I'm so sick of these sleepless nights I'm so si…

    pretty much same here
  3. Just curious why now the Vessi sponsor reads state the shoes are 'extremely waterproof' when Linus has asserted (IMHO correctly) that nothing (Vessi specifically in this case) is waterproof but only water resistant. See 5/3/24 WAN show sponsor reads for an example of the new language: I'm assuming it's just that LMG agreed to new terms in a new sponsorship agreement (which is fine, get that bread) but to go from 'nothing is waterproof' to 'these shoes are extremely waterproof' seems like a jump if nothing about the product has changed.
  4. Ensure that you've installed the AMD chipset driver and the Realtek 8852CE driver (Bluetooth and WiFi). After opening the driver archive, try right-clicking on the EXE and choose 'Run as administrator'. Reboot the PC then check Device Manager to see if it was detected.
  5. Not sure what you mean here, NVENC IS the GPU encoder engine.
  6. you could try jellyfin to test transcoding for free until you are ready to buy plex
  7. 250*0.7 = 175. So 175ml is how much alcohol would be in a 250ml 70% bottle. Setting up the ratio 250/175 = ?/250 will allow you to calculate how much water you'd need to add. Solving the bottom equates to 250 being 143% of 175, so you'd multiply the top by 143% as well, yielding 357.5. 357.5 is your new amount in the bottle - 250ml of which is alcohol and 107ml of which is water. TL:DR add 107ml
  8. Most certainly, unless you are willing to move that CPU over to a DIY build later where those options will become available. Although I'd argue the HP is going to be bad no matter what if it wont enable XMP that every CPU supports.
  9. Gaming on a PC with sensitive information seems risky in general, at least for games using kernel level anti-cheat.
  10. This is my logic. 250/(x + 250) = .7 solve for x and adding about 107ml of water should take it down to around 70%. I found a calculator specifically for this online as well if you want an easy way to do other things. The above math seems to check out. (this link is insane) https://www.omnicalculator.com/food/alcohol-dilution?calculatorResult=H4sIAAAAAAAAA81YbW%2BbOhT%2BKxHah3bqKCQhJNU6qWu0qR%2F2IuW2%2BzBVkwMu4c7gyMbpuir%2F%2FR4bQpJiM1jD3fgQ%2Be085%2FGxz4vzaOE0ilM8y1CGrbNHK0AkEAQ64Q1iMZoTzD%2BiBHPr7Kt1j9H3CxLQBSUXCRVpZp1Y99DBM0pEFtO0HM1ohshnyuQgh%2F5dnCJyA6sSfEnTjKFAzsBEsNO7he4CpZFWtUbNrRIP41wJcI%2FTpcj2GiHmMcPhZ8wCnGYowrZjnVVHe6%2FPe67jAB%2BeMZpGxSZ3xFwQM8z13vSk5I5xduT6IKed6b05V2JVhgMtw1yJid6whl65Nz1Dz8iwFKxyHOmt2DNwMCr3zcprsKp8xgababFr7DhpvS%2FjhXF%2Ba2t6M7luq%2F2tTywqsjoXeLQyFkcRZnEabZxN%2Bpq8Rgt6%2F23HLb%2BtKAFiK0QETGdM4HWtmzwX2uhHzwXWelpXhhh2ZQivC0OMumLrd8F23N2xTTp0jQO4nTk6PA95Ddgi3succ0KD7%2B8ZFUtuu3aCAD7A3B7YgcziKbcdlUp14L1zSBygwQAxfD6E9wTiDhH%2BJOw14%2F%2FbZlMa10332JUa76Bq1DWANSvMOCx5R1kClaCqrJCquGa7V1sVi%2BXiq81y0AVFg%2FxeHh25p0X7%2BOURw3eY4TTAN1Ln8bG1q%2BuTyFrLr%2FerxwZ0POfUHU0c33Fb8TkqhE49yeOXpAy17l%2FDr1rF%2FwUnqavv%2Fzgt4IVB%2FvKPPonwD%2BhNUYZUeOYX4QoBx7Bw2hMY%2BkDnMcHlgOCY5bYDxezhkoYyAFzPJLRgcocPqj%2FdGZg9JHPp0tYLGCTwBhOQWApJnL5SwoB7lSwhuCByncYZ3%2BQO2EpuWTk6xUuchhLyA1oCC5iVoUtnukpil9W0LkyBERKUCkSuZHJS8Ui7DsZlErNW3qX4NOa4%2F%2BNmGn0h0%2BsFG3Fl2ATkJQm5FILo4l8As97G0UeRzMFoZTy0HHX4%2BupambYNUp5b85ap8m8HOplApbLB3XSq9mwH6m%2Bp5k1j0G8M2fe2mKq93hxl9ToYMlSLV6Dp%2BWTpt3Jb8KxLcCXzVrdns9VKemp%2BwPZoMOi7w%2F7Y8%2BWvvz1t3czBj74uhzVGHQx92%2FX6w0n5jf0t8V%2F%2FDkpSB0H6f2JGhw6%2Bn0EOAGioBBqDus7I9hsfQt0BHwSpg3BtLEuaO4F3KBsdAEleUIYDGpPy%2F14kMsrRCtpf1f%2BphKAlx%2BFVyPORBSbLf6AGUVnXdLeLysNwAMWsJkjJAsJg5EJoL4QWY6bgtHks5QVH2xKDY4IDqPFUbTMjIqrLC0sWJ4jJOiohRk%2BqLNJfpqfLnmSN7fQdeUV%2F1kfnymL4%2FgO9BGDT4xcAAA%3D%3D
  11. The motherboard is the problem then. Even an H chipset board supports K suffix CPUs, CPU support is an Intel thing but for why HP sells overclockable CPU on a system that doesn't let you do that, honestly they don't care because someone is going to just judge the product purely by the names and not investigate deeper.
  12. I did it all before the spacers arrived for my NH-D15, and it was at least an hour. Absolutely terrifying since I hadn't attempted a BOOT yet without a cooler.
  13. From what I can see, from day 1 they have said you will need to link your PSN account to run the game. So people are asking for or looking for refunds now that the linking that they told players about day 1 is being enforced to make some feature that has been planed on working from day 1, work?
  14. I've heard Linus mention how he wishes UV would come back in style. While it hasn't and more than likely won't, www.performance-pcs.com sells a decent amount of prob new-old stock. They have a decent amount of UV supplies. I think he should build the PC he always wanted back then, today. High-end everything with UV. It would be a classic build for the channel.
  15. Its not just that its plenty fast, what we were trying to get across is you simply can't just buy 7200 RAM and expect it to work without issues. Zen4 has some pretty big hurdles to overcome and you need some RAM tuning expertise to even get the system booted above say 6400 in most cases. THis isn't recommended by AMD and certainly not by us helping out someone who isn't tweaking RAM for fun. Sure. If later this year or next you buy a 9800x3D and we learn Zen5 works fine with faster RAM out of the box, maybe you can swap out then. Or not, what you have will still work just fine. x3D parts historically simply don't need the fastest RAM anyway to achieve the performance they do.
  16. Clicking random ads to send ad providers on a wild goose chase is the best decision I've ever made

