  1. That might be required. Which 1050ti do you have? One with or without additional pcie power connectors? Sometimes those dell and hp machines don't work well with gpus that are not specifically verified for the pcs as dell and hp sometimes mess with the power supply over the pcie connector.
  2. You should quote people in your response otherwise we don't get a notification of your reply. If you open the Windows Defender Firewall you should see and etry in the left menu called "restore defaults". Click that, restart your pc and see if the message is still there.
  3. If your pc turns on and boots windows with the gpu then you only need to install the nvidia driver and that's it. Just make sure to plug the monitor into the gpu and not the mainboard before booting
  4. You are new to the internet? Put a space after is and switch ae.
  5. You can always check the event log for further information. Maybe the message is just very badly written and is supposed to mean something completely different. Defender logs are found here: Application and Service / Microsoft / Windows / Windows Defender Usually every message is listed there.
  6. You tried reinstalling the gpu driver (after clean uninstall), reslotting the gpu, check the connection of the power cables?
  7. I don't know how accurate these results are but you can select a game and then filter by components. http://www.userbenchmark.com/Search?searchTerm=FPS
  8. I had the exact same issue with my Galaxy Alpha. The battery was dead after 3 - 4 hours of idle. It happens extremely random and a restart of the phone fixed it 'til next time. I installed Aida 64 (yes there is a mobile app of it) and took a look at what's going on. I noticed that the cpu was under 100% load constantly and looking at the running services it was the android system itself that consumed all cpu power. Unfortunately until this date I could not fix the problem since a factory reset and even installing a different os (official Norway os version from Samsung) through odin did not solve the issue. My guess is that some task crashes and causes a very high cpu usage which drains the battery. Which task it is is unknown to me.
  9. Well we better add another one to the list. "White male".. anything to say? Source: https://de.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/9e2n9t/battlefield_v_censors_white_man_in_the_chat/
  10. Well without any spare parts it gets kinda tricky to do some testing. How should we rule out a component if we can't replace it? Yes you could have another faulty component but it's impossible to tell without replacing. You might be just unlucky and got a faulty gpu as RMA. The only proper testing we could do is either putting a different gpu in one that is guarantee to work, change the psu to rule that out or change the mobo to rule that out. But without spare parts that is rather difficult.
  11. Normally the gpu box only includes molex or sata adapter cables. But there should be no need to use them so stick with the pcie cables which are included with your psu. A single cable with two 8pins is enough.
  12. At this point you can completely let go of any censorship. We are old enough after all. But yea I keep forgetting that it's 2018... So... there is that.
  13. I really really like this game to succed. But at this point I really really really like it to crash and burn. Such a waste. You got to be kidding me..
  14. PLEASE KEEP IT CIVIL AS THIS COULD BE A TOUCHY SUBJECT So I played the open beta with some friends now and except of the usual things people complain about we found it oddly amusing and really sad that the ingame chat is now censored and not to little either. While I don't completely disagree with censoring bad language there just is a point where it gets too far. Just try to type the words "Gay", "Jew", "DLC" or "White male" in chat and take a look. Yeah it will just write "*****" in chat. Anything more to say?
  15. Yes coil whine can change. It depends on multiple factors like how big the load on the chip is what framerate and refresh rate you're playing at and the usual wear of the component. A lot of cards do have a lot of coil whine. For example the fury line up from amd. However these cards can still last a long time. So it is really difficult to tell if your card is about to go down. As long as you still have warranty on the card and the coil whine doesn't get super load I wouldn't worry.
  16. How do you know that it's the memory that gets so toasty? Usually memory doesn't heat up THAT much...
  17. Now I wonder if this could work with a dedicated amd gpu as well and not just with the igpu.
  18. According to the crash dump file your gpu driver crashed and couldn’t be recovered. I would advise to uninstall Wallpaper Engine and your gpu driver and reinstall them again. You should be able to do this from save mode.
  19. So you got any issues with your system? A bit more context of why you think you have an issue that needs fixing would be helpful.
  20. Reaching ~140 fps should be possible with a 2600x. You definitely should overclock the cpu for best result. Just don't expect to constantly get 140 fps because it's PUBG after all. What GPU do you have and what motherboard are you planning to get? Also I highly advice to get 3000Mhz + ram since Ryzen loves ram speed.
  21. Yes you should use a gpu for 3D stuff. But - well - it depends if the program you are using even utilizes a gpu. So you want to check that. The Titan X is clearly the better choice. Simply because the C2070 is an old card by now. (If I'm not living in some strange world that is).
  22. If you don't notice any problematic behaviour, crashes or those kinds of things I would archive this as Windows being Windows. Sure you could do a clean installation of your gpu driver, check if the gpu is slotted in correctly but this will most likely not fix this as a) the nvidia driver is not active during this stage and b) you should notice other problems during regular use, which you don't. So I would ignore it.
