  1. well its worth spending extra on a good cooler for your gpu. for better cooling and lower noise. pc noise bother me too. ya speed fan is something alright. if you do buy a new gpu and your not satisfied with it you can add your own fans too it and get really good cooling in the process but will vode the warranty. one thing you can do is look for a parts gpu and use that heat sink from it. there's a cable that lest you hook up 4pin pwm fans to the gpu if you still want it controlled by the gpu. aside note hhd sound drives me nuts and when i got an ssd i could never go back. but now a days you can go m.2. also lowing your gpu fan speed when it normlay would have ramped up will lower the life of the gpu. heat kills. but it should be dead silent not gaming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yQHAMz1v5g there also the after market cooler that artic cooler makes as well. https://www.arctic.ac/worldwide_en/products/cooling/vga.html and water cooling as well. oh and about the fans in your case wont last for ever so most likely you will need to replace them. looks like that case came with cheap fans. there are premium case that do come with good fans but there some premium case that don't. back in the day non really came with premium case fans but back then people cared less about looks and how it preforms but now a days people really do care about it. my story with noes is i had a really big case and i got cheap fans only becuse they were orange and i filled all 38 fans. not becuse i had too but becuse i wanted too....anyway here and there 1 would start making some noes and it what a mission to find what fan was making it. at some point i got so mad i riped all the fans out and sold them for $40. funny now i dont the same thing buying lots of fans for my case but there premium fans thow haha as for the stroy of a nose gpu i got the cheapest 1060 3gb at the time (zotac) and it had 1 small fan on it and it was a bit loude when games so i desided to sell it now were it was still worth something. payed $315 for it and sold it for $280. but at that time the gpu mining had stated up and people were using 1060 but i dint no that so i could have sold it for more then i payed for it....oh well win some loss some. i did eneded geting the geforce winforce 1070 g1 witch is the cheapes 1070 at the time or the cheapes with 3 fans on it and its allgiht i got what i payed for. i alos had the gtx 760 win force as well that was alright too. so point is spending a little more for better cooler can go along way.
  2. i get that you want to put an rgb strip to light up the back of the mb to show off your cable management. im guessing your using the include rgb fans with that case and the controller with it. so you have the controller going to 1 12v rgb on your mb and you said 1 12v rgb for the wraith prism. so if you only have 2 12v rgb headers on your mb you will need a hub to have more so you can hook up the rgb strips. i think your asking can you hook up and rgb strip to that generic rgb hub? its be too hard to find a strip to fit it as you need to no what connector it is so forget about it. if you dont want a pcb rgb hub then just a 12v 4 pin rgb spliter cable will work too https://www.amazon.ca/Aexit-Accessories-Waterproof-Connector-Connectors/dp/B07L9N9KRC/ref=sr_1_55?keywords=rgb+splitter&qid=1564892354&s=electronics&sr=1-55
  3. all Corsair rgb products all sync with each other. you will need an lighting node or commander controller to use the rgb fans.
  4. hey you mean sata power do you mean like a molex or sata powered controller? something like this? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32891607573.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.1c1472e6unZsMI&algo_pvid=6b064a8d-76a6-4fef-9ef3-5c5951331eb5&algo_expid=6b064a8d-76a6-4fef-9ef3-5c5951331eb5-4&btsid=1198be73-6eb1-49e0-aef2-b58cebbb6bf1&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 if you want to control that 5v argb with a 4pin 12v mb header the link w-l will work. the deepcool adapter.
  5. all rgb is that all leds show the same color at once were argb each led can have a different color. i think you can do custom colors with corsair and maybe thermaltake but its also costly. there might be a cheap controller that has a remote that can select form many modes but its just be a guess if it flashes white and purple. imo ied just buy a mb that has both 5v and 12v. as for that the mb software can do that i dont no i have not used any mb software yet. i did just buy a am4 mb and it has both 5v and 12v so at some point ill dive in to it. keep in mind each mb software can be different from each other.
