moving hard drive containing Windows

waggythegeek

I'm trying to move my c: Drive to another computer and bout into it, but Windows always refuses to launch because of recent hardware changes. How do I fix this?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

it takes a while.

It took an hour when I moved it to a x4-9550 and another when I moved it to a i7-920 when I moved it back to the 4790k it took 10min

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
