@ForsakenLiveI've only looked at the HXi line-up. Not familiar at all with the older HX.

Oh right, the cables bothered me a bit on the HXi. No sleeving, all ribboned. Might stick with the RM850i cause of that. And maybe i'm a bit too hung up on the Link feature of the PSU...

@STRMfrmXMN Was looking at the G2 before i ended up on Corsair. Saw the G3 reviewed, wanted it but nobody has it -.- Not sure if it's just Germany that's lagging behind. Also, G3 is 150mm long.. nice *.*

For the AIO go with the X61, better performer then your mentioned and not as expensive as the new follow up X62 (atleast here in NL since you talk in euro's). Also the NZXT ones can run more silent then the Corsairs The X52 is also new henche why so expensive because these where recently released. For performance overall the bigger rad the better since it's more area for cooling. The mentioned X61 has a 280 rad.

For CPU I would go 6800K. On it's own and for your work use it's a bit better performer and can atleast OC just as high or higher overall to what I read. But up to if you find it worth that extra dosh.

The 1070 seems like  a fine choice. As for the 980Ti mentioned it really depends on use scenario: they are trading blows mostly. But there are some situations it seems where the 1070 shines over the 980Ti for his workloads. Combined with the better gaming performance (even though that is not highest priority) would stay with the 1070.

@niekster: Saw some posts about the CX models being overrated by  100W or so... and not that many reviews (i think none) on the 500W model. Maybe you can post the link of the site where you wanna buy your components from and give us an idea of what your price-range is for the PSU :) I think i kind of avoided these PSUs because of the lack of reviews and feedback on them, even if they're from corsair.

@Raptus: Yeah, the Ti is 240 as well in my area but the non-ti is 160, so quite a difference there...