  6. there are 4 pin and 3 pin rgb hubs. there also one that can do both but only 1 at a time. i also found one that is 5v and has ex power for sata or molex imo the lamptron probably best quality but cost the most. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07R8X1XJV/?coliid=I3CECPJGNEZ70Y&colid=1FAOHYDQQPCKN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.ca/GMSP-Splitter-Magnetic-Standoff-Controller/dp/B07TXVTKXV/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=rgb+hub&qid=1564808756&s=electronics&sr=1-26 https://www.amazon.ca/Almencla-Controller-Splitter-Motherboard-Accessory/dp/B07T9D5FDY/ref=sr_1_35?keywords=rgb+hub&qid=1564808793&s=electronics&sr=1-35 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32968494531.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.73a82015sF4I6C&algo_pvid=2c6b6c29-c5ca-42c4-aaa1-b3bd73bec76e&algo_expid=2c6b6c29-c5ca-42c4-aaa1-b3bd73bec76e-1&btsid=4cb866c6-d6b0-44f4-9935-df8ce38dfd89&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 heres a weird muisc one???? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32971074497.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.73a82015sF4I6C&algo_pvid=2c6b6c29-c5ca-42c4-aaa1-b3bd73bec76e&algo_expid=2c6b6c29-c5ca-42c4-aaa1-b3bd73bec76e-24&btsid=4cb866c6-d6b0-44f4-9935-df8ce38dfd89&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_5 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32950238440.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.73a82015sF4I6C&algo_pvid=2c6b6c29-c5ca-42c4-aaa1-b3bd73bec76e&algo_expid=2c6b6c29-c5ca-42c4-aaa1-b3bd73bec76e-28&btsid=4cb866c6-d6b0-44f4-9935-df8ce38dfd89&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 as for that hub we ill need a better pic of the connector. but at some point it will be guessing on what connector it is. i no cooler master uses a connector like that but its 4 pin but i think thermal take rgb hub has more then 4. but i don't no just jugging for the pic. also many of the ganeric rgb fans use conetors like that. https://www.thermaltake.com/tt-sync-controller-tt-premium-edition.html
  7. seems like the connector is so new its not mane stream yet.... https://www.newnex.com/usb-connector-type-guide.php i think its called usb 3.1 type-e but the name seems to change....
  8. there are way more virtual gpu mounts then just that one. there ones that you don't have to cut up your case. https://www.moddiy.com/products/HDMI-Extension-Cable-PCI-Expansion-Slot-Bracket-Cover-(Full-Profile).html https://www.moddiy.com/products/2x-HDMI-Extension-Cable-PCI-Expansion-Slot-Bracket-Cover-Full-Profile.html https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07MMMDTNQ/?coliid=I1PTFBL793DGUY&colid=1FAOHYDQQPCKN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33062883261.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.5a0c60ebwMMdEd&algo_pvid=76ebd1b3-3787-4a8f-847a-ac11bffb6657&algo_expid=76ebd1b3-3787-4a8f-847a-ac11bffb6657-24&btsid=cdebc3e4-7d0b-4e46-80cf-065d57e7759f&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000049856224.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.3bf91ed0Ss1ksd&algo_pvid=e58ebb84-25e6-4125-8abb-a03938dfbf73&algo_expid=e58ebb84-25e6-4125-8abb-a03938dfbf73-6&btsid=acbd394b-6440-4d39-9b7d-c58facb21a96&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32860347296.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.15e37585ucO34Q&algo_pvid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba&algo_expid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba-13&btsid=6f61d590-208a-4f43-a1fe-0bacc8c10a44&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33050084311.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.15e37585ucO34Q&algo_pvid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba&algo_expid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba-10&btsid=6f61d590-208a-4f43-a1fe-0bacc8c10a44&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33044554291.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.15e37585ucO34Q&algo_pvid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba&algo_expid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba-18&btsid=6f61d590-208a-4f43-a1fe-0bacc8c10a44&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33043301217.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.15e37585ucO34Q&algo_pvid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba&algo_expid=f7fd5b45-ba54-4c72-bc33-230d9b5063ba-28&btsid=6f61d590-208a-4f43-a1fe-0bacc8c10a44&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32898650375.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.15e37585ucO34Q&algo_pvid=a0af34a5-4571-4655-bfb1-c1fd8e8f5e93&algo_expid=a0af34a5-4571-4655-bfb1-c1fd8e8f5e93-30&btsid=41a7d13a-6516-45cf-9c3e-867c093d48e5&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32963694333.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.15e37585ucO34Q&algo_pvid=ec36f65a-78a5-4c8b-a40f-be4605ee7805&algo_expid=ec36f65a-78a5-4c8b-a40f-be4605ee7805-37&btsid=2bad02e7-2d18-4e0d-9fef-4f190c197838&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53 https://store.cablemod.com/product/cablemod-vertical-pci-e-bracket-2-x-displayport-black/ https://www.amazon.com/Kaislin-Vertical-Graphics-Bracket-Support/dp/B07C4VNQY1 https://www.amazon.com/Graphics-Vertical-Kickstand-Magnetic-Extension/dp/B07JR3M6T4/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=vertical+graphics+card+holder&qid=1564793461&s=electronics&sr=1-5 https://www.amazon.com/Itlovely-Aluminum-Graphics-Converted-Computer/dp/B07T9QS1VP/ref=sr_1_34?keywords=vertical+graphics+card+holder&qid=1564793520&s=electronics&sr=1-34 https://www.amazon.com/Itlovely-Graphics-Vertical-Internal-Brackets/dp/B07TJWPS78/ref=sr_1_46?keywords=vertical+graphics+card+holder&qid=1564793544&s=electronics&sr=1-46 https://mnpctech.com/case-mods-gaming-pc-liquid-modding-custom-computer-mnpctech-overclock-cooling-fan-grills/mnpctech-black-stage-1-vertical-video-card-gpu-mounting-bracket.html https://www.mountainmods.com/product_info.php?products_id=754&osCsid=lac371l9iloo8ma2lsmcaigkt0
