Is my rig compatible? and what do you guys think? 1250-1300$ Budget

Hey everyone, i plan on gaming with this new rig, i've been planning this for a few months and i think i'm gonna order soon, all these parts are on sale on Newegg by quite a lot. Also i have another question , i dont know if anyone can help me with it but i live in Canada but i plan on buying my parts from newegg.com (american website) and i'm gonna go get it from a warehouse in the states since i live close to the boarders, if i have a problem with any of my parts will i have any trouble sending them out for repair? Random question but it's important.

The power supply is overkill but other than that seems good.

I know but its on sale by like 100$ and most 700-800w PSU's are around 100$ and it's on sale for 120$,  great deal for a platinum PSU.

Here is my suggestion

I've left the graphics card out because I really can't recommend anything anymore. I have a 780 which is great but the 780ti is coming out soon.

Also I can't say anything about the 290x because it is too soon to tell

also a side note: you can usually skip buying Windows if you have an old laptop or something with a Windows 7 key on the bottom. No point giving M$oft more money when you don't have to.

There's a Canadian version of newegg and pcpartpicker.

The system works but it could be better. What's it being used for?

I haven't heard good thing's about Haswell so far. Most people say to stick with Ivy Bridge.

It's worth going Haswell for the better motherboards alone.

8 cores for gaming. Cheaper.

So at the end of the day , AMD would be smarter option? I don't really like any of the AMD boards though.

What @WoodenMarker is saying is true about 8 cores and it being cheaper but if you have the money then go intel.

Not even the 990FX-UD3?

That's one board though, it seems like all the other ones aren't the best.. but i wouldn't know that for sure since i've never had a AMD MOBO or CPU. It just feels with Intel you have so much more selection , lol.
