PCI and PCIE slots detect nothing

Windows 10 Enterprise 64x

Intel i5 4590

4GB Kingston Hyperx DDR3 x2(8GB memory)

Z97 PC MATE (current chipset driver installed, current bios not installed but did effect detection last month when i built PC)

ASUS Radeon 290x DirectCu II - PCIE (current driver installed)

ASUS Xonar DC - PCI (no driver)

620W Seasonic

So about 3 hours ago everything worked fine and i turn off my pc.

I turn on my computer and i hear my 290x fans on full and nothing is coming up on screen.

Move to Onboard graphics and screen comes right up.

Go to bios and check to see if bios is detecting my equipment and detect nothing in any slots.

Take out both cards and head back to bios.

Confirm bios does not see anything.

Put cards back in slots and bios see nothing still.

Everything else is working but the PCI/PCIE slots from what i can tell. Does anyone have any idea why my PCi slots stopped working? Did they burn out?

edit: everything are bran new parts i bought in June.

Can you plug anything else into those ports like a wifi card or a sound card?

No other cards to try. The Xonar is a sound card btw.

edit: also why would both cards died at the same time if that is what happened?

it proabably isnt my parents in law got a pc from walmart with and asus board in it and one of the pcie slots fried at one point while i was working on it to get the dial up card working (yeah they have satelite internet now) so its probably a friend PCIe controller if its all the slots at once.

So i just played around with everything. My 290x still works. My Sound card did work(recently is not getting detected again). The Problem i am having is that 290x is not secure enough in the slot. Like it wiggled out of place or something. Not enough support on the other end of the Card may be the problem. Have you had a problem similar to mine?

not in a while. Im only running a 770 currently while I save enough for a 980ti but I have had it before. You may need to get a graphics card support.
