BulkyZaNka got a reaction from App4that in Sapphire 390 vs MSI 970. Reliability vs FPS
After I spent a lot of time reading this post that I didn't intend to go on for so long I have settled on the 390, doing some further research I have found that the MSI version of this card isn't half bad. Actually better in most cases, the fact that it has better "silicon lottery", is easier to get in my area and obviously not forgetting about the most important fact, it's nice and red which will fit perfectly with my MSI mobo. Is there anything about that card that I need to know before getting it?
Thanks for all that helped! Bulky

I know how Nvidia lied about the 512MB but it's still an ok card for that price, if your going to have good cooling and you don't care about how loud it is, then you could consider getting a r9 290/290xI have a Seagate and a WD blue a d I'm satisfied with both. Apart from the fact that I have broken sectors in the WD, I have been running it for 5k hours. The Seagate has 11k on it and it's still really good condition! So I guess Seagate it is then. Thanks.

The only difference I see in the K versions of intels i-series processors are their unlocked overclocking capabilities.
I bought an i5-4670k purely because it was cheaper at the time to get it w/ my mobo bundle but I had no intentions of overclocking it.

Now, here is the real question: Are you going to overclock? If yes you'll not only need an unlocked (k) processor, but you'll need a mobo that can handle overclocking.
But since you are looking at a z97 board you should be fine on the mobo side.

If you're thinking of overclocking, definitely get the k version, if not then don't and save a bit of money.
If you're considering overclocking or if the difference is only like 10 bucks, definitely go for the k version just for the benefit of knowing you can overclock down the line.

Good luck w/ your build and be sure to keep us posted when you're building it!

well the K versions only means that they are fully unlocked, so overclockable.

    is it realy worth it?
well that depends on if you like to play arround with overclocking, and offcourse the price diffrence.

Overclocking is not realy nessesary persee.
Even the locked cpu´s, wont have much problems maxing out any current single gpu on the market right now!
So overclocking isnt realy going to be a big improvement anyways for a gaming perspective.

Even on a non-overclockable board it is. Due to the factory OC.

    Yes.

They K is unlocked meaning you can overclock it.

I'm really not a fan of locked processors at all.

If youre overclocking (which I guess you do since you are getting a Z97 mobo) then you need the K

Smart cache is intel's marketing name for cache ^^

It makes a difference if you use integrated graphics for games. Who does that? Well, nobody.  Lol. Oh and I suppose this way apple can market their laptop as having "crystal clear iris pro graphics".

I think its the name of the integrated gpu (igpu) in the Haswell chips.

EDIT; Bloop  "Crystalwell is the name for a part of a superior subset of Haswell chips. 'Crystalwell' is literally the codename of the L4 cache (eDRAM) featured in the Iris Pro-enabled Haswell CPUs".

    Found it here

From what i read, no. It has to with the integrated gpu in the cpu.

If you're looking to get a laptop, then maybe. But for desktop gaming with a dedicated gpu, then no, not at all.

Does it make a difference for a 300-350 Euro CPU or is it just a fancy name?

    metal compatibility:
most if not all blocks are copper based. some manufacturers will nickel plate the
    to prevent tarnish and corrosion.
materials like acetal, plexi, acrylic, stainless steel, copper, brass are pretty much
compatible, just have to use a biocide to prevent algae growth.
using aluminum in a custom loop can be done, but along with the biocide a
corrosion inhibitor is needed. most stay away from ally parts in a loop.

for 420 radiators look to alphacool.
available in 30mm, 45mm, 60mm, 80mm thicknesses. a wide range of fan configs
    and all are copper.
