How to Remove Google Chrome Adware

I had one of those software that ask you to install other programs when installing the program itself, I clicked disagree on everything but they still gave it to me.

I uninstalled everything, but I keep getting popups in Chrome.

They were funny at first, but now they are intrusive.

Please recommend something.

you say in your title its adware..you dont say what you are even seeing just "popups." For all I know its an anti virus suite you installed and its giving you popups about malicious sites

I had this before. I don't remember the location, but the adware modified the Google chrome options text, and made it not update. It also installed itself into Google chomes files. I had to uninstall chrome, and delete everything that related to it. Then I ran malware bytes and cc cleaner.

1) Go into you extensions and remove any extensions there that you didn't want installed.

2) Back up your bookmarks.

3) Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Chrome and run the Advanced scan; delete everything it finds in the registry and any leftover files it finds.

4) Run Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner and remove anything they find.

5) Run a scan with your AV and quarantine/remove anything it finds.

6) Do a clean install of Chrome.

7) Don't go to questionable sites or download/install software that isn't from a known safe source.

Install adblock, and turn on chrome protect.
