  1. That's true, I get about 10% higher than the quoted speeds with Charter.
  2. Why? I purposely charge through my computer for the slower charging rates.
  3. I find Verizon tends to be much worse than T-Mobile in southern california with T-Mobile having much better coverage and especially speeds than Verizon. In addition, despite Verizon's claim that they have the best coverage, which they probably do in the US, having an extremely weak signal shouldn't count because it's basically useless and a huge battery drain.
  4. Nope they're not exactly screwing you over because they advertise speeds up to 60 megs and the real world you can't expect to get that speed from every website or server.
  5. They use Qualcomm chips in China and the USA because of CDMA support.
  6. Realistically for me, that's not an issue at all- I never use the headphone jack on my S7 and I've also noticed that the headphone jacks on iPhones are much tighter than Android phones.
  7. An rsim or something similar is an interposer sim which is inserted between the sim card and the sim card tray. You can simply take the sim card tray out and observe it, if there's nothing sitting between the sim card and the sim card tray, then your phone is most likely officially unlocked.
  8. Zagg has a full tempered glass screen protector out but I hear it is complete garbage.
  9. Ever since AMD showed the performance of the 480 in crossfire, every noob "enthusiast" wants dual 480s. Please for the love of pc gaming, don't go for multiple low end graphics cards, you WILL regret it no matter how much your ego tells you it's worth it. Go for the 1070.
  10. Oh I thought that was an android thing. There's a setting in ios that forces the volume button to only adjust media volume and I miss that using Android now.
  11. The only way to remove the icloud activation lock is to disable find my iphone before wiping it.
  12. You can try running it at multiples of 60 because the way vsync works is that it locks it to your refresh rate, commonly 60hz, and if you dip below it, it drops it to 30. Therefore, as long as you maintain multiples of 60, you should be able to avoid screen tearing. You can try capping your framerate in CCC to 120hz.
  13. But can they force you to use the correct finger?
  14. I would recommend to get one from a reputable company that charges the slowest because heats kills batteries and the higher current creates a lot more heat, killing your battery quicker.
  15. So.... what can we expect? Another "flagship" which in reality is high end specs paired with a compromised experience?
  16. The chances of getting a new unit is next to zero, the chance of getting a refurb back is pretty much 100%. It's just a question of how much they charge you to replace the screen.
  17. GTX680>GTX960 $499 vs $199 Same performance, oooo so revolutionary
  18. I'm comparing 480 at it's best benchmark by using the worst possible performance from cfx scaling- half the performance of the 1080.
  19. The 480 at worst will perform roughly similar to the 390 which is barely slower than the 390x. The 390 can be had for under $300, making the 480 with a reference cooler, 33% cheaper. The 980ti is around $550, making the 1070 which performs similarly, 30% cheaper. So, if you compare current gen hardware, the expected performance roughly lines up with the msrp.
  20. You can check the modem logs (192.168.100.1) or router logs (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or even sometimes 192.168.10.1) and see the uptime or when it actually rebooted. Most of the time, you are able to use your own modem and save on the montly modem rental fee, but you will have to check with your isp.
  21. I think you'll be able to get around 30-40fps on 1080p ultra if you have an i7. This game seems to favor multiple fast cpu cores. http://www.techspot.com/review/1180-overwatch-benchmarks/page2.html
