great news . obviously they will use the SteamVR/OpenVR since anything else would make it incompatible with steam VR games but either way after trying DK2 ,current tech is crap. 4k and 130+ FOV for me is a minimum or maybe 2K+ with RGB instead of pentile etc

This is pretty awesome it uses the phison S10 controller which seems like the only good controllers out there vs the samsung controllers but its a bit pricier that the competition so thats why u dont see a lot of them. Uses Toshiba;s TLC Toggle 2.0 NANDs which brings down the price quite a bit but its performance is "ok" since its not stacked like samsung's V-NAND Cons: after the SLC cache is used up the true performance of the TLC nands shows up at writes of ~350Mb/s which makes me wonder why they used a high end controller instead of something like Imagination's controllers which is pretty good for the price all this = 240$ for a 1TB drive . i recall that it did exist and the reason they chose Cryengine was because of how vehicle "usage" in the engine was mature anyways it was a better choice for them to go with cry engine
