to be over 2 billion in my opinion. So far this week of the event we have collectively produced 11,153,321,752 points and for the event as a whole that number goes up to 25,302,131,323 points. It seems that the lower production rate can be seen on the Work Unit front too, only managing 5,720 today, so far for week two of the event we have chewed through 29,310 Workings and for the whole event that looks pretty impressive at 68,255 Work Units. The daily breakdown looks pretty much the same way it always does, the top ten did 39.29%, the top 50 did 70.91% and the top 100 managed 85.45%, that works out to 850,596,750 points, 1,535,295,605 points and 1,850,106,484 points respectively.

We've got all the usual suspects in the top ten as we have come to expect, but there has been one change in the order of the lineup since yesterday so let's get to it. Mxyzptlk is once again sitting on the throne at the end of the last 24 hours, honestly, he looks impossible to conquer at this point during the event. He produced 145,081,535 points today, meaning he has climbed back up towards the record, is he going to break the daily record again... I hope so. He takes the rank with 1,564,910,396 points and so far for week two of the event he has bagged 709,591,576 points. Sitting in second place we have Shlouski who is proving to be folding at maximum warp taking the rank with 1,384,503,812 points, For the week that makes 591,025,608 points, and for the day he managed 117,799,473 points. miker07 is in third place, producing 103,702,579 today, if he doesn't produce more he could fall four to the team's number one man behind him. Either way for now he takes the rank with 1,246,320,957 points and 511,227,770 for the week. Justaphf could be shooting for a spot on the podium, the question is, with "only" 104,501,109, the event isn't long enough for him to catch up, so if he willing to push harder to gain a medal for himself? He takes the rank with 1,139,944,544 points and for the week alone he has managed 526,997,515 points. jakkuh_t is looking pretty decent cruising along at 93,449,053 points today, I don't think he will be climbing anywhere any time soon, but he takes the 5th rank with 1,121,729,796 points, and for the week he's at 477,910,933 points. Alex Atkin UK is the person in the top ten who has managed to gain a rank today, he has moved up to 6th place with a great 84,079,711 points for today, He takes the rank with 789,191,262 points and for the week he has 392,148,077 in the bag. firedfly who has had a marked reduction in his production lately is the one to miss out falling to 7th with a daily production of "only" 48,264,695 points. For the week he has 393,792,410 and he claims the rank with an overall 787,212,439 points. Gorgon could very well take advantage of this lower production ahead. For the moment he takes the rank of 8th with a daily production of 72,155,010 points. For week two of the event, he has 349,339,437 and takes the rank as a whole with 722,367,893 points. _Rlocke is not likely to be climbing anywhere anytime soon, he pumped out 44,863,901 points, for the week he had outputted 237,170,959 points and he claims his rank with 514,728,540 points. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, whose post is still being manned by vsteel, they take up the post with 407,743,223 points, after producing 36,699,684 points today and bagging 179,560,055 points for the week.

After this being the second attempt at this and me not feeling well, let's fire through a few others across the table. Spee sitting in 103rd after climbing 11 ranks is looking very good right now, taking the rank with 50,312,667 points and producing 11,883,119 of those points today. MatchMaker22 is up next, after climbing 18 whole ranks they are sitting in 145th with 29,096,879 points. BTW, I'm single so if you wanna find me the love of my life please go ahead. Wandering_Luddite gained 10 ranks to take up a spot in 203rd with 15,312,703 points. Finally, MetaDrow gained 25 ranks to occupy 270th with 4,492,547 points.

So it seems everyone is pretty happy with where they are for the most part. There are few changes in ranks across the table but a couple of notable shifts worth mentioning so I'll be sure to do that. Overall, we are in the calm phase of Folding Month, between the early mad dash and musical ranks to the stability of an event in full swing. If we are lucky there will be some hardware changes in the next week or so that will make things more interesting. But only time will tell on that part. For now, we have to look at the ranks as they are, not how we wish they were. If you are wanting to increase your folding power without the cost of new hardware why not look into Google Cloud, they even have free credit when you join. You can even set up multiple accounts for free credit if you have access to multiple bank cards. DISCLAIMER: Always ensure you have the permission of the cardholder if you choose to do this, charges will apply if you don't monitor it as you will outspend the original credit. Here's the link to the guide.