    image.png.6f5e0fc45c58a7fecb827ab11d4d87e1.png

I've gotten ads for Islam (who's profiting off of giving away free Qurans?), ads for a show in French, and ads for PRIVATE BIRTHING ROOMS

  17. Well, I did it. I've been wanting to direct die ever since I saw MSI's factor included contact frame for their Z97 MPOWER. So what are the results? Not much when it comes to Cinebench R23 all core. Although, just CCD0, I'm clearing 19k on cinebench. Highest so far was 19108 for just CCD0. The all core were still in the high 36k range, but I haven't tested more aggressive undervolting (getting it to POST has been difficult). What I'm mostly testing is whether or not a direct die modification allows for constant/near constant 5.25GHz boosting, which is higher than what the 7800x3D can do without bclk OCing. Even with the thermal limit removed, the 7950x3D is mostly TDP/voltage limited. I'll be playing around more with it to see if I can circumvent this limit, but I'm doubtful. I don't think the 85C limit the 7000x3D chips have is as important with direct die, considering its at least -10C. For those who think I'm bluffing: Getting rid of the solder was a struggle, spent about 30 minutes on that alone.
  18. Unless you have Remote Desktop enabled I still don't see how that would grant any access to your computer
  19. They can't, database leaks involve the data that sony has about you, things like emails, passwords (usually encrypted), purchases, credit card info (also usually encrypted) and anything else sony might store. Obviously if you don't provide CC info then that won't get leaked.
  20. Assuming you don't do something dumb and use your main email with your main email's password.
  21. I am running an HP Z2 Mini G9 which supports this cpu There is no option to enable XMP in bios or to enable overclocking at all Intel XTU in Windows has pretty much every option greyed out and says overclocking not supported Voltage control is also totally locked out, so I can’t even undervolt I am wondering why HP even sells these with K series cpu support at all, I mean what’s the point? Would I have been better off getting the non K 14700?

Just realised that my oldest VGA cable is old e…

I have a monochrome-only VGA cable - a few weeks ago I didn't realize it was monochrome-only and grabbed it off my rack to test a Quadro card I'd picked up. I thought there was something awfully wrong with the card, it would output monochrome compatible things like the BIOS and POST screen just fine, but when it got into Windows everything was a huge red mess. I did some troubleshooting on the card and then realized that in fact I am stupid
