[Build Log] HTPC ITX

Hello! I just want to share my new HTPC. I don't have a name for it yet. Full album here and specs on signature. Enjoy!

 

 

I picked this motherboard to use CIR but I cannot get it to work.

 

 

I removed the HDD cage, no use for it.

 

 

 

 

Power supply installed. It is really cramped inside.

 

 

 

 

Finished product. The case's finish is really sensitive to fingerprints, have to work with gloves with extra carefulness.

 

 

 

This is what it looks like on our TV set. I use openelec installed on a USB 3.0 flash drive and streaming from NAS (the gray box behind TV and HTPC). HTPC is quiet and low temps. I put a dedicated IR receiver and remote from eBay for old people and kids but most of the time I use my phone(Nexus 5) and Yatse app.