The team as a whole is looking pretty good, although not a record-breaking day it is yet another above-average day which I'll take, overall we managed to produce 2,212,840,597 points today, which means so far this week we have produced 6,787,625,563 and over the entire event the total tots up to an incredible 20,936,435,134 points. The top 10% is a little bit lower than yesterday but is within the margin of error at 38.99%, while the top 50 managed slightly higher at 69.43% (nice) and the top 100 is also slightly higher at 85.48%. The breakdown works to 862,701,977.00 for the top ten, the top 50 is sitting at 1,536,303,269.00 for today and the top 100 produced a little shy of two billion at 1,891,580,736.00 points. If you want to look into more of the breakdown you can find the details at the right of the sheet.

There has been no movement at all in the top ten so this is going to be a quick lightening round of going through the ranks at the top of the table. In first we have Mxyzptlk who continues to outperform the rest of the team and takes the throne with 1,278,474,503 after producing 140,219,654 today. Second place we have Shlouski who takes his rank with 1,145,851,450 points and managed a daily total of 111,829,458 points. Third place is occupied by miker07 who has 1,042,288,795 points, of which 110,293,140 points came from today's production. Fourth place is the LMG man, jakkuh_t who takes the rank with 932,875,858 points and managed to make a total of 93,034,040 points. Justaphf is in fifth place with 928,172,716 points, today he did very well and could leapfrog Jake in the next day or two if things go his way. Today he managed 103,990,909 points. firedfly seems to be leaking warp plasma and is slowing down as a result, producing "only" 72,604,929 today he will have to keep a close eye on Alex to make sure he doesn't lose out. He takes the rank with 689,363,355 points. Alex Atkin UK is in 7th place, outproducing the guy ahead today with a production rate of 76,839,480 points, he takes the rank with an overall total of 621,867,166 points. Gorgon looks to be nice and comfortable in his rank of 8th, he produced 67,934,362 points today giving him a total of 577,038,708 points to secure the rank. _Rlocke is another comfortable person on the table, taking the rank with 413,719,309 and producing 51,569,129 points today. Finally, we have the honourable Gatekeep, steel is sitting in 10th place thanks to their  336,677,909 total of which they managed 34,386,876 today.

We don't have anyone to check in with from the last blog post so let's get right to finding some action in the ranks. First of all, we will look at Taene, not a stranger to these blogs, who managed to gain another 5 ranks to take up their post in 39th with 113,047,210 points. Conman1700, another person who has been mentioned before managed to gain 6 ranks today moving him into 55th with 86,153,662 points. For the first mention in my blogs from this event we have one of the event team, IkeaGnome also gained 6 ranks to occupy 72nd with 66,164,141 points. Effinidiot is sitting in 98th after gaining none whole ranks taking the rank with 44,346,625 points. Moving down the ranks we have Spee who gained 52 ranks to take over 139 with 25,877,017 points.

As you can see, the top is calm and smooth sailing while the lower ranks still have some decent amount of action for the spectators among you.

All things considered, looking at the sheet I can say it's been a very average day, with few real victories or losses across the ranks today. I have to say these are the days that I dread as a commentator, where there is no real centre of action where we can pick out people who are vying to get the same rank and no real victories to celebrate. So I guess without further ado, we should get right to it! This is going to be a quick post because I really have some work things I need to do before I sleep.

So how'd the team do overall, It's impressive but compared to yesterday it's not quite there. Over the last 24 hours, the team produced 2,156,011,197 points, although less than yesterday it is still above average which means our average is going up! This was produced by folding 5,597 Work units today taking us to a total of 50,934 WUs for the whole event. When looking at the breakdown for the day the top 10 did 39.90% of the total giving us 860,232,553 points, The top 50 did 68.92% points, making that 1,485,844,775 points, and finally, the top 100 managed 84.71% equating to 1,826,461,289 points. So far that gives us 4,574,784,966 points for the week and a total of 18,723,594,537 points for the whole event. Not too bad at all.

