Corsair RM 850 strange clicking noise when starting

So I got my corsair RM850 this week and it's really sleek, however, everytime I switch it on or off it makes a strange clicking noise I didn't encounter on my old power supply.

 

I don't think it's malfunctioning but it's disruptive and not great to listen to. What's your expert opinion about it?

 

Also, no matter how much load I put on that PSU, the fan won't spin because I couldn't reach the 40% load threshold yet.

My 650 makes a single 'click' when it turns on, kinda strange but it doesn't bother me
