Thanks! The 900D is really nice to work in! its so much room in it!
Thank you! Well im planning on adding some more acrylic covers around the motherboard area to cover the rubber gromets, and on the back to cover some of the ventilation holes! and redo some bends that im not happy with, And I am adding another 1080ti next month! other than that Im pretty happy with the results

Polarwindz reacted to DrMikeNZ in Should I upgrade to Ryzen?
It is similar price and performance as the 6900K, it is quite an expensive upgrade though.
At this point unless you urgently need more performance now, I would recommend waiting a year to see what is released with the next HEDT processors.

Polarwindz reacted to RazrLeaf in Best Silent Airflow Case
I have a define R5, and it offers airflow that is on par with a fully open case, but still offers sound dampening for things like HDDs and the fans when they're spinning. The sides on the front are so open that it's not an issue from an airflow perspective, and because the face perpendicular to the fans has padding on it, the sound is deadened.
But your choice of fan is important. You'll want something that either has rubber mounts or padded corners. And you'll want to have some way of controlling the fans. Simply buying PWM fans isn't the global answer, as you need a motherboard that is able to control the type and number of fans you wish to use. The R5 also has 3 speed switch for controlling 3-pin fans, so you can use that to your advantage as well.
Having your HDDs turn off when idling helps A LOT, as does a PSU with a fanless mode. My PC is at ear level about 2 feet away, and I can't hear it when under light load.

I'd get the 3000 since they're the same price.and yea suck air from the front and blow to the back.

Noctua sells some industrial fans which go to like 3000 rpm. I have some and they're really good for heatsinks and case fans. And they're not really noisy

all cases are quiet its the fans that are the problem!.
you can always get some foam and sound proof your case

450D is pretty quiet
R5 is quiet but has mediocre airflow, same as H440

Polarwindz got a reaction from Sharif in Air Cooling Setup v1.0
This is my first air cooling setup, I have the Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212 overclocked my Fx 8320 to 4.5ghz.
I have a fan sucking air off the heat sync up into the top of the case.
I have 2 Cougar Vortex PWM 120 Cooling CF-V12HPB fans exhausting from the top.
Then I have 2 other fans, one as the rear exhaust and one as a intake behind the power supply.
I'll be replacing all my fans with 6 x NF-S12A PWM fans

Oh sorry about it being hurtful. It was meant as a joke, you know, being powerful kinda like (But can it run solitaire) i was making it compare to server grade GPU stuff where they are not good for playing games at all.