As we have been expecting Mxyzptlk once again is sitting on the throne at the top of the table, not another record-breaking day but respectable nonetheless, taking the rank of first with 1,138,254,849 points. For this week he produced 282,936,029 points and for today he managed 132,926,337 points. Shlouski is sitting in second and is the second person to pass the one billion point barrier, Today he produced 114,461,316 points, meaning this week he has gained 240,543,788 points, and for the event as a whole he has 1,034,021,992 points. miker07 is next up in third with 85,624,396 for today, 196,902,468 for the week and 931,995,655 for the event as a whole. jakkuh_t, our LMG participant is taking up a post in 4th with 93,184,073 points for today, 196,022,955 points for the week and 839,841,818 points in total. Our team's number one man, Justaphf is in 5th with 99,816,615 points for today, 211,234,778 points for the week and 824,181,807 points in total. firedfly is pushing his warp field to the maximum, managing 121,229,506 points for the day is very good and if maintained he could be climbing quite a few ranks. His week's points add up to 616,758,426 points. Certainly, one to keep an eye on! Alex Atkin UK is cruising along nicely sitting in 7th with 70,851,096 points for today, 147,984,501 points for the week so far and 545,027,686 points in total. Gorgon is also enjoying a leisurely cruise smoothly chugging along, taking the rank of 8th with 63,984,557 for today, 136,075,890 points for the week and 509,104,346 points in total. _Rlocke is a major step down from the last man only managing 42,331,929 points today, 84,592,599 points for the week and 362,150,180 points for the event as a whole. Finally, vsteel is continuing to man the post of the Honourable Gatekeeper, taking up 10th with 35,822,728 points today, 74,107,865 for the week and 302,291,033 points in total.

Well I am on the bus on the way home, I have a lovely 30+ min ride ahead of me, but do not hear, for I am here. I used my foresight to bring with me my new two-in-one tablet to be able to get this sorted for you all. I think I look forward to writing them as much as you guys look forward to reading them. There is only one other person on the bus who is also working on a laptop, I guess they are also running a folding event /s. But seriously, let's have a look at how the team have done today. @cbigfoot did the sheet today so I genuinely have no clue what has happened, I'm as excited as you all.

As is the norm for us by now we will start by looking at the team as a whole. I'm very happy to announce that despite the last few days of declines today is officially the highest production ever seen during a single day of a folding month event! Together we managed to pump out a staggering 2,418,773,769 points, not far shy of 2.5 billion which I hope we get to see before the event of the event. Truly, thank you to every person, no matter if you are running a single desktop CPU, or you are a leadeater running god knows how many KWs of CPUs, or you are hammering it out at the top of the table. You all made this possible. We produced this by folding through an unprecedented 6,392 work Units over the last 24 hours. That means so far for the event we have folded through 45,341 WUs giving us an event total of 16,567,604,625 points. As for how the days breakdown is looking, the top 38.59% of the days total, producing 933,506,717 points, almost a billion from the top ten alone. The top 50 managed to give us 69.44% of the total, meaning they produced 1,679,623,261 points and finally, the top 100 produced 84.57% of the days total giving us 2,045,446,390 points. But that isn't the only broken record!

Looking at the ranks we can see that the usual suspect Mxyzptlk is sitting on the throne, but we have officially passed a new milestone for individual performance, giving us a new daily record of 150,009,692 points, he has truly surpassed everyone else and proves to us why he should be our king. He takes the rank of first with 1,005,328,512, being the first person in this event to break the billion-point barrier. I'm sure everyone can join me in the feeling of awe looking at him cruising along at maximum warp. Shlouski sitting in second also had a very good day today, but not good enough to even think about being a challenge for the throne. He takes the rank of second with 919,560,676 points. miker07 another person to produce over 100m points today, is sitting in third place with 846,371,259 points. Following Him we have jakkuh_t who also produced over 100m points today, The man is doing very well but in reality, it is LMG competing not Jake. Even so, he takes the take of fourth with 746,657,745 points. Justaphf had a number production today producing over 111m points, if he can keep this up he could very well be moving up a rank, maybe even two depending on how things go ahead. He takes the rank with 724,365,192 points. Now for the first lot of action in the top 10, we see firedfly has leapfrogged Alex, being the last person who produced over 100m points today, he takes the rank of 6th with 495,528,920 points. Alex Atkin UK was the man to miss out today losing a rank falling to 7th with 474,176,590 points. I don't see him falling further unless something goes very wrong for him, or something goes very right for someone below him. Gorgon is once again occupying the number 8 spot taking the rank with 445,119,789 points. _Rlocke is someone who has the ability to shake things up if he wants, however, he seems happy with a top 10 place for this event. He takes the rank of 9th with 319,818,251 points. Finally, we have a new person manning the post of The Honourable Gatekeeper, steel is the man of the day taking the post with 266,468,305 points.

