My semi-well done Window mod!

WorldDominator

So I had a CM Storm Scout 2 case and I wanted the window to be bigger (for future projects).

Here's a bit of the process:

Taped off, ready for cuts:

Post- Roto Zip (I didn't have a dremel tool but it seemed to work just as well):

Screw holes for fans that gave me trouble:

After sanding (in and out):

Scratches :(

There's the new window!

Here's it installed. It doesn't even face me though :(

Awesome. The U-Chanel looks nice!

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Did you try to smooth out some of the bumps in the U-Channel?

Thanks everyone!

Did you try to smooth out some of the bumps in the U-Channel?

Yes but it is too bumpy in some spots. One part is my dads fault because he started cutting (which I didn't approve of) and I couldn't go too crazy with sanding because I wouldn't have had as much surface area to attach the acryllic.

Buy me a new one ^_^

I think this may be too ghetto for his approval

The mobo never looked that bad before (previous window was smoked). As for the PSU cables, I plan on buying a modular PSU with some more watts so I can sleeve the cables possibly get a custom loop going.
