Yup I agree with the others. If you are unhappy with your setup now and have the cash to spare do it. 1-1.5k gets you a pretty dank setup. Plus like @Vasllo said, taking some parts from your current build will save money to put towards better parts. Stuff like HDD, PSU, case can all be re-used. But I have two ideas for you.

    1. Upgrade your current build. IF YOU ARE WILLING, the used market is a goldmine for your generation of parts. Yes, it's technically a "dead-end" platform but you could save some money going this route. I flip computers on the side and have gotten some pretty nuts prices on parts. If you are willing to find an i7-4770 dell desktop and swap your CPU, boom. Your gaming experience just got way better. AND you can sell that Dell system for about $60-$80 on the used market. Add another 8gb of ram and the last thing is your gpu. An i7-4770 can honestly keep up with a 1080ti in most games. The quad-core i7s are starting to suffer in the 1% lows but if you can upgrade your build for $400-600 that's a good deal to me. If you have questions or need help with used pricing, I'd be happy to help you find good deals in your area (If you are in the US).

    2. Go Ryzen. It's easier to just buy all new parts and the warranties are nice. So for 1-1.5k you could get a killer build. This forum has tons of advice, build guides and knowledge. pcpartpicker.com is a great website for planning parts. It checks compatibility and finds the cheapest prices for parts from different sellers. I spend way to much time on this site.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

The B450 Aorus Pro has the same VRM as the X470 Aorus Ultra. The X470 would probably have more overclocking features to mess around with compared to a B450. But if all you care about is how strong the VRM is, get the B450 Aorus Pro.

I think you can get RX570's for not much more. I'd just grab one of those. Not only will you get significantly better performance, you'll also have an easier time reselling it.

From what I've found on Ebay in my location (DE), $65 would only be a good price for a 4GB version of the card.
Also you could check, if you mainboard supports the xeon X34xx series. The xeon x3460 seems to be a good deal and would give you 2 more cores, at lower clock speeds though... Also some ram would be a nice to have

if you have the spare money or can save it easily enough, then there is no reason not to, if it is something you want to do, that said are you going to be putting yourself sort to afford the pc? if not then go for it as it would be a fairly decent machine, all be it a little heavy and not very portable, and will most likely ruin 30fps gaming for you as you will have seen better

If you're unhappy with your current setup, you should upgrade it, that's pretty much the most important point.

You can get some money back selling your parts and keep a few, maybe the case, HD and PSU, and upgrade the rest. I would go with a R5 3600, 16GB and the best GPU you can afford. But also, don't throw all this hardware at a 1080p 60hz monitor, as @Cigano said, you'll need a better monitor to actually use an RTX 2070's power (and I recommend an RTX 2060 Super BTW).

Theburninbeaver got a reaction from Ophidio in Floatplane bundles should be a thing and here is why.
I watched Nov. 4th's WAN show and they were talking about how people were wanting to have bundles options for Floatplane instead of paying 3 dollars to every creator on the site. The issue is, if you are "subscribed" to 50 "youtubers" on Floatplane you would be spending $150 a month just supporting those creators. Not sure about you, but that's more than my internet and cable bill combined.... I understand that right now it is just Bitwit and LTT on Floatplane and not having a bundle system for just two creators is fine for now. But when you eventually get more creators on your site, you are going to run into a problem where people don't have that much money to toss at every creator they want to support. I have heard the excuse that it's only suppose to be for your FAVORITE creators but come on. I wouldn't be watching them if I didn't like them and want to support what they do.

I'm sure they are having talks about how to handle multiple creators being "subscribed" too and how payment should work but on this latest WAN show, they talked about how they want Floatplane to not be a platform like Vessel or Youtube Red (where it's a monthly charge that gets divided among your subscribed creators). Which, I don't understand why. It's the perfect storm for that kind of product right now. Youtube is screwing over creators, youtubers are looking to over sources of income like patreon (and patreons website is not setup for video content being available like Floatplane seems to be), and there are, I'm sure, tons of people looking for some way to support their favorite creators but are scared to give their money to these big companies because we know how it gets mishandled.

A bundle system would be a great way to get more people to want to get involved in Floatplane when it gets more creators. Especially having a system where you can pick the creators you want your money to go towards would be an awesome ability. Having a tiered system I feel like would work well. Say it's $10 or $15 a month for 1-5 creators and $15 or $20 for 6-10. This way, the creators are still getting a decent amount split between that monthly sum and it encourages someone to actually start "subscribing" with float plane because it isn't crazy expensive. As you ad more, it would obviously get cheaper per creator, but some money is better than no money at all. Also, have an option to donate straight from Floatplane to the creator, kind of like patreon. This way LTT makes more money off donations to keep Floatplane running and the creators make more money to encourage more videos on the site. If there are people willing to do $10 or $50 tiers on patreon, this should definitely be a welcome and used feature on Floatplane (the bonus is, it's a better video platform than patreon and the creators on the website aren't scummy people). One issue I had with Youtube Red is I didn't care about google play being some of that purchase. I would have done the program if they took $2.50 or $5 of the monthly cost and allowed me just to give money to the creators. I care about where my money goes and DO NOT want it going to something or someone I don't care about. Having that choice is a HUGE thing for me.

TLDR; Having a bundle will encourage people to actually purchase the "subscription" because they won't be paying cable/internet size bills when you have more creators involved on Floatplane that you are "subscribed" too. Also adding a donate feature per creator or multiple creators like patreon would allow viewers who want to donate more, a place to do so with a great video platform attached and would allow LTT and the creators to support making the content on the site better.

Honestly, I'd like to hear your guy's opinions. I tried to think about every loop hole to see if this could work, and it's a proven system (Youtube Red and Vessel) but the issue is the companies behind these projects are just in it for the money and either sell out immediately (Vessel) or just become horrible companies that you don't want to support (Youtube). But give me your opinions and let me know if I missed something.

    Thanks!