So how have those who we looked at yesterday been fairing, have they managed to keep up their push ever higher up the table or are they destined to falter and slide down the table, no one knows, but we can sure have a look. Burton3516 is up first and it has to be said that his ambitions to climb ever higher continue to fuel him, taking a further 6 ranks to take up a post in rank 98, claiming 37,339,060 points managing him a spot in the top 100, but can he stay there, only time will tell. Unfortunately, not all is well with the group we looked at yesterday with deemey95 falling two ranks down to 164th with 15,302,994 points in the bank. However back to the good news SirSaibot gained another 13 ranks to take up 182nd with 12,868,240 points. Finally, we have BigDaddy6969, who produced nothing today and fell 7 ranks to 248th. Nicnac folded for the first time today managing to take up 246 with 4,325,485 points, nathannc also folded for the first time taking up 347th with 29,850 points, finally for today we have Lhorke who although it isn't their first day folding, it seems to be thriy first full day, taking the rank of 268th with 2,902,733.

Now we gotta make this quick cause I'm the next stop, but everything is amazing, you all are amazing, thank you to everyone who has helped make this our best and highest-producing folding month to date. Keep up the good work!

As I'm sure you can all understand I'm very tired after having to wait until 02:30 to manage to write this blog post thanks to not having internet. So I'm not going to make a big song and dance and instead will just go through some of the interesting movements in the ranks.

First up we are going to have a look ay a rising star, firedfly has gained another rank climbing to 7th with 317,026,286 points, meaning Gorgon ended up losing out, he may be able to climb one more rank at his current production rate but will need more power in order to climb higher. Down in 41st we have mehrab2603 gaining four ranks with just over 60,000,000 points, their production looks pretty good and should lead them to climbing higher if they can maintain. Now here is a name I'm very familiar with from my time on the team and the forum as a whole. Ir8munk33 has gained three ranks to take 45th place with 58,832,951 points. Taene has gained a very impressive 12 ranks, if this were lower down the table it would be less impressive, but fitting in 51st there's a very good chance he will take to the top 50 when the next update comes around. He takes his place with 52,296,261 points. leadeater, the consumer of heavy metals, has gained 19 ranks to take up a post in 75th place with 35,748,807 points. Moving further down the table I think we have been conned all along, with Conman1700 giving us a 15m point day leading to him climbing 103 ranks to 117th. He sits with a tidy sum of 20,225,521 points in the bank. Burton3516 also had a good day gaining 14 ranks moving up to 120th with 19,592,983 points. Effinidiot down in 168th gains 112 ranks with 10,464,798 points in the bank and finally jerry_a_h folded for the first time today taking the rank of 343rd with 58,912 points.

wONKEyeYEs reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Four - Justaphf, Set Phasers To Fold
Well, day four has come and gone, some interesting things are happening at the moment, a lot of shifting in the ranks. I can see many people celebrating, and many people commiserating. These early days are a time for everyone to stretch their legs, find their stride and try their best to maximise their output. Small tweaks here and there, the question is, will you risk it? An overclock can seem like a good idea to edge out that nearby rival but nidge it too far and you'll fail WUs and end up worse off than you were in the beginning. On a serious note, the sheer shift in production we can see from just last year is insane. Long gone are the days of a few million giving you a respectable table position; the days of tens of millions are here. A great sign for the project as a whole and for science, a bad sign if you are running older hardware. Also, remember the minimum requirements, they are there to keep you all honest.

