  1. Personally I would have dropped the no FFB option and just stated it that if it doesn't have FFB just don't buy it. The G series of wheels is a great starting point to compare against a controller. Maybe spend 75% of the time on your setup Alex to use that now open time to show that mid point wheel on a desk and setup.
  2. Kinda disappointed we go from G27 -> insanity without checking out some of the cheap DD options like the Moza R5 and Fanatec CSL DD. It's a pretty big jump just being able to get all that extra detail and especially the lack of center deadzone
  3. Which makes it such a crappy driver that it likely would have resulted in more complaints than it was worth. Apple should have just signed the damn thing and gotten over themselves but we all know that doesn't seem possible anymore. I believe that AMD will never had a driver for ARM Macs unless pros manage to scream louder than they did over the 2013 Mac Pro but I just don't think Apple will care at that point.
  4. Disappointed when talking about the PCIe setup that you didn't say that it's total potential PCIe bandwidth is only a touch more than your 13900k test bench. (https://social.treehouse.systems/@marcan/110494017883893557) Such a joke of a "pro" product. Only if Apple signs it. Nvidia famously made a Turing driver that Apple told them to fuck off with. (https://appleinsider.com/articles/19/02/14/video-nvidia-support-was-abandoned-in-macos-mojave-and-heres-why)
  5. It has nothing to do with the video. At all. It's only related to the intro bit. There has to be several other click baity crap thumbnails and titles that would actually describe the content. This makes it look like Intel tried to sponsor them for something they didn't like and were going to rant on it.
  6. Alright I've put up with it for years but these last few titles + thumbnails are just absurd. This one might be the worst of three. Subbed since the garage. Sad since this is a good video
  7. Here lemme go get you a cat and oh no! It broke the cable! Enjoy the $1600 desk weight until you send it in.
  8. Glad someone has decided to go to peak Buzzfeed click-bait titles as of recently....
  9. Says it needs to remove the desktop environment. Overrides with terminal Surprised it explodes Linux requires reading everything annoyingly carefully in my experience. Only run it for server level work. Mac (before Big Sur) or Windows for normal usage.
  10. Yeah it runs perfectly fine and hasn't been buggy at all since the second dev channel release. Stop drinking the koolaid.
  11. Not an excuse for these absurd levels of price increases for what are essentially vram doubling and custom I/O. Don't even see ECC support on the VRAM.
  12. Use something like ExFAT. Maximum file sizes are not an issue on that. You may need to jump through some hoops to do so.
  13. @Rem0o On my Asrock Z490 Taichi, the fan controls all randomly change everytime the program is started making it impossible to really use the app. Not really sure what's going on when it scans devices but it doesn't seem to remember them properly.
  14. I own one of these chips. Besides damage I already knew was there, mine has HORRENDOUS core to core deltas of as high as 35c. And this is also direct die. Thank god I don't do full 18 core loads very often.
  15. Even though this thing is no where near good enough for the price, any Mac is not a comparison. Last I checked if I tried to 2-in-1 my pro it would break in half.
  16. I wish we got more reasoning on that expensive AF receiver lol. We have a ~$800 Denon that seems to work really well from what we can tell on a 7.1 setup.
  17. Lol Gigabyte fixing things. They couldn't be assed to put proper ACPI and UEFI on a server board I was using. And that was just one board. Never liked any board from them.
  18. They just keep getting worse. I'm honestly getting close to unsubing they are so horrible. And I've been around since the garage.
  19. GPU Partitioning (SR-IOV sorta kinda) exists in Hyper-V as of a few Windows releases. Unsure if it's on Win server or base windows pro but it's SUPER interesting as a workaround.
  20. This title is so absolutely horrible it makes me want to unsubscribe. Seriously. Stop.
  21. I wouldn't bother with a K80. SLI is dead so no point in two GPU's for this use case. A K40 would be more in line with use. As for gaming on it, you should be able to select it as the high power GPU in windows and have it work for the most part.
  22. Should have just said buy 10th gen while you can lmao. 10850k's can be had UNDER $300.
  23. I doubt it. It's a 4 phase vcore if I'm looking at this right. Why even bother putting such a chip with a low end board?
  24. Why did you guys not think to use your graphite pads to enhance the overall effectiveness of the back panel? I did this with thermal pads on my Pro 16 is nearly completely eliminate GPU throttling in windows. It gets hot but isn't too bad. Something like the air wouldn't be able to heat it up nearly as much. (Pictures are missing 3 other pad spots but oh well)
  25. I recently built a loop for my 2080ti XC Ultra with plenty of thermal headroom (50C under load) but have been unable to find a bios that is able to flash on it. Currently I max out at ~330w. This card does have the older eeprom. Is there anyone with a newer XUSB firmware and higher wattage for reference PCBs?
