  1. You should get a Corsair RM550x power supply.
  2. You need to also change SSID names and passwords to match the main provider Change the default user and password in Advanced > System Tools > Password
  3. You will need to disable DHCP on that router and then plug the router into the other router and make sure both port you plugging into are LAN ports.
  4. How does your interface look like: Option A Option B
  5. If there isn't the option for that mode then you can make the router a Access point mode only but disabling DHCP as that would be the job of the other router on your network. Follow these instructions https://gist.github.com/rosswd/15d8e9d53213bb6d69565e2ca0fd3f95
  6. Login into the router and go onto advance mode and click on operational mode and there you will see the option for access point mode.
  7. If your old router doesn't have AP support, you could possibly flash a custom firmware that might enable AP mode.
  8. I tried both booting with ram installed and not installed. Also it's one stick of ram, which I know it's not recommended. .
  9. Currently the motherboard is on a cardboard box and its still having the same issue.
  10. So I just build my first PC and went to power it, which it did for a split second and turned off and in that split second the motherboard light code said 00. Then I went on the internet to find a solution. I then decided to diagnose the problem by taking the PC apart and testing each part to see which one was causing the problem. Prior to this problem occurring I had the computer set up on a cardboard for a few weeks and everything was working until I move everything to a case. So back to what I was saying I found out which part was causing the issue and it was the 8 pin power connector for the CPU, as removing the power connect made the PC not turn on and off in a split second. I am not sure how to fix this problem but it may not even be fixable in the first place. Here is specs for the PC: Intel Core i5 6600k ASUS MAXIMUS VIII HERO (all the lights seem to be working if that is any help) Corsair RM650X (brand new only used for couple of weeks) MSI GTX 980 8GB of ram (which I removed)