So let's have a look at how the team is doing, I have to say this is becoming my new favourite part of Folding Month! I think it is a great way to remind everyone that we are here, working together for the good of all of humanity, not just to earn points and ranks for ourselves. Over the last 24 hours, the team produced 2,315,926,305 points, once again making it a record-breaking day for Folding Month, I truly can't wait to see what we manage tomorrow, and the day after... Altogether for the four days of the event so far we have produced 7,756,737,156 points for the cause. Keep going, keep pushing, let's kick cancer et al in the ass. This was produced by folding a total of 6,219 Work Units over the last 24 hours giving us a total of 21,590 for the event as a whole, a truly incredible number for the short time we have been folding for so far. We have 1,157 days of activity so far for all participants of the event. So now for the breakdown, the top 10 ranks produced 38.65% of the team's total for today, the top 50 did 71.42% while the top 100 managed 85.83% of the production for today. The points for those are 895,203,745, 1,654,116,281, and 1,987,844,104 points respectively. I'm going to try to reach out to some of those who have yet to start folding today to try and get us a bumper production count for tomorrow and the day after.

As I said in the beginning there has been quite some shaking up of the ranks, the top five haven't really changed and aren't looking to change but elsewhere there is a glut of movement to review so let's get into it. Mxyzptlk, ahh the good respectable Mixie is once again sitting on the throne with 483,876,109 points. I have to say with each passing day he is looking more and more untouchable. It seems like no one on the team is able to even match him, forget about dreaming to pass him. Shlouski has always been a man who can shake things up, and I know he has got reinforcements once already, the question is, is he able, and willing to get yet more cards added to his fleet. Regardless he is certainly doing well taking up second place with 451,020,513 points. miker07 my friend, it's nice to see you breaking out into a sprint, but you gonna have to do better than that. He takes up the rank of third with 408,585,397 points. Certainly nothing to turn one's nose up at. I have to say although at his current rate of production, he isn't going to be gaining anything without some major issues for those up the table, he certainly isn't going to be losing ground unless someone gains some assets. The LMG participant is up next in fourth with 367,786,832 points, jakkuh_t has proven to us in the past he can't go the distance, so hopefully this time he is able to keep it up throughout the whole event. Justaphf is looking poised to strike at the LMG participant, outproducing him today, he takes the rank of 5th with 315,107,744 points. Now, Alex Atkin UK, I'm not sure what is going on over there but you have had a very sorry day, he get's to keep his rank today but if he doesn't get those warp engines engaged again he will start sliding down the table. He takes the rank of 6th with 211,298,721 points. HaRdLy007 has continued his impressive pace for yet another day, leading him to gain two further ranks finding himself in 7th place with 185,748,469 points. Gorgon mentioned on the event thread that he may have not had the best of days and I have to say it shows with him dropping a rank, it will be interesting to see how he picks himself back up over this but for now, he is sitting in 8th place with 172,227,630 points. Bigjoe35 is another man on a mission, climbing an impressive 6 ranks to take 9th place with 170,532,735 points. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, _Rlocke is taking up the post after sliding two ranks, I have to say I expected more from him, after being the first person to break a 100m day many years ago it's a shame to see him "struggle". Either way, he has managed to stay in the top ten and takes his post with 156,905,484 points.

There has already been a lot of action today, but let's have a look at some other people across the table. Quickly looking over the people from yesterday, Wandering_Luddite has gained a further 51 ranks making him 225th overall with 2,878,112 points, Burton3516 has had a great day today gaining 91 ranks to take up 165th with 6,807,089, Aranwe however has not has the best day, he still gained 11 ranks to take up 205th with 4,232,640 and Nomeansno2 as the final person to check up on has gained a further 33 ranks to 124th with 11,201,245 points. I want to point out not someone who has gained, but the legend that is TVwazhere who managed to maintain his place of 10th with 14,371,335 points. If things go his way in the coming day he may gain some, but with some higher producing below him he could also lose out, only time will tell. CWP is another veteran of the team, he has gained 24 ranks today breaking into the top 100 sitting in 96th with 16,829,600 points. I want to give a special shout-out to Sant_HH who managed to produce the fewest points today, taking up the rank of 329 with 56,468 points. A legend who is willing to push through, a true example that no matter what you are folding on, you are worth it, your work is worth it.

