  1. So i just recently replaced my MSI gs65 cpu fan (i7-8750h, 1060) with one i got off ebay (original died on me). the issue im running into is it seems the fan i got has an rpm max of 5000 instead of 6000 like the original one did. replacing the motherboard requires an entire motherboard flip and i do not want to go through that again just to run into the same problem. essentially what im asking is if this is ok for me to continue running. the temps i get when stress testing is about 90c on the cpu and about 86c when playing a gpu heavy game. would i be ok just slapping a laptop cooler under it?
  2. Real pleb hours, just bough an msi gs-65 (1060). gonna be selling my tower soon. RIP.

  3. depends on the software but from what others with experience have told me, 32gb is a decent amount.
  4. ryzen 2600 isnt a bad option, although your cpu is your bottleneck i do suggest a gpu upgrade to a 2060/1660ti you would pretty much double your fps.
  5. it really boggles me that an iphone beats out most u class cpus in performance. like how dey do dat.

  6. ended up getting a 3rd gen x1 carbon with a 2k touch display for 250 off of offerup about 2 weeks ago. love this thing to death.

  11. whats your budget? the HP spectre series is very good. But if you want power you can also look into the msi ghost pro though i dont think a touch screen model exists. if you want a two in one with a quad core thats thin and has a desktop grade gpu for a good price this is a good option though you would want to get an ssd for it asap https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Laptop-Touch-i7-8550U-GeForce/dp/B0756TSZCT
  12. if i remember asus boards correctly asus boards have the ability to flash the bios of the board through usb without a cpu, look into that first.
