Weird Fix to Limited Connection

On a PC I built about a month ago, I've gotten connection issues twice. The wifi icon has the yellow exclamation point and says limited.

Troubleshooting tells me that my wifi doesn't have a valid IP configuration. I've tried manually putting in the settings and other solutions but none of them worked.

 

Both times the fix that worked for me was uninstalling Apple-related things. The first time, I uninstalled Bonjour and after a restart, the internet worked. The second time, the same issue appeared so I tried uninstalling iTunes, and the internet worked?

What exactly is in iTunes that prevents my internet from working?