As you all can see, it is a very exciting update, another smashing of the daily record and a whole lot of activity across the whole table. Thank you to everyone for participating and remember, all is exciting when it's folding season.

The ranks are still very much in flux, which is to be expected to be the case this early in the event. As some people get going, and others tap out early, things will change, I'm not going to give too much weight to how these early ranks look outside of the fun aspect of seeing how the table is shaping up. We have had quite a few people stop folding, so here's a reminder that there are minimum requirements for the badge and prizes. The prizes are a random raffle of all participants who meet the minimum requirements so please don't be disheartened if you aren't high up the table, it really doesn't matter. All that matters is that you work on doing the best you can do!

As has become standard for this event we are going to look at how we are performing as a team first before going into the individual ranks. It is a great way to remind everyone that although we are competing, the first aim of the team is to drive forward TeamLTT and science as a whole. Today the team managed yet another record-breaking day, folding 1,957,732,267 points for the last 24 hours, it will certainly be interesting to see just how high we can push a single day's output. So far, over the last three days, we have produced 5,440,810,851 which is incredible. During the last folding month, we had not even surpassed 2.5b points by the time the third day had passed. An interesting thing to note is that despite our higher point total we chewed through fewer work units, with the final tally for today ending up as 5,218 WUs for the last 24 hours and that means we have an event total of 15,371 WUs so far. Together as a team, we have 860 days of activity which is pretty amazing if I do say so myself. The top 10 produced 36.5% of the team's points for today, with the top 50 managing slightly over 71% while the top 100 did 85% of the team's points for this update. That makes 714,414,480.00, 1,394,717,245.00 and 1,676,701,923.00 points respectively.

Well for those of you following the event thread, you will know that this is the second attempt at writing the blog post. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I lost like 90% of the post thanks to some unknown issue so let's see if the second time around is any better than the first... doubtful as I'm annoyed not but anything is possible! Mxyzptlk is once again sitting on the throne with 350,716,743 points, I don't like to make predictions this early in the event but I have to say he is looking very comfortable on that throne and is the man to beat. Shlouski is once again sitting in second place with a still impressive 334,160,240 points. But if he aspires to go any higher than he currently is he is going to need some reinforcements and the sooner the better. miker07 a well-known member of the team is sitting in third place with 300,351,672 points, he is also the third person to pass the 300m point mark. Next up we have the non-biological son of Linus himself, jakkuh_t is taking up his rank of 4th with 272,813,705 points. Justaphf is rounding out the top five, sitting in fifth place with 215,410,515 points. Alex Atkin UK may look like a sweet old man but deep down he is packing... ahem... packing GPUs of cause, get your minds out of the gutter! He takes up the rank of 6th with 153,259,250 points. Gorgon is the last person in the top ten to keep their spot,
taking the rank of 7th with 107,321,411 points. We have our first upset of the top ten, with _Rlocke gaining a rank to take up the 8th place on the table with 107,174,972 points. Another shakeup is someone who has seemingly come from nowhere, HaRdLy007 has produced an incredible amount of points today and has climbed 52 ranks to take up the number 9 spot with 102,719,428 points. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper. vsteel is the man of the hour to take up the post with 94,686,172 points.

Once again, with a relatively calm top ten, we are going to take a look at a few people throughout the ranks. But first, let's see where those from yesterday's blog post are now. firedfly gained another rank taking them to 12th with 88,525,419 points, baha gained another two ranks taking him to 20th with 62,280,450 points, Struck gained a further 5 ranks taking 28th with 44,428,669 points, Bigjoe35 is the crowd pleaser from last update gaining a rather incredible 36 ranks to take 15th with 83,957,953 points. So now we are all caught up let's find some new people to look into. Wandering_Luddite folded for the first time today taking the rank of 276 with 465,233 points, Burton3516 also folded for the first time today taking 263rd with 790,606 points, Aranwe is a name that sticks in my mind from previous events, he is sitting in 216th with 2,255,499 points and finally Nomeansno2, another name I'm familiar with gaining 42 places to take 157th with 5,302,790 points.
