Windows 10 update... Problem

Reds Duty

So... Hi everyone...

I feel a little stupid right now.

Well... So I reserved my windows 10 update just like anyone else, and when it asked me to download and accept license terms, I just closed the window.
So when I check now later on it, it shows me constantly: Windows 10 is downloading.

When I go to check download progress, I end up in windows update, telling me to restart, so I restarted and shut down in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE IN WINDOWS 8.1.

But it never started updating... It just restarted...

So... If you need extra information, just ask...
Thanks for your help.

Greetings

Look at my guide, you'll find a way to upgrade there.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Okay, Do you mean your guide about how to install windows (8).

Because, I can't really find something helpful there, I'm looking for a solution without needing to reinstall EVERYTHING.

So, thanks for your help, but it didn't really solve my problem....

If you meant something else, let me know, and link it...

Well, without a error code, event log, what kbxxxxx update you're doing, or physically not being there to test different things...  I cant really be of much help.

Had a friend whose windows 10 bugged a few times, both in download and install.

Can't say what else he tried, but the trick that got his windows 10 installing was the delete advice in the thread below.
