Reinstallation of windows on new mobo+cpu

I'm thinking (decided to) upgrade to skylake from my fx-6300 I got last year. Buuut I'll need a new motherboard obv. I'm going for a MSI gaming m7 and a i5 6600k. So will I need to do reinstall windows when the new hardware is in? Some people say yes, some say no. Anyone switched mobos and have first hand experience that can help me out?

Thanks!

AFAIK a CPU upgrade will not require any form of reinstallation/reactivation

but Changing the MoBo will require reactivation one main reason is that the MAC address changes.

Though it might still require reinstallation, I'm not sure I never performed a MoBo upgrade before.
