What have they said that is at all controversial here? All of the games they've listed have ratings that clearly label them as not for kids.

When I read this forum... I see a bunch of people who are addicted to their video games. They will say anything to defend their addiction.

I dont argue with a Kid about things he cant understand. Your Parents should be visited by the youth office.

Actually with age comes wisdom. The reason kids think they are smart is because they are prideful. Pride comes before fall. Youth have a problem with authority and will never say they were wrong. People with age have experience and wisdom.

    Don't be prideful

I see many kids and teens here think they know anything about anything. Let me tell you something and dont take it personal. You know nothing. You are not wise or mature nore can you judge whats good or bad for you. Thast is what your parents are for. And i see many parents here are failing on that. The state should punish them for bring their kids in danger like that.

VR is 100% not a gimmick. I've used it a few times and it's definitely going to be a major part of the future of gaming in my opinion.

I'm not saying they are. The labels on medicines are advice as well. It's not the case that all people under 12 will be adversely affected by paracetamol, it's down to body weight mostly, so the parent can still have judgement there. If you have a very small child even if they're 15 it might still not be a great idea to give them a full dose. Just with ERSB ratings, they're guidelines saying that "we think most children this age and older will be fine with this product" but ultimately the parent can decide (more so in the case of the games obviously).

First build I did months of research and planning. When I got into building I had anti static mat, wrist band, and built it in my under-roos to avoid any risk.

Most recent - I spent a few hours researching and buying parts. During build time I was fully clothed, eating a wendys burger in one hand while my other jabbed the mobo with a screwdriver.

End result in both cases = Functional PC

You're going to stress yourself out - just let it be. Also don't bother worrying about getting parts that will be outdated (unless you're purposely buying old parts). No matter how new you go, some company is going to announce a slightly better version right after get your parts. If you keep waiting you'll never have a PC lol

side note: I didn't read you whole story soooooo I might have completely went off topic

In 1987, when floppy drives were $600 a piece, I "took apart" a malfunctioning 5.25" floppy drive to "fix" it.  Never did get it back together and working properly.  Sent it to the factory for warranty service, they purported to 'fix' it, but even the factory couldn't seem to service it properly.

~1997 or so, had to move some servers in the office that we really, really didn't want to shut down during the move (I know, terrible idea).  So, hooked to UPS's, we unplugged the UPS' from the wall and let them continue running, and put everything on a cart.  Unfortunately I grabbed the AC power cord for the UPS, and the cord was back-energized by the UPS itself.  My whole hand felt like it was on fire.

Was in the lab one day, and watched as a technician hooked a board that needed a 5V power supply up to a 24V supply.  (they looked identical, except for a small label).  20 seconds later he couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, but noted that the chip seemed excessively hot.  A $2000 FPGA board fried.

I have made a lot of stupid mistakes:
-buying a cheap no name psu (I remember my dad coming to my room asking: is there something on fire?)
-Overclocking an Athlon 760k on a cheap motherboard (pushing for 4.8 Ghz caused me to see little flames through my window)
-Not waiting an extra week so I could afford a 1TB hdd, a proper psu and 8 GB of ram.
    -Buying a FX-8350 when I could get a 3570k for €30 less
    -Buying a r7 250
-Knowingly using a GPU without working fans
-Attemting to install a desktop gpu in a laptop (FYI, I was 10)
    -Cooling my laptop with ice...

Didn't read this post until I started making this one. Really cool idea, and I hope it gets rolled out more widely.

Huh, that's not what I mean. People have asked if I'm actually 15/16. And I have played very well as a 20 year old. I'm am the most shy person in real life but I really can convince people I am a different age because I act. I don't do the stupid shit other kids my age do. Some of my friends had their first kiss at 11. Fuck, I've liked 1 girl, and that was because she was my best friend for 3 years but she started to act like a super big bitch. That basically ruined any relationship I built up with her. People joke around about it with me, and it pisses me off because I know kids my age shouldn't act like that. lt's quite disappointing being around them but being 13 people will always think I'm a deceiving ass that doesn't know shit. You know how hard that is? Most adults don't instantly trust what I'm saying is true because I'm 13. It's a shitty period to try to start building your own business but guess what? I have to deal with it because of people who are dicks and treat us teens like shit. Most of us act rebellious because people treat us like we all are. It ruins our repudiation.

It's still not scripted in the slightest. Ultimately it's just an opinion but I really like it so far. The main change I like though is the longer episodes.
