Day Ten - Steady As She Goes, Keep That Warp Plasma Stable!

So it seems everyone is pretty happy with where they are for the most part. There are few changes in ranks across the table but a couple of notable shifts worth mentioning so I'll be sure to do that. Overall, we are in the calm phase of Folding Month, between the early mad dash and musical ranks to the stability of an event in full swing. If we are lucky there will be some hardware changes in the next week or so that will make things more interesting. But only time will tell on that part. For now, we have to look at the ranks as they are, not how we wish they were. If you are wanting to increase your folding power without the cost of new hardware why not look into Google Cloud, they even have free credit when you join. You can even set up multiple accounts for free credit if you have access to multiple bank cards. DISCLAIMER: Always ensure you have the permission of the cardholder if you choose to do this, charges will apply if you don't monitor it as you will outspend the original credit. Here's the link to the guide.

The team as a whole is looking pretty good, although not a record-breaking day it is yet another above-average day which I'll take, overall we managed to produce 2,212,840,597 points today, which means so far this week we have produced 6,787,625,563 and over the entire event the total tots up to an incredible 20,936,435,134 points. The top 10% is a little bit lower than yesterday but is within the margin of error at 38.99%, while the top 50 managed slightly higher at 69.43% (nice) and the top 100 is also slightly higher at 85.48%. The breakdown works to 862,701,977.00 for the top ten, the top 50 is sitting at 1,536,303,269.00 for today and the top 100 produced a little shy of two billion at 1,891,580,736.00 points. If you want to look into more of the breakdown you can find the details at the right of the sheet.

There has been no movement at all in the top ten so this is going to be a quick lightening round of going through the ranks at the top of the table. In first we have Mxyzptlk who continues to outperform the rest of the team and takes the throne with 1,278,474,503 after producing 140,219,654 today. Second place we have Shlouski who takes his rank with 1,145,851,450 points and managed a daily total of 111,829,458 points. Third place is occupied by miker07 who has 1,042,288,795 points, of which 110,293,140 points came from today's production. Fourth place is the LMG man, jakkuh_t who takes the rank with 932,875,858 points and managed to make a total of 93,034,040 points. Justaphf is in fifth place with 928,172,716 points, today he did very well and could leapfrog Jake in the next day or two if things go his way. Today he managed 103,990,909 points. firedfly seems to be leaking warp plasma and is slowing down as a result, producing "only" 72,604,929 today he will have to keep a close eye on Alex to make sure he doesn't lose out. He takes the rank with 689,363,355 points. Alex Atkin UK is in 7th place, outproducing the guy ahead today with a production rate of 76,839,480 points, he takes the rank with an overall total of 621,867,166 points. Gorgon looks to be nice and comfortable in his rank of 8th, he produced 67,934,362 points today giving him a total of 577,038,708 points to secure the rank. _Rlocke is another comfortable person on the table, taking the rank with 413,719,309 and producing 51,569,129 points today. Finally, we have the honourable Gatekeep, steel is sitting in 10th place thanks to their  336,677,909 total of which they managed 34,386,876 today.

We don't have anyone to check in with from the last blog post so let's get right to finding some action in the ranks. First of all, we will look at Taene, not a stranger to these blogs, who managed to gain another 5 ranks to take up their post in 39th with 113,047,210 points. Conman1700, another person who has been mentioned before managed to gain 6 ranks today moving him into 55th with 86,153,662 points. For the first mention in my blogs from this event we have one of the event team, IkeaGnome also gained 6 ranks to occupy 72nd with 66,164,141 points. Effinidiot is sitting in 98th after gaining none whole ranks taking the rank with 44,346,625 points. Moving down the ranks we have Spee who gained 52 ranks to take over 139 with 25,877,017 points.

As you can see, the top is calm and smooth sailing while the lower ranks still have some decent amount of action for the spectators among you.

Please click on the link below to see the full list of ranks for the event.

For this event all of the ranks will be on one link, there will be individual sheets added for each day, you can navigate these at the bottom of the window.

Qucik question @GOTSpectrum, why is Day 8th spreadsheet sorted alphabetically?

Weird that that's the default everyone sees, but at least we can sort any sheet by any column.

(You have to sort the "points" columns in reverse alphabetical order for them to be in numerical order.)

Well... uh...

Basically, I needed that sorted that way to fix the internal sheet and I guess I forgot to fix it
