Rockstar4007 reacted to Giganizer300PRO in Bios Update?
Good.
Now you aren't that guy who has a Razer mouse and keyboard and everything else color coded red and black.
It is me I am talking about, of course.

Its very likely going to need an update to the F6 BIOS in order to support the 860K. Its very easy to do.Download the file onto a flash drive. Install your friends 5800K since that is supported out of the box. Plug in drive, power on and go directly into the BIOS. There will be an update section, check the manual for the specifics.
Use the new file you put on the USB stick and you're good to go after it restarts.

Rockstar4007 reacted to RobseRob in Crossfire or not
As the others are pointing out you won't benefit much from getting another 260X.
The scaling isn't perfect and you will not get insane performance improvements. I've seen people getting better framerates with an single 270X than two 260X's.

Rockstar4007 reacted to WoodenMarker in Best ATX case for under 100$ Canadian
S340: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-cas340wb1
Compact, hard to do messy cable management, and no external drive bays, good dust filters.
Define R4: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcadefr4blw
Spacious, a bit bigger than other mid towers, fits just about everything, quiet, below-average airflow, good dust filters.
N600:http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-nse600kkn2
Fits most things--less than R4, more compact, mesh allows good airflow, good dust filters.
If you can stretch a bit, the Arc Midi R2 trumps the R4 in everything other than noise and can fit a lot of things: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcaarcr2blw

Rockstar4007 reacted to VincentiusIV in Overheating?
70 degrees is fairly normal. It wont damage the card. The max temp is around 90 degrees, and at 100 degrees the computer will shut itself down to prevent any damage.
If that happens though, RMA the card.
But in your case, you are more then fine. Your R7 260X is not overheating.

Rockstar4007 reacted to WoodenMarker in Safe or not?
You should be fine and there shouldn't be any corruption.

Rockstar4007 reacted to DigitalHermit in Safe or not?
Should be fine... Just try to avoid booting from the laptop drive since the drivers might be completely different...
