  1. all usb fans are 5v unlees ther use a buck convertor ot have less amps but more voltage.
  2. ya when it first came out it was broken. and there still is alot of stuff that dose not work and mixing them also can be problematic. that and it basically bloatware... and the options are limited. considering we should be albe to do anything with it but they just give the bare minimum.
  3. bottom mount fans are less common and most cost a bit more. Fractal Design case are good quality form what i heard so its worth the price. having 3x 140mm fans on the bottom and top are also a bit more rare. having 2x fans would make the case shorter. Fractal Design also have case that are different sizes too. new egg and i think pc part picker i think you can shertch case for bottem fans thow on pc park picker it will aslo list case the are dc so can be a bit confusing and some time the info is not right... Antec Performance 1 FT can do 3x 120mm on the bottem 3x 140mm on top but think it cost a bit... Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 3x 120mm on the bottem 3x 140mm on top not a small case thow Lian Li Lancool 216 2x bottem fans Lian Li LANCOOL II MESH 2x bottem fans Lian Li Lancool III 3x bottem fans cost thow Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm lian li evo 2x bottem and top the mount is janky thow... Segotep T1 kinad 3 front 3 back? Antec Performance Series P120 Crystal can do 3x140mm on the bottem but no top and no front just side. ASUS TUF Gaming GT502 can so 3 and 3 im gussing 120mm fans Thermaltake CTE C750 Air can do the most but its a side mb and the pannals dont attach... (i have this case) big case thow... Thermaltake CTE T500 bit smaller Thermaltake CTE T500 TG LIAN LI PC-O11
  4. so as long as ground gos with ground voltage with voltage and data with data you just have to find or make adaptors to connect em. but difrant fans have difrant amount of leds in them and serten anamations are set up for a set amount of leds and having more or less leds can brarake the anamation. uni fans have there own controller witch would be best for the anamations for em, but if you dont care and want like a solid color or a random rainbow then dose not mater so long at the conteoller can power all the leds. some anamations have a set amount of leds. like say one is set for 60 leds and you have 100 leds strip once it gets to the 60 leds it will loop back to the first led. if your talking about hooking argb to rgb no that cant be hooked together.
  5. probably only need one fan in the front and one on the cooler hard to say if you need an exhaust fan. but it would be ideal if both front and cooler fan were the same or simulator in specs.
  6. you want the front full of fans and 1 back fan and posably a top back fan. and fill any bottem fans. i dont see a gpu listed and depneds on cooler for cpu and what cpu some have problems cooling no mater what cooler or case you have.
  7. pwm uses consistent 12v but the pwm tells the fan to be on say 50% and off for 50% and uses the fan mass to keep it spinning. so a power savings of at lest 50%. but depnds on what its set at. the rpm ranges can vary alot more vs dc but w/e dc is were its 100% at 12v and less at less volts. depnds on fan and how much it needs or how low of power it needs to spin. 24v and 48v would be better but pcs dont use it for w/e reason i guess pc fans are to small for thows voltages i guess. i no there are server that used 24v and 48v.
  8. having the res ther highest point or hier then the cpu blocks help keep the bubble out of the cpu block. its normal to see a bubble in the loop. over time it should get better. thow wc now a days is hard to under stand why some need topped up like weekly and other like once evry 6 moths. my guess heat. posably there something blocking the cpu block slowing the flow
  9. its the cheaper version there one that has the 9 pin for usb. will you can plug just 4 pins in and one port will work if you want 2 you would have to buy a pcie 1x card...
  10. it has the info on lian li website. it can be installed up or down
  11. theres alot of things that we dont see like hinged doors.
  12. its been a problem for a long time and number one reason to emulation. nintendo dose not want you to keep playing mario kart when they want you buying and playing the new mario kart. so making new games meh for replayability is the norm. even if you emulate there other problems with it or part plaing on console and part preserving it like a modded console or everdrive. i triyed it on wii i got a mod chip in it and a way i can back up games to a hdd but only like 50% of them worked and i didnt no how to back up the games on the hdd... so i gave up. i buy games when i can and switch games are already expensive and ill everdrive the rest. i do have steam and also use w7 but im building a gaming pc for w/e os to keep playing my steam for now. but buy games on gog when posable. moding games to work off line is an up hill battle. i just got tiberian sun on cd off ebay a moth a go.
  13. hard to say thin can be good with 25mm+ fans a mid size say 45mm rad meh not much but a 60mm rad can also be good. but advoid thin fans when posable like 15mm fans... i would do a thiner rad with 25mm fans in that case. some thicker rads then 65mm+ might need better fans and posably push pull but doing push pull on thinner rads is a wast of money. maybe if there cheap fans then w/e. cheaper fans work better on thinner rads too. buying 2 thinner rads vs one thicker rad is also better if you have space form em.
  14. strong fans are just fans with hier rpm. good fans will be quieter at an rpm vs a cheap fan. if you dont care about nose then cheap fans with hi rpm will work fine. but spending a bit more you can still get a good fan imo with out cut off an arm.
  15. i mean a 3 pack comes with the controller so...? but i think there jst-sm witch if you want to use a different controller you need an adapter for it but there easy to find and the stander for rgb/argb out side pc for since ever. pc stuff FucT it up.
  16. thats why i said with a phantech halo...
  17. bequiet wings pro 4 hi rpm is the best 140mm fan i would think thow there some 120mm fans that would match it. and if you want argb buy some phantech halos.
  18. cases dont have removable mb trays and the ones that do cost alot.
  19. i watch a youtube video about the nes but i dont rember the limits of it but i think it has something to do with how many colors and reusing palets and assets. back in the day alot of things had to be done to make it fit and work now adays we dont have thows problems hence the day one patch.
  20. you have to use msi afterburner to set a fan curve because of how crap they set there fan rpms for gpus. my 1080 when it at 49c its low and 50c it ramps up guess were its at at idle...
  21. well depends on what case you have and what setup you have now. gpu exhaust the heat towards the side so having fans on bottom helps push it up and front fans push it back. case that dont have bottom fans need good front fans to push it towards the back so in that case i would put 2 top fans as exhaust. back and middle fan. well the cpu will add some heat i guess the top back and back fan should help exhaust. aio is a different setup. basicly you want it in from front/ bottem and out the back and top. gpus are really wide these days witch make it vary close to the side as it exhaust some gos up and some down and the gpu can suck it back in this is were bottom fans help push it up in theory.
