Here... to help you with the definition of "smartphone";
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/smartphone
I don't see it mentioning cpu or multitasking. And if that is your definition then the original iPhone wasn't a smartphone. The iPhones didn't start
multitasking until the 4 was released.

Ok... got it. You will limit the definition of a "smartphone" to what you want it to be thus making sure that you can prove you point. Sorry, a "dumb phone" was my Motorola StarTac phone. Made and received calls and that was about it.

The iPhone was the world's first smartphone? Really? I remember using the BlackBerry Pearl in 2006... a year before the first iPhone was release. That was a pretty smart phone at the time

Instead of complaining about how much money your dad will GIVE you for a computer, how about you get a JOB and buy your own stinking computer.

kbenton00 reacted to Glenwing in Intel caught lying - Skylake does not support proper DDR 3 memory
Oh for goodness' sake... It was made clear from the very beginning that Skylake does not support DDR3. It supports DDR3L. Intel never said it supported DDR3 and this was specifically mentioned over and over again by Intel and by various review sites and youtubers, and yet people kept plugging their ears and practicing some really quite amazing selective hearing, because I guess they just really wanted it to support DDR3. And it turns out, it doesn't. No surprises here. To be up in arms about it is just ridiculous.

kbenton00 got a reaction from ZmanFTW in Can you install a gtx 970 in a system that has gtx 980 in sli?
You are correct.. the aux monitors will not be used for gaming.... so they do not need the benefits of running on the 980's in SLI. It is currently setup this way and is working great. The center monitor is running the game (currently BF4), right monitor is running the battlelog and battlemap so I can keep an eye on the whole map, left monitor is running Asus AI suite so I can keep an eye on my overclock (currently 4.5Ghz on the i7-5930k) and Nvidia investigator to keep on eye on the gpu temps, and the top monitor is running twitch so I can monitor my stream (when streaming) and/or teamspeak and other misc programs.
As for the Acer monitor... been keeping my eye on that but not sure if I want to jump on it right away,,, most new products have growing pains as the Asus Swift can attest to.

The motherboard is an Asus Rampage V Extreme running an i7-5930k cpu. The slots are running at 16,8 and 8.
ZmanFTW,
I'm using the 970 to drive 4 aux monitors and not dedicating it solely to PhysX. As for 3-way SLI, in reading up on running 980's in 3-way SLI in certain games the fps actually
drops. So yes, I could have gone 3-way SLI but I get what I need from 2-way and with a monitor upgrade happening in the future I felt that running a 2-way with a dedicated aux monitor card was a better solution. When I look at the specs of the 750 or 750ti then I see only 3 video ports (dvi-i, dvi-d and mini-hdmi) so it can't run four monitors as far as I can tell.