  9. good info if your thinking on buying rgb strip. (keep in mind ) it dose not include everything about rgb strips. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnvircC22hU Have 5v argb but only have a 12v controller or mb header this is for you. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07QPYSC82/?coliid=IR6VXZFZJR76A&colid=1FAOHYDQQPCKN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Another rgb converter for 5v and 12v ( ebay link also sell custom corsair cables) https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Solarity-Tech-ArrRGB-DAC-Essential-Bundle/372697341481?hash=item56c67e1e29:m:mADEzp4iBu7b7mW_fSMy4bg https://modmymods.com/solarity-arrrgb-dac-5v-digital-rgb-to-5v-analog-rgb-converter-tt-rgb-fitting-version-syt-0002.html
  10. ya i dont think im going to cable management in the top pedestals there just so much cables. each fan has 2 cables then the corsair led hubs, commander, lighting nodes hub, rgb ram cooler, usb hub, figher out what rgb controllers i want to use, the 2 pwm hubs, there going to be 2 flow meeters to read the rpm so 2 more cables, ill probly set up a hub each for 12v rgb and 5v rgb, not to meatchen 3 psu cables, and the hdmi keystone cables, on top of 8 water lines coming in and out...and i have done nothing to the other pc as in fans and what not haha the other side will just have the rgb fans in front and 6 rad fans. oh and on top of all that there will be 2 wiers from the rgb flow meters, 1 form cpu block, and w/e i deside on res and pump leds. also the rgb stip....ya its going to be a cable hell good thing i cant see it. oh and temp cables 4 of em 1 per loop...24pin and 2 8 pin rgb cables...on and on...
  11. ya having diffident cases is better then having 1 case for 2 systems but what is done is done. i do have a rack as well but il will be for a emulation computer / video game systems. have planes for key stone jacks out the back for hdmi, enet, usb but i think i got shafted off ebay and never did get the enet key stones... hate how you order something and you get nothing. also putting a power button on the out side to power up the pc inside. i order 1 of each adapter so i can use any controller on any system for raphnet so if i want to use a snes controller on my game cube i can. i thought about using a rack for my pc but there was only 1 case that i liked and then you still have to buy rails. i also thought about using the thermal take core x9 and stack 3 of em on top but decided that i wanted my mb vertical so i can drain is easier. but have been way cheaper to buy thow...another idea was to keep my caselabes case and mount another mb in there and find a way to add filters to it. and cut a window.

  13. thx for asking https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/805703-thermaltake-core-wpp200-water-cooled-quad-loop/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-12390441
  14. ya i understand it. i ran 6 fans on my rads that ran off the cpu fan header so i no it works. and i do no that most headers have a max out put of 1 amp. also i read that the more fans the pwm signal gets weaker and wont work pats 10 fans i think. so there are ways of incise the pwm signal but i think most ways is costly or diy only like the arduino. i do no there are adapters that can make a 3 pin fan a pwm fan i have 4 of em. anyway i got 2 phanteks universal fan controllers so they should work. according to phanteks there's no max per channel only a total max of 48wats. so i think i worked it out...we ill see.
  15. i do agree that a sata/molex power the way to go.
  16. i did but only after buying like 6 of em. they were cheap like $3 each so not a huge loss but just letting people no its not a pwm spliter only a fan hub. i was just asking if anyone new a good pwm spliter for cheap and sounds like there's non. so i got the Phanteks Universal Fan Controller now looking at it its $10 cheaper...
  17. even if i used all the fan headers on the mb and use spliter dont think i could do all 38 fans and would look really bad doable but bad.
  18. only the CPU has a PWM duty cycle and all other output run full speed
  19. it all ready has moxes power on it but the pwm dose nothing. only the orange fan header is pwm and thats for the cpu. all it is is a fan hub withc will run all fans at the same speed the molex is set at. but they adverties it as "PWM"
  20. well no reply. i found PHANTEKS Universal PWM fan hub that can take up to 48w total according to PHANTEKS. so i think 2 hubs should do. ill hook 1 up to the cpu header and the other to the gpu using the ek gpu to 4 pin pwm cable. i was looking at aquacomputer Aquaero but that's a lot of money right now.
  21. so i got a few of thows cheap 10 "pwm" hubs and found out there's no pwm at all there just a hub that runs at full power. is there a way to run may fans off of the cpu mb header? and when i mean many i mean like 38 ish fans. i want all 38 fans to ramp up when gaming. i no there are fan controllers like nzxt grid but i would need to buy alot of them.
  22. oh i googled it some more and found out windows 7 dos not have nvme m.2 support. so i guess theres a way to add it to a iso but has to be usb flash drive. so right now i got a micro sdhc uhs-i card in a sd addapter going to usb so ill see if that works. i don't have a flash drive. if it dose work it be a alsome. gigabite usb driver installer m.2 to windows 7 guide
