Used hard drives?

So I've been thinking of setting up a NAS for some... Research... And I was thinking about how old hard drives tend to pile up over time when you work with computers a lot. Are there people who sell bulk used hard drives for cheap? I know it wouldn't be the best for quality, but when your tight on cash you gotta get creative.

Also, I'm not looking for anything shady here. I'm sure you could find people selling lots of old drives with the previous owners data, but that's not what I'm after...
