murpup569 reacted to BobyTheDragon in Computer Unexpectedly Turned On
Im sorry but this just seemed like the perfect moment.
BUT
I've heard that power surges do have the tendencies of turning on a PC. Could of been a small power surge maybe? Or could be a breach in your network?

If you didn't know anything at the start I would of posted it here, And it doesn't really matter too much where these are posted if they have at least something to do with the problem.

When I look at NUCs I can only find really cheap ones with dedicated graphics or expencive ones with a GTX 760 and like an i7 in it.
Why don't they have one with like a pentium g3258 and a 750.
For $100 for a celeron and no RAM the only think that I would use that NUC for is like a media center or something.
I was also looking at a UMPC.
The only thing that I can think of is the
Asrock M8 Compact PC Barebones Kit and a GTX 750 TiBut that will be a little too be fore me.

Not at all mate, happy to help.
The 5.1 market tends to either be cheapish gear or hella expensive gear so I would personally try steer you towards a 2.1 or 2.0 system.
These 3 are my go to's, I've had a great deal of experience with the Swan M10's and was really impressed, But the M20W's will fit into your 200-300 budget nicely and I've heard nothing but good things about them. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=567_568&products_id=27731
If you do get abit of cash then the Swan M50W's are a nice step up too, http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=567_568&products_id=20186
The speakers I've had the most experience though are the Audioengine 2+ and they are amazing in my opinion, http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=567_602&products_id=25719, if you aren't a basshead then these will do on their own, but if you do get abit of extra coin from them Bose speakers you can add a S8 Sub to the system and make it a brilliant 2.1 setup. The amp is $400AUD though so this begins to hit nice 5.1 territory. Once you hit this price point you might be better served with a Swan 5.1 setup http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=567_569&products_id=29712
These are all Australian prices too so they will likely be much cheaper where ever you come from so you might need to do a bit of research into pricing in your area. But all those won't disappoint
Sorry for the lengthy and not well laid out reply

You should use Far Cry 3 or maybe 4 when in comes out.
Why should you?
Far Cry 3/4 is fps and driving some cars have tops on them.
With my oun experience its fine but with that high of a resolution might be wierd unless it have scaling.
I have three 1080p monitors.
I would love to see it run far cry 3/4!!!!!
