The G3 from LG is the first phone I've used with a 2560x1440 display. That's a lotta pixels! Not to mention the rest of the top-of-the-range specs!

Please note that they are retail units (in the video I said pre-production, but this has since been changed) and they are Korean unlocked global units, so you will need to verify if they will work correctly on your carrier! To my knowledge they will work on AT&T or T-Mobile, but I got no data - only get voice and SMS on my carrier (Bell) so YMMV.

Please don't call a 64bit phone 'future-proof' because it simply isn't. Taking advantage of 64bit requires so many different things to be in place; The OS, at least 4GB of RAM, Software to take advantage of that.To the OP: I'd hold on a month or two if you can. The new HTC M8 is coming out very soon along with the Galaxy S5. They may tickle your fancy. If you can't wait, I'd consider the Note 3 or the new LG G Pro 2. The latter has a huge 5.9" screen, so it may take some getting used to over your Note 2, but a great phone none the less...once you root it.

I built my computer mainly for gaming, streaming and video editing, perhaps some 3D editing in the future.

3. Why are you upgrading?
I upgraded because my pc because it started to be slow at modern games like Far cry 3 and Crysis 3.
